Grendel's Blood
History
"Well, 'ug der'. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Dr. Verde. You wished to do business with me in what I produce? No? Ah. You desired information about the 'group' I choose to support... 'Grendel's Blood'. Very well... I could tell you of its history that I've gathered if you have the time.
"In its beginnings, da Blud Klan wuz... *ahem* pardon me. The Blood Clan was a fairly larged sized band of trolls founded in the mid 90s by its leader named Grendel, clearly. He was an immensely powerful troll, and possessed quite a level of intelligence. Some stories claimed he was once an obscure super powered human that turned to dyne, amplifying it greater... others say he was once a very gifted telepath, and the prolonged and extreme usage gave him that power. Or perhaps he born that way. Regardless of the story, he was an elusive figure dat neber... never, hardly showed his face and used the trolls most faithful to him as his mouthpiece. That is why only some trolls have "Blood" within their names: they were the most faithful to his cause, and swore a blood oath to him.
*nonchalently releases an ampule of a low level of airborne superadyne into the air, away from others' eyes*
"Much lyk da ovv'r klans... the Blood Clan trolls took in the simple pleasures of 'klomping' things, wild parties, and the intake of the drug I so lovingly make nowadays. However, there was a nature of rule in the group due to Grendel's prescence... which was harsh, yet fair in the eyes of his followers. As a result interestingly, while the gang's reputation was growing increasingly infamous, the most they've done in their section of the neighborhood was vandalism and large scale assault. The deaths caused by them were significantly fewer in comparison to the other factions of Paragon City ---- if you carefully looked at flowcharts and the like dating back on file. But I'm sure that part doesn't interest you."
"But... onto what may. In the later months of 2000, Grendel caught word that a rival gang was preparing something big underneath the streets of Eastgate. Going to check it out for himself personally, he and a few close to him came to find a very ambitious Atta with his own gang handling explosives in the sewers. Dat led tu dem klompin''... *ahem*. It lead to both Grendel and Atta fighting each other, inevitably. While it would have been clear Grendel would have been victor, something occured down there. A blue flash of light filled the tunnel, and then a moment later Grendel was writhing in pain. Before Atta had the chance to finish him off, several of the trolls realized the explosives lining the sewers were lit. The rest of it I am confident you are aware of in Paragon's history: The Hollowing. Interestingly, while a few tough trolls survived the entire event, including Atta... all of the dead bodies found when a search was made were accounted for, except Grendel's. Perhaps he is still out there, but to no surprise Atta brags of his victory over him. While it is a large part of a troll's philosophy to lead by 'survival of the fittest', I personally cannot see a leader who won by an outside force... whatever it may have been. Veree nubhosh. Oh? How do I know this, you ask? There is a troll or two that I deal business in that witnessed and survived the event.
*smirks a bit, releasing more superadyne into the air*
"Hmm... while many trolls switched loyalties to Atta's growing gang, some... namely the 'Blood' trolls, still believed in their leader being out there. Bloodfyre, Grendel's 'little' brother (not by blood per se, but most faithful), decided to eventually move out of Paragon City and into the Rogue Isles by sometime in early 2002. There they hoped to regroup and ultimately get even for Atta's 'treachery', by what the Blood Clan trolls believe. It was then they renamed themselves 'Grendel's Blood'. They've been recruiting trolls in the area ever since, as well as those who no longer like Atta. I hear lately he's been getting hit hard by the local heroes often."
"That's about where I came in. In May 2004 came to be about the time I started my 'new life' under the indentity everyone knows now. Who was I before? Lat nub kan gruk. However, as Grendel's Blood was about the only group in the Rogue Isles that consisted of a solid number of trolls led by a formidable one named Bloodfyre, I took it upon myself to help them in any way I could. While I am not as physically capable as most of them due to what I... experimented upon... myself, I came to be liked by most of them over the course of time. As I do have what they crave most...
