In the tutorial if you defeat 100 contaminated thugs you get the ISOLATOR badge. Sad, yes that i would defeat that many, but I had to see if it was true! 
Also just found out, they have changed the Patriot badge. It is no longer located near the good OLE Red White and Blue. Instead it now reads "You have located the statue of Cassiopeia, a Heroine recognized as a citzen of every country on Earth after she singe-handely saved the world from a rogue comet.
Im curious as to why they changed it, but I think that would be better off in another post as im sure it would become quite the topic.

Supposedly, they changed it because people were complaining about having to stand next to the U.S. flag to be called a "Patriot." You're right though, any discussion about this has probably found it's own thread by now.
Also, I'd like to note that the locations for "Brawler" and "Bird Watcher" in GC are mixed up in MLBrandow's and brett9000's compilation lists. The directions still point to badges, but they're backwards

Just a guess but since all the other "first sighting of hero" badges have been on roofs or other high places then maybe Blue Shield is too?
It is interesting if you map out the locations of the tourism badges you will find that they run north to south in both ap and gc (for the 9 out of 10 found so far) in the order as extracted from the piggs.
Theoretically it means blue shield should be south of bird watcher and north of Brawler ... narrowing the search down to about 1/3 of the map. However this is only a theory and I cannot be held responsible if it is found outside this area.
(btw i am aware that this doesn't work will all zones, however it would be a safe guess to think that gc and ap were coded first and therefore patterns like this may not be entirely unreasonable.

I apologise, I must have an old list. I thought it was the most recent one in this thread, but I could be mistaken.
I have a question about heart of the hamidon badge. To get it..I just basically have to jump at the center of hamidon? By that giant purple nucleus?
Haven't seen any updates on badges. I know all the plaques have been found now so that accounts for all 13 history badges. We've tracked down most of the exploration badges and figured out how to get most of the acheivement and accomplishment badges. Accolades are still up in teh air for now understandably. I've got all the badge information I've scoured from this and the plaques thread (and a bit from PMs and a couple other threads where badge info was given) put inot a database and will hopefully have the 'front-end' website for it up and functional soon (wihin a couple of days). I've got about half of the plaques entered into it as well.
What I need is information on the other badges that we've not located yet and the text descriptions for many of them (I've collected about 69 badges so far, mostly exploration ones).

Not only that, but they keep making me think of the Galactic Ley Line from Outlaw Star 
Yeah, I've been suspecting all the Ley Line and Mystic badges tie into the 'Eye of Magus' accolade. Probably have to deal with the CoT and BP villain badges as well. I can't think of any History badges that dealt with magic really other than perhaps the Spanky Rabinowitz one.
The patriot badge seem to have moved somewhat, no longer up by the flag, but you can get it just by entering City Hall and moving towards the statue by the SG registration desk.
