"Victory Forum" Global Chat Rules and Guidelines

A few comments / clarifications.
The intent of the channel is for mainly Victory people to chat lightly, discuss game issues, team up, etc. Excessive amounts of non-game chatter so the point where it's impossible for anyone to ask "Anyone need a level 35 blaster?" without getting the question scrolled off the screen in 0.01 seconds will be dealt with.
As will too much influxation of non-Victory people. This is not meant as a general CoH channel. If you aint Victory, you aint squat!

While this is a good idea in theory...
There should be one change to the rules all together. No FLAMING <Period>
The way they read right now it is very subjective to whom is the operator at any given time. I also think that if it to be a truly open channel there should be no operators at all. Free Will if someone says something that pisses you off there is a global ignore. This way no one person can take control of the channel and force their domination on that channel.

If someone signed on and just typed "you're all [censored] you're all [censored]" over and over, what is easier and makes more sense? Forty people putting him on ignore and one person silencing him?

Alright, I have said this before. Some people ask, "Why not just say just don't be an [censored] hat?" For one, some [censored] don't know really when they are being [censored]. Do you think the KKK think they are being [censored] hats? Therefor, it is safer to go into detail. However, you do have a respectful point, but some people realize their own morality at times, including me.

Hahaahhhaaaha....yes yes...we can all agree that extreme racism is bad. But some light racism is usually OK.

Basic Guidelines:
I. The Victory Forum Global Chat is a public GC founded by forum regulars.
II. You are free to invite friends or SG mates into the chat.
III. Handles from other servers are allowed to join, however they are only allowed to chat. For example they should not ask for help on a mission in the public chat.
IV. Feel free to ask an Operator for assistance.
V. This GC is meant for social and game purposes. So try to enjoy yourself.
VI. Finally, respect Operators as well as other members. Jokes are allowed, and in fact encouraged.
Rules of Violation:
I. There will be no constant spamming.
II. No extensive flaming.
III. No extensive slang statements. Such as l33t speak, ect.
IV. Extreme racism will not be tolerated.
V. Do not bring to attention of a person about the chat, who you know will just break the rules.
VI. No power-leveling or influence begging. However, you may ask for influence with a good reason.
VII. Do not spam invite to anyone you see.
Rules for Operators:
I. Do not abuse your power. For example, do not threaten to kick someone if they dont power-level you.
II. Do not randomly kick.
III. Do not permanently silence someone without the consent of the other Operators.
IV. Do not promote another person to Operator status without consent of the other Operators.
V. Respect regular members as equals.
VI. Anyone one that is known to have the intent of bad conduct can be kicked on sight.
These rules can be changed at anytime.