"Were you satisfied with the knowledge I shared with you? Yes? I do have one other question to ask... do you enjoy the quickening pulse you are experiancing right now? The feeling of being... powerful? Perhaps I can help you..."
What is Grendel's Blood?
Grendel's Blood is an RP VG located on the Virtue server that is troll themed. All trolls are welcome to join: wheter you are one created by dyne (Science origin), born from dyne using parents (Mutant), or are the real thing and have been a troll without any interferance from dyne itself directly/indirectly (Natural). If you are a mature roleplayer interested in creating a troll for this group, please read the rules and information needed for making one below. Also, for further info regarding anything else, you can find it here.
Rules
- Roleplaying: It is expected that everyone in the SG has an interest towards playing our their character. As trolls in CoH do speak in a primitive form of English, 'orc blah' is only optional and used at one's descretion how much they want to use in how their character speaks. It is however, to those not familar to the language, to have a grasp of it so to understand others.
If you have a problem you wish to express out-of-character, please send me or any of the other leaders a tell or a PM regarding the matter.
- Cooperation: Grendel's Blood members are expected to work together whenever possible. Always try to look up for other members in the gang when grouping. Try to share whenever possible to other trolls who are in need. SG mode is required to be on at all times until lvl 30, and all salvage pieces all currently go to Dr. Verde when they are required.
As the setting for the SG makes it for a less xenophobic setting than other Shadowclan branches, everyone should still be wary of anyone outside of Grendel's Blood.
- Activity: Please note that if your character is inactive for near 30 days, I will attempt to contact you. Otherwise, you will risk being kicked from the SG. This will not occur just yet as a strict rule, but may in the distant future as the group continues to grow. This is only because of the finite amount of members an SG can have.
Information for Joining
To create your rampaging greenskin, you will need to know the following:
Origins
While you are required to pick either of these three origins listed below, the reason for your character's powers can still be taken from any origin. This can all be explained within your bio. This is to answer the question 'what type of troll are you?'.
- Science - Dyne Troll. A troll who was once human, created by long-term abuse of the drug superadyne. The most common sort of troll, as all the NPCs in CoH/CoV lore fall into this catagory. Dyne trolls possess light green skin, enhanced strength, and reduced mental capacity. Some more heavy users lose all their hair and grow fangs and small nubby horns.
Use the lightest green of the three shades for a dyne troll. Just about any face will do, but some of the Hostile faces, and the Demonic face work nicely in particular. If you are a bald and horned troll, use Devil Horns and use a color matching your skin. Dyne troll tendencies towards powersets include Super Strength, Stone Melee, Invulnerability, Stone Armor, and Regeneration
- Mutant - Dyne Born Troll. A troll since childbirth, created by one or more parents who are dyne trolls. While they possess all the same physical characterics of a dyne troll, their skin tends to be a bit darker and have lost the regenerative properties of their parents. It is assumed that this is a byproduct of the drug superadyne itself. While many enjoy the effects of superadyne themselves, they somehow aren't prone to having it as an addiction. While they are still in every aspect a troll regardless, they are sometimes regarded as 'orcs'.
Use the medium green shade for a dyne born troll. Consult the rest above from a 'Science' origin troll.
- Natural - Natural Born Troll. They are the genuine thing, a troll that has been one since childbirth without any dyne to make them this way, directly or indirectly. As they are the real thing, they stand out from the other two catagories in that their heads are the least human-like, and tend to possess much more body hair. These trolls sometimes intermingle with the gang, finding a kinship with them.
Any shade of the three greens can be used, or any 'normal' shade of hair color for trolls with an abundance of hair. Use Beast 1, 4 or 5 heads under Monsterous.
Powers
In all actuality, while the tendency towards which AT is most natural to a troll is Brute and would be suggested to any who wants to play one in a traditional fashion, any AT is possible to be created using the right ideas. Here would be a few of them:
- Could be someone who already possessed powers prior to becoming a troll, or had subtle/dormant powers in which the superadyne 'awakened' upon prolonged usage of the drug. (Note: In Angel Lopez's dialogue in the Zig, just about everyone has been exposed to dyne once, to 'jump start' their powers when they have been suppressed by inhibitor drugs used by the wardens to keep all the villains in check. It is very possible an addiction for dyne may have started within the Zig...)
