Villain Emotes
juggleing with baseball bats
Coin flipping, or some other "habbit" you might see a random villan do when he's nervous. "Crud, he's made it this far into my lair, BUT i still have my secret weapon"! *flipping coin endlessly with one hand*
or Flipping a coin with Lord Rescluse on 1 of the sides and i dunno Reqiuem? on the other
and of course, a hysterical laughter...
How about the civilain panicy run for when the heroes actually do make it past all our defenses?
Has anyone yet suggested an emote having a villain opening up an oversized can with the world "Woop @$$" painted on it?
I dont know if this counts as an emote but if you get hit by a punch in the face have the villian turn his head with the punch and turn slowly back to the hero.. hand ready to fight and look really pissed off.. almost like the punch didnt effect him..... Ive hit someone and had that happen and it scared the hell outta me lol...
1: have a ACME crate apear and have the villian pull out a punching glove gun.. that extends everynow and then.
2:have him throw a banana on ground in front of police and have them fall
3:Have the villian draw out a plan in chalk on a chalk board that appears. "must have on visor while doing this"
4:After a loss.. when they respawn make a cloud with rain appear over their head with the occasionaly lightning to shock them and see bones of course!! lol
5: Have him put his hand under his chin and flick it out at a hero and then procede to spit at him.
6:run up to any citizen and play "mercy" have the citizen scream in pain.. or the vilian depending on lvl
7:My personal favorite..... Have a post with a button appear and a sign apear next to it saying "press to destroy city" have him press it not realizing that there is a electric cord behind it not plugged in.. *scrathes head*
I think the emotes you have now are pretty good, just make them more...villianous.
Instead of 'Dancing' but jumpin' around with your hands in the air, or wiggling your butt with your elbows out, you do pelvis thrusts, headbanging, or breakdancing.
What would also be cool, is if they could do the 'coin toss' with a two headed coin. Dice roll with loaded dice.
Also, a punch - it functions 'like' an attack, but does no damage, and can only target NON enemies. Every good villian knocks his buddies around sometimes. Plus, wouldn't it be fun to play rock paper scizzors, and, after being defeated at the only decide emote you can't cheat at, you just punch them.
Maybe a bit too risque, but...for men, takin' a piss, complete with shakeoff...not taking off the pants, or anything, too complicated, just a fly thing, and you've got to be able to think of some way to not show the junk. We all know what it looks like without it being even close to pornographic. Wouldn't it be fun to pee on your defeated enemies corpse?
thought of another one, along the lines of something someone suggested already (which it seems i did already anyway) - sort of like the hero 'flex' set, a 'joint crack' set that could have neck, in both directions, knuckles, etc. Joint them together however you want to make your villian 'get ready' for action.

I like most so far. I would add:
1) Pointing, then pulling the index finger across the throat (kill/finish him). That or perhaps a Ceasar like thunbs-down gesture)
In Rome, thumbs up meant kill him, thumbs down meant spare him.
As a villain, it will be very important form me to be able to express my feelings by:
-Aggrovated Jumping up/down repeatedly to either show dismay at a hero arresting my minions or to gloat by demonstrate my joy over defeating a hero - I told you to die - good boy... (jump up/down on defeated hero)
It would also be appropriate for me to be able to toss out a calling card.
A primp emote may be needed if I create that all important prema-don type villain.
How about a fake death? Sort of a 'GACK!' clutching of the throat, then falling to the ground in the dead position.
I would just like to hold the at ease position emote while hovering / flying. And for the dance emotes add in a cool break dancing sequence, and to be truly evil.......
River dance
MUAHAHAHAA
kill kittens emote or puppy emotes
HaHa gotta love the >=l eyebrow look
Only have seen a handful of people really pull taht off in real life, including myself
Not sure if this was said but one that has you reach out toward a targeted hero and say "*targeted hero name* I am your father/mother".
Another could be temper tantrum. Your Villian starts stumping around in a circle while saying "wahhhhhhhhh"
Some great ideas!
Definitely liking the 'finger across throat,' 'hand down finger wagging "Take him away" / "dismissed" emote,' 'Dr Evil pinkie to lips,' and 'Mr Burns "Exxxcellent!"' suggestions.
Hovering / Flying in a standing posture with arms crossed is just a requirement. The standard 'Magneto' flying posture.
An evil hiss would be cool, perhaps with Christopher Lee/Dracula style crouch and arms-raised, and for the truly irredeemably evil-to-the-core, the Penn & Teller 'kitten-toss' (he seems to pull a kitten out of his cape, belt-pouch, whatever, and toss it absently behind him).

;SHuffle Kind of dances in place feet shuffling back and forth in a boxing stance

The shuffle-step Morpheus does in the Matrix, during his training session with Neo is perfect for this.
With 367 replies, it's amazing no one suggested sitting emotes.
;throne throne with the emblem of the villain appears.
;wine villain sits sipping on the wine, then throws it away (Castlevania)
;slouch slouches against a chair looking bored.
And basically all the emotes mentioned in the previous post in sitting version.

Actually, that's not what happened in Rome. the only historical reference to thumbs used in this manner referred to "pressed thumb". The first Hollywood movie to depict such a scene decided to have the thumb point down. Historans believe that a down-pointing thumb would more likely be an indicatation to sheathe one's sword. So, Hollywood and Historians disagree. We may never know what really happened in the gladiatorial arena.
(I haven't told this story for a while and I may have fudged a bit. The real story should be very close to this however)
Maniacal laughter with upraised fists
One hand pointing at someone, other arm out to the side, elbow bent, hand up, making a fist (The 'You shall pay' stance)
Recluse's pose on the cover of the new CoH comic, issue #1.
Half turn (180 degrees) with arms folded over chest, looking over the left shoulder.
The warwolf howl.

How about a sit emote that has us sitting in the cliche high back evil chair?
Then we could swivel around in it. And then, when we stand up, rather than just having it fade away, have it fall backwards and then fade away.
Also have the chair in customizable colors (or maybe just use the existing chest detail colors with our chest detail on the back of it?) Oh, and maybe you can figure out a way to put a shape similiar to the existing shoulder pads on it to give it a customizable shape. (Like if you have the spiny-organic shoulder pads, your chair could also look spiny and organic.)

Take a dash of Illuminati, add a sprinkle of Mafia and just a touch of Omnipresnce and a healthy helping of mob violence...

MOVE.... ALONG....
Go. Hunt. Kill Heroz.
I'm still reading the list, so I don't know if it's been said:
How about picking up and dancing with the "defeated" hero?
Don't know what it's from but I remember some bad guy dancing with an unconcious (or dead) victim.
I think a 'Psht!' emote, a la Austin Powers, would be fun.
