"Victory Forum" Global Chat Rules and Guidelines

Ok, maybe I'm an idiot, but somethings going on. I got into Victory Forum global chat once. Ever since it doesn't pop up on it's own and when I try to /chanjoin it tells me the Victory Forum channel is down.

Can someone please post up a quick idiot's guide to configuring Global Chat to where it works?

A few things:
*You have to log on to global chat every time you sign on.
*Bondage is good. I have the "c" key bound to join global chat for all characters.
/bind c "chatbeta 1"
*You have to have a tab with that channel added, for each character.

1. did you remember to enable /chatbeta 1 when you logged in? You have to do that EVERY time you log in.

2. The syntax is /chan_join Victory Forum IIRC
3. Make sure the newly created "Victory Forum" channel is attached to a tab. To do this, right click on a tab, like the "Bottom" tab if you still have it, and make sure Victory Forum is in the left list, not the right (if it's on the right, select it and hit the "add" button).
4. Use the Tab button (next to the 1 2 3 4 for the extra windows) to choose "Victory Forum" to actually say something in the forum.

also remember the Victory Forum is in your regular Tabs that include team, local, supergroup, ect.

Sweet, it was the /chatbeta 1 thing. As soon as I did that, everything else came up on it's own.

Thanks guys/gals. At least now I can point my buds to this topic so they can join Victory Chat too.

The Victory forum channel has been quiet the last two days, and that makes me sad.

I may be anti-social, but I prefer to actually have someone to ignore.

sounds like my TV... usually just on for background noise, but something's definitely amiss when it's turned off