- Perhaps one of the character's parents was a Mutant, creating a dyne born troll who has inherented those powers as well.
- An ordinary troll who simply came across something (object, force, or special training) that gave him/her unusual powers from what would be expected of other trollkin.
Naming
When naming your troll, go for a name most fitting for him/her. This can in the form of an Orcish name, or name derived from Orcish words. If you require help with one, consult this page, looking at the list at the bottom:
http://www.orcs.ca/orcsmain/resourcename.html
When you do have a troll created, please contact either me @Bloodboulder, or another capable of recruiting currently: @Tempus Fugit, @Blue Nugget, @Lt. Les, @General Stratos.
Ranks of Grendel's Blood
- Runt: The lowest rank in which the least amount of respect is given.
- Smasher: The rank in which a troll truly becomes a member, by proving their worth and make an oath of loyalty to the gang. These ones are starting to show their own strength and what they are capable of, ambitious to one day become a Grunt Becoming a Smasher requires completion of the first SF with the gang, an oath made to one of the Nobs, and writing up a bio for your troll in the Shadowclan forums.
- Grunt: The veterans that form the backbone of the group. They've spent a good long while in the gang, and their deeds are not without respect to the younger members. To become a Grunt, completion of all four SFs is required, as well as performing a special task given by one of the Nobs.
- Nob and Shakh: The bosses of the gang. When the Shakh isn't present, a Nob's word is to be obeyed just as respectfully as the Shakh's. The current Shakh is Bloodfyre.

We require that our members be at least 18 years of age and otherwise be generally mature.
In addition to numerous spur of the moment villaingroup outings, we run attendance-optional lowbie Monday night teams at least once a week. Please review the FAQ on our website for more information about us.
[1] Yeah, right. Coup d'etat scheduled for Thursday morning. Don't tell Shadowbaer.
[2] In a backstabby kind of way.
[3] At least right up to the point at which one of us conquers the world. After that, you're on your own.

Together We Conquer,
The Order of the Horde is now recruiting.
The Horde is a group of demons that were banished from this world several centuries ago. Thanks to a foolish mage from the Circle of Thorns, they now have managed to get a foothold back on this plane through possession of a mortal woman who was offered to them as a sacrifice. They seek wizards, demons, and other servants of the Darkness to help them find a way to open the sealed gate between the planes, and begin a new reign of terror.
The emphasis of the group is dramatic roleplaying, and IC behavior is expected when interacting with other group members. As the group develops there will be player-driven RP tasks and events associated with breaking the seals that hold the Dark Gate closed.
As a rule of thumb, characters should be involved in dark magic in some way--but I'm open to alternatives as long it makes some sense that they'd be trying to assist a demonic invasion.
The group is in its infancy, but it does have a webforum for IC development and OOC commentary. If you're keen to do massive base raids and get into the Top 10 list for prestige, this probably isn't the group for you. But if you want to put on the bad guy hat and do some RPing, then this is a good chance to get in on the start of a long-term, player-driven story arc.
Interested applicants can send a PM to me in the forums, or in-game you can send an email or /tell to Sacrificed.
Hi I'm a stalker, currently level 14, I plan on pvping and am a rper. I'm looking for an rping villian group to go along with my characters personality. Simply put he's a thief and a mercenary, he has a suit that even he doesn't know the extent of it's abilities. He stole it from a scientist. The suit has a nueral interface which allows him to control to power output and teleport abilities. The rest of the suit's functions are controlled by the belt. He will avoid killing if he can. Thanks for reading. Character's name is Devil's Shadow.
This was mistakenly placed in the heroe's thread. But we don't want no heroes. Only the wicked may apply....

-Have you always thought that technology can solve every problem?
-Have you wondered why we don't let AI run things more smoothly for us?
