Wolverines claws are much more unique than magnatism but then they don't even have a build in the game for his defense... 100% immune to smashing damage (unbreakable bones) but vulernable to lethal damage (cutting weapons). So you can't really make a clone of him in game either. Sad part is Marvel would could do with checking out CoH for some original heros as opposed to the clone of him they just released LOL.

Not immune to smashing damage. Bone fractures are only one of the effects of blunt trauma; the other sequelae, such as bruising and internal bleeding, don't get any protection from his bones being unbreakable. And concussive trauma, where your brain is slammed back and forth inside your skull from impacts, isn't affected either. So while I'd be willing to concede 50% - 75% resistance to smashing damage, I wouldn't make him immune to it.
"But in our enthusiasm, we could not resist a radical overhaul of the system, in which all of its major weaknesses have been exposed, analyzed, and replaced with new weaknesses."

Last time I checked, the principles of gravity, magnetism, fire, air, earth, water, sound, body, and mind were all still forces of nature. The issue really is more about the character created than the powers used. Marvel isn't suing because you lift heavy things - Marvel is suing because you lift heavy things in ripped purple pants, sporting green skin, built like a weightlifter on steroids, with a name above your toon like The Inflagible Hulck .

Thank you Detour. I was going to point that out myself. But, since you did already, I won't have to.
There I was between a rock and a hard place. Then I thought, "What am I doing on this side of the rock?"
How did this get brought back to life?
No kidding!

Look at that. A full-grown woman pulling off pigtails. Her crazy is off the charts.
Might as well make the thread useful to anyone checking here, that sees the flame. Here's what I think we can expect:
I10 - Hero/Villain Co-op zone in a revamped zone - likely Boomtown, lvl 35-40, with
new Villain group - The Vanguard, a mix of tech and magic guys with wizard-type AVs
The return of Hero - 1 in a mutated state along with this villain group.
Zone updates along the lines of the updates for KR, GC, AP in I7.
Possible return of the Fifth Column in a new form, unknown level range.
Possible second new or revamped co-op zone
New Inventions - Enhancements, Temp Powers, and Costume Pieces, New Veteran Rewards for Month 39-up
Possible new trial or TF
I11 - New Zone, level range unknown, likely 45-50+, likely in space or on moon.
Possible new powerset or possibly powersets
Possible Villain Nictus EAT
Likely new Inventions
I12 - Unkown, possibly powersets and Villain Nictus if we don't see them in I12

Why do I keep hearing this? Boomtown is not 35-40, not even close, it's 10-20. Creys Folly is the Hazard Zone that's over 30. However, if any level that's going to be worked on and downgraded for the Level 35-40 range, that is the Rikti Crash Site.
It's been known to happen, changing the level range. Faultline used to be 13-19, now it's 15-25.
Doom.
Yep.
This is really doom.
Yes, I know, but Faultline was only a slight tweak in levels. Boomtown would be a major change. Plus, doesn't it make more sense that the Crash Site be revamped with Hero1's return?
Also, being the most travel friendly of the Hazard Zones, people already do go to Boomtown. I never see anyone at the Crash Site.
I didn't make the list up because it made sense to me or because it seemed logical. I made it up based on the smattering of Redname posts we've had on the topic and one of them specifically mentioned plans they had to revamp Boomtown after Faultline. Then again, half of everything they've said has been changed, so who knows?
Also, though, just because a Rikti ship crashed in that Crash site years ago, why does that make sense as to where others from the ritki world will enter our world now? Why would they visit the place one random ship crashed over any other site?
Because they're already there? The place is full of Rikti. Anyone who has been there would know that (Oh yeah, no one goes there). Also, I've never read any dev post about Boomtown. Only the next zone that will be revamped will be one no one goes to (I think I've made my case.). The Devs posts I've read stated that the places the devs wanted to do something with were Brickstown Zig (they did that with CoV) and the crashed Rikti ship. What's in Boomtown other than the Freedom Phallanx headquarters which holds Reichsman (a 5th Column villain)?
Edit: Let me also add, that I have doubts that the new zone will likely be the moon zone (at least not in I10). The most popular choice in the polls (from what I read from posts) was not the Moon, but the Rikti homeworld. Practically everyone who posted chose that.

Reichsmann is not a 5th column villain. He is from Axis Amerika and the leader of the Amerika Korps. He is an alternate-reality version of Statesman.
Sorry...just one of those mistaken identities that annoys the tar outta me...

They never released the results as far as I have ever heard. PM's from the Dev's confirmed this some time back.

But if he ever escaped, he would BECOME a 5th Column villain. That's the point he was trying to make.