-Do you just use (or are made of) robotics, and like destruction?
-MechaNation is light-medium RP VG, and we have a spot for any part that shows potential. Whether you're Magi-Tech, an Upgraded Mutant or Natural, a Science experiment who looks to cybernetics, or robot or robot user who wants to work with and help improve a well-oiled machine, MechaNation can use your talent for villainy. A brief look into the founding and growth of our group can be found here. Our primary contact database ((with both OC and IC sections)) can be found here. IRL, we are just a bunch of players who have formed friendships and a fun-loving play style that holds regular events, will be raid capable when I7 hits, and are seeking to expand both our group, and our collective fun. We have also remained active when other tech groups (many of whom are Coalition members) have declined into little. To the Rogue Isles and Paragon City, we are a reserved and focused group of deadly technology users (specifically, robtics users and robots) whose motives are unknown and orginization unclassified. A group that uses tech of any type, you simply need an in-story reason for your conversion...and we also accept nano-tech-zombies, android/mindcontrolled/behaviormodified Thugs/Soldiers/Ninjas for you MM types who might worry (although we DO have a noted preference for Robots, and a similar preferance for Force Fields). When I7 hits, we plan to expand and obtain Items of Power...and whether you're an Electric/Electric robot, a Thugs/Dark Mastermind, or a Plant/Plant Dominator, we may just have a place for you in our grand scheme. Come check out our boards, and see if the Nation is right for you. (Please note that we accept characters that have already been made, but characters that will be made fresh in I7 will want to look at our story and standardization procedures). Introduce yourself to us, and come have fun terrorizing the Isles!
Sinnius Green (@Sinnius), Professor Todesfall (@Nemo Utopia), Clockwork Assasin (@Ant), Microbyte, and Spareparts can all be contacted in game, and will gladly process your data requests.

Spade's Aces
We are a group of like minded people, working together with various interest groups to "get by. Pragmatic males and females who try to get a better cut of the hostile environment called the Rogue Isles by helping each other out.
Chances of survival are better working with others, there are aleady enough hostile people around to get in trouble with. Each of us has their own goals in mind, but we try to get along with each other like a family. We aren't that many yet, but we already have a nice and cozy underground base of our own, a former military complex we are digging out, room by room.
Every proven member will get a dorm cubicle for personal use, with anything we can manage to...scrounge together.
((We are a group of Roleplayers, playing various character types. SG chat is usually IC with OOC in brackets but we tend to have ooc discussions as well, talking about gulild stuff, game mechanics or RL related things.
We are looking for people who have fun roleplaying in a perhaps more mercenary like group, where sometimes people do their own stuff, sometimes helping each other with things.
We don't have a VG homepage yet, but are planning a page and boards once we have a couple more members.))

Ivory Tower
Certain texts on secret societies claim that the Ivory Tower has existed for centuries, though no one living can verify that claim and the texts may be carefully contrived fakes. What is known for certain is that the Ivory Tower has been in existence since the Big Breakout.
An elite club of super-powered dillitantes (ala the Hellfire Club), Ivory Tower more closely resembles a group like the Masons than a paramilitary organization or crime syndicate.
In fact, the structure of the guild is such that a ruling class called the Arcana serve as the guiding powers to four Houses. Each House is has its own signature and follows rules and orders of the Ace of that House only. Ranks that follow are Kings, Knights, and Knaves.
To become a member, speak with a member or visit our public offices at ivorytower.forumer.com. After a time as an Initiate Knave, one will be prompted to select a House.
The four Houses are as follows:
House of Scepters
House of Pentacles
House of Swords
House of the Moon
The Initiate Knave should have conferred with the Ace of the House and proven the strength of his or her intent prior to actually declaring and being accepted into a House. Meetings are held weekly, and are generally brief.
((Ivory Tower is a RP-required VG that is made up of mature roleplayers. We have a good core group, having stuck it out since the CoV beta, and have added many great players along the way. Our RP style is mostly improvisational though there are a couple of story arcs in play at the moment. We stay IC as much as possible in missions, as well.))
( I just noticed there was a Villain group thread too, I feel like such a goober for posting in the wrong one. Oh well I shall post here too !)
WYLD STALLYNS RULE! With an IRON FIST!
Wyld Stallyns is a silly, fun and heavy RP/Theme VG on Virtue.
Created by Lidda Plissken, Miffed Max and Arnie Tasker!
These 3 Awesomentians were stranded on the Erf Zoo(earth) when their field trip awesome saucer crashed into the Striga Volcano. Their other classmates Pinkshoes and Melux were saved from mortal wounds by Kheldians escaping Council bases in the region and went off to do silly things like helping people. Miffywoop , Lidda Zuffywuffyzooponk, and Arnie went off on their own and eventualy ended up in the rogue isles!
They spent much time hiding out and renting movies to study hunam culture and after a time they learned much! Lidda Zuffywuffyzooponk took on the guise of Lidda Plissken! Snake Plissken's little sister. She was sure he was off escaping from some place like montana, so being gone he was a great alibi and proof of being a real normal hunam!
Miffywoop took on the cunning guise of Miffed Max! Mad Max's little brother and Arnie took on the guise of Arnie Tasker! Seekrit agent and perfectly normal family man! The 3 awesomentians do not realize these movies are fiction, and are completly convinced their disguises are INGENIOUS and AWESOME!
While working on their hunam studies one day and admiring two hunams who progressed beyond their dismal hunamity to reach high levels of awesome, Bill S Preston and Ted Theodore Logan, they had a brilliant epiphany! The Wyld Stallyns bring utopia , peace and awesomeness to the world of hunam stinkbeasts through rockin' tunes! This is a most noble goal to the awesomentians! They begin plotting to make this a reality now! The only way they figure out how to do this however is WORLD DOMINATION, clearly. Hunam stinkbeasts cannot be expected to reach such an awesome status without the leadership of awesomentians and like minded hunams who have surpassed their biological awesome-block.
With hunam research and cunning disguises complete, Lidda, Max and Arnie set out to find a plan for WORLD DOMINATION!
While wandering, they wander into a slummy area controlled by a really mean gang of icky unclean hunams covered in bodyart and rife with most unawesome tunes. After being surrounded by really tall hunam stinkbeasts threatening their very awesome existance with all manner of bats, sledgehammers and GUNS! ... lidda began panicing and secreting mind control sporesacs. (Sporesacs are used by Awesomentian females to control males much as Hunam females use highheels!). The sporesacs quickly worked their way into the hunam thugs brain organs, and the thugs were then much happier prostrating and making praise to their new PERFECTLY NORMAL HUNAM OVERLORDS!
When wondering what to do with this drooling parade now following them, they decided.. THIS IS NOT A PARADE! THIS IS AN ARMY! AN ARMY FOR WORLD DOMINATION!
So hence forth with their new AWESOME PARADE ARMY! Lidda, Miffed Max and Arnie Tasker now stumble, trip, fall and with other awesome manners of baffoonery make their way around the rogue isles in their quest for WORLD DOMINATION!
Please seek out @zootie(Lidda Plissken) or Miffed Max in game if you are interested in joining. We will want to RP and team with you a bit and get to know you. Or you could message me here !
Thanks for reading and have a great day!

The Repeat Offenders Network has arrived on Virtue!
www.repeat-offenders.net
We are the largest network of SGs in the game (25+ SG on 3 servers).
We are also, a group of friendly players of various ages but a mostly of adults, who enjoy playing CoH/CoV. We don't have a strict rules (some of the specialized SG's require a few powers and the themed ones require a certain costume), but we are organized. What makes us great is our coalition to each of the SG/VG's, and the ability to put together a team of knowledgeable friendly players.
Here are the following SGs from the RO Network on Virtue:
* Supergroup Name: Firing Squad
*Concentration: Assault Rife Corruptors
* Leader or Recruiting Officers: @El Six or @Evelyn Spider
* Supergroup Name: The Quick & The Dead
*Themed SG (Non RP): Requires outfit and name (if starting out) reminiscent of the Old West.
*Concentration: Necromancy & Thug Masterminds, Kinetic Corruptors
* Leader or Recruiting Officers: @Evelyn Spider
Please use our global channel: Repeat Offenders to request an invite to any of our SGs. A total listing is available on our website: www.repeat-offenders.net
Posted this in main Virtue Forum, but it was pointed at to me that I might have more luck with it here. So...
Apologies in advance if this is not the proper venue, but I didn't want to spam in-game, so... OK, to the point; I love zombies, both in CoV and in RL...well, movies and comics, anyway. I got to thinking, and my favorite thought of the thinking was, "What if you got a massive group of zombie toons together, and just went nuts?" Yep, that's how ordered my thinking is.
Here's what I'm looking to do--or looking to get in on, if it already exists. I'd like to form/join a group, not necessarily a Villain/Super Group, but just a "band" of players who either have zombie-looking toons or are Necro MMs. In my head I have this vision of 40 zombies on a team...ahh, my head...
Anyway, just imagine a zombie rampage through Paragon on a Mayhem mish...or just descending on Mercy to freak out new players ( in the most fun-loving way possible ). Gives me shivers.
So, if this sounds like something you'd be interested in, or if this is something that's already going on, please let me know. In-game, my brand-new zombie toon is Romero ( and how the hell was that not taken? ), my global is @CBrown520, and I've started a channel called Calling All Zombies. I'll also provide my RL e-mail, it's CMFinB@gmail.com
Hope to hear from some of you, and again, sorry if this is improper.

For more info, either visit the home page here, send a PM to Fixer, or send a /tell to @ S0UL (note the zero, not a O) or @Brass Devil. Then we can set up an in character meeting to help decide whether the Circle is right for you... And whether you're right for the Circle. No promises.))
Here you come with a stupid name like Fixer - brutalkillz_
Villain Supergroup: Torch the Bridge
Status: Small but growing
Torch the Bridge is small, casual group. We've got a handful of people that log in regularly, and about two dozen more who are occassionally on. Coalitions with two other similarly sized groups for more channel communication.
We've got all the basic conveniences in our base: A set of teleporters, a basic medbay, enhancement and salvage storage, and salvage buff stations.
If you're looking for hardcore base raiding and gigantic, emotionless guilds, look somewhere else. If you're looking a guild with a nice-sized base and a group of people who aren't jerks, come check us out.
Send communications to @Bobulus for more information.
...As you look around the small storage room in Port Oakes sewer network you think to yourself that it's not much of a club.
"Yeah, I know it's not much." said the brawny man in a dark blue tee-shirt with a white flame embroidered on it. "But someday soon I plan to have a place where the destined of the Rogue Isles can come and enjoy the pleasant art of conversation without the ear-deafening boom-chikka-boom-chikka-boom they have in Pocket D."
"In order for this idea to become a reality I need people. People that are willing to do whatever it takes to make the Whitefire Club the new buzz-word in the Rogue Isles. Once we become noticed we will be able to get an Arachnos building loan and make the Club a reality."
"Are you ready to be part of the Club..."
((The Whitefire Club is a very small, mature, rp/pvp villain group looking to grow. We are very casual group who plays mainly on the weekends, but a couple of nights during the week as well (US central time-zone based). If you are interested give me a in-game tell @Capt_Daring, and I'll make you part of the Club. Web-sites, base accomadations, and all that good stuff coming soon(TM). ))
As Arachnos Support hits an all-time low, there, logically, would be no room to allow any blips on the radar. However, the opposite has occured; following an arrest Friday night, reports poured in over the status of a widow, known by no other name but 'Kaliyani.'
A report from the office of the Fortunata called Marino indicated that such an event did occur. "Following a breach in security," it reads, "a Wolf Spider brought one of the Widow Agents in." It continues, and speaks of a mind wipe, and a Nictus infection. No other sources have backed this report, however, so the validity has been questioned in light of recent Arachnos "truths."
In a bold move, Kaliyani, the woman told to be the widow who was indeed wiped, called a press conference in Marconeville, with the help of the Marcone, and issued a general statement to the the public of the Rogue Isles:
"It is my belief, now, more than ever, that Arachnos must be stopped. What was done to me was horrific; no one else should go through such horror. It is my solemn duty to stand by those who resist the oppression of Recluse, and it is my duty to carry out those missions that would endanger the validity of Arachnos. Already, I have garnered support from many top doctors and scientists, and have begun my campaign across the Isles. I call it the Rogue Resistance, and you may name it whatever you wish. But in the end, you will not silence me, and all those who die because they have no where to go, I am truly sorry. The crisis in Darwin's Landing must be cleaned up; there, and everywhere. I am committed, and I am viable. Do not dismiss me as a passing phase; I am here to stay."
(The Rogue Resistance is an RP villaingroup, dedicated to the Roleplaying story of a resistance against Recluse. Heavy RP, leader is always in character. Please send an email or message to the leader if you are interested in learning more. We are a growing group, and would also entertain the notion of coalitions, for RP purposes. Thank you for your time.)

The Rogue Resistance
Nimrod crouched atop the Giza, waiting patiently for the signal. The sun had set hours ago, but that did little to stifle the tide of traffic moving in and out of the grand casino. This part of town seemed to never sleep.
The lenses on his visor whirred as he zoomed in on the ferry, waiting for his contact.
"You guys are going to be sooo miffed..." he mumbled to himself, looking down on all of the security personnel far below. Someone had tipped them off that something was going down tonight, but little good that did them. It just served to make this little stunt more high-profile than they had anticipated...
Then on the dock, he spotted the one. A lean, athletic bombshell of a woman with shocking pink hair. She loitered around until the crowd thinned before she lifted into the air, soaring higher and higher, coming closer by the second...
Nimrod stood and readied himself, letting his cape go to fly out behind him in the stiff winds... "Get ready." he said, his communicator carrying the transmission to three others.
Then there was a bright green flash as she powered up and streaked through the sky overhead, leaving a trail of luminescent particles in her wake, zig-zagging through a series of hair-raising dives and turns.
"Go!"
Nimrod smiled and leapt off of the balcony, his iron-shod feet drawing furrows and sparks as he slid down the steep face of the Golden Giza.
Sparks turned into white flames as his descent ignited the phosphorus they had applied to each side of the casino. His job done, he pushed off of the wall and soared into the sky, seeming to detach himself from the earth's gravity...
Far below, the people gasped as they looked upon the four faces of the Golden Giza. Some shielded their eyes and screamed in fear, some cried out in outrage and cursed, some cheered and threw fists into the air.
The phosphorus continued to burn, visible for miles and miles in each direction. Already Longbow Skiffs were circling the skies, chasing Alpha Decay as she fled the scene, her signature done.
The crowds' faces were bathed in the light of 4 blindingly bright white X's burning on each face of the giant casino below a dazzling signature made of radiated particles that lingered in the sky for quite some time before the winds carried them away...

We believe Paragon City to be a place of corruption, so bad that the system itself is incapable of purging it. Instead it's been re-designed to just corrupt further and keep those with power, in power. The superheroes are, in a way, clueless victims, toiling on behalf of leaders who are using them to corrupt ends.
So the only solution is to take the fight to the streets, to eliminate those that hide behind desks in office buildings, and if that means crushing any heroes in our way, than so be it. They knew what they got into when they signed up for the job.
I am a dissenter, branded a traitor by the radical viewpoints that prevail in paragon city, just for speaking my mind and trying to make the city a better place. I now make the Rogue Isles my home, and I will speak not using my mind, but with my superpowers instead.
In the end, we will prevail. They will call us villains, but we will make them bow before us.
