Finally use the BOW not fancybow emote before your toon relaxes with the weapon drawn.
[/ QUOTE ]
Sorry i was wrong it is the fancybow emote and not the regular bow emote...
[/ QUOTE ]
I know this definately %100 worked with the bow emote because my katana scrapper has it bound to a key. Haven't used her in a long time though. (fancy bow is not appropriate for a katana trained person while bow is) I'll have to log her in just to try this, if I remember . . .

I saw someone today doing a sit emote but their legs were out straight and flat and they were leaning back on their hands. It's what The Lost do when they are sitting around listening to speeches.
Does anyone know how to do this?
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, this is a bit of a goofy one really. It's not an emote, but a bind. (srry if this has already been answered, I didn't read through everything)
/bind o "e sit$$ e dance"
Now as long as you pound the "o" key, you'll stay seated this way. As soon as you let up you'll stand again. It's really just the sit emote getting immediately interupted.
Too bad, cause it'd be a neat new sit emote if you didn't have to pound that darn key.
(I'm at work, shhhh!, so I'd test this if I could)
Can you bind an emote and set it to auto fire like a power? Wondering if that would let us do that lean back and sit emote without pounding the bind key.
People often pelt me with a snowball when I aggro and they aren't happy about it...What emote is that?

That would be a temp power gained from killing snow men (Winter Lord, or WL, and his minions) during the Winter Event.
And I tried out my katana scrapper last night, and it is fancybow with weapon drawn. But its seems to be about a 50% chance to do the firing bow animation or the actually coutly bow. It DID 100% definately do it for the "bow" emote in the past! I had it bound! I swear! I'm not crazy!!! Well, not in the imagine things that aren't there way . . . well . . . things like that, that aren't there . . . never mind . . .
Bow used to do it before the new emotes were released IIRC.
Anyway, no you can't autofire an emote/bind without a 3rd party program.

I was told that you bind a key to dance and key to sit and you hit them rapidly to achieve this emote.
now i saw someone standing, looking staright in the air, with thier hands at thier sides, and fists clenched....how do you do that one? it looked like they were about to blast off but they just stood there!
Seems like a lot of posts disapeared from this thread . . . there was an explanation of the snowball temp power, and a bunch more . . . strange
EDIT: never mind, just realized I am crazy, and can't delete a post . . .

I believe this is the relaxed position that your toon auto adopts when there is no direction input from the key board... and they aren't in combat mode...
[ QUOTE ]
The leaning sit apparently just has the character model get up from that position after a fraction of a second pause within it. So just in case anyone thought you could sit down and rest like that- it's not so. I haven't asked them how to do it, either. There are a few elitist groups that hide things like that and I tend not to try and get involved with any one of them.

you hit dance and sit simultaniously

Or, someone may have DCed while they were holding the +up button they had...Resulting in the "I'm going up" animation, but since they weren't REALLY going up, they just appeared to be straigh verticle in the air...
[ QUOTE ]
I don't recall EXACTLY how this is done, but it only works with ATs who have weapons, and might only work on some of them.
IIRC its something like: do bow, pull out weapon, do bow, put weapon away, do bow again.

Sorry if it's already been clarified on... didn't read thru all the pages. I've been able to pull off that Bow & Arrow emote with a fair ammount of regularity with my scrapper using the Confiscated Beanbag gun he got from a freaks mish...
Just whip out the gun, wait a sec... and /e fancybow
That's how I do it anyway.
I had also figured out a REALLY weird emote using the Nemesis staff and claws somehow... but I don't remember how. Was weird. One of his claws came off his hand, and floated in air, and he motioned as if he was pulling a sword out of the ground... odd.

Seiza... and yes, it's horribly uncomfortable.
[/ QUOTE ]
You get used to it. You just have to do it all the time, everywhere, so that by the time you go to your next karate/kendo/etc. class, you can pretend it doesn't hurt.
[/ QUOTE ]
Ha...get used to it you do. In Aikido, you get to learn new adventures in pain when you not only sit seiza for long periods of time, but also eventually move on to suwari waza, techniques used from the kneeling position. To do this, you actually learn a technique called shikko where you walk in a kneeling position.
Watch any samurai movie with action indoors and you'll see lots of it...drawing the sword while kneeling..moving quickly.
My toes would sometimes ache for days after long nights of shikko based techniques. But then again, I could actually get to an opponent 15 feet away in about 3 seconds without leaving my knees....lol
aiki
yea, it wasnt the natural position, they were looking straight up... and i know they werent dc because they kept chatting saying "lookie what i can do"...darn they wouldn't share though!
I had that happen to me the other day! I was flying and got stuck in the fly up possition. Stayed that way till I turned fly off. I remembered the post here and I though "ah, so this is what it was"
Would happen with hover I guess too.
What confuses me is that I always lose at a game of dice with my friend, he tells me he is able to choose the number he rolls on dice, even being able to roll a 7, what emote is this.. eh?
this doesn't sound right... you shouldn't be able to pick the number or even roll a 7... he may have edited a file in the piggs to allow him to do that or has a third party program allowing him to do that...
btw sitting in the relaxed position like the lost requires repeatedly hitting a bound key to do the sit emote interrupted by the dance emote...
eg... /bind v "e sit$$e dance"
repeatedly hit "v" to stay sitting...

When I use this code I go into the regular sitting position without the arms propped on the ground. Any suggestions?
Also, I have one to add: /e cower causes you to cringe and tremble in fear.
it's possible that the ability to interrupt emotes with another emote has been removed from the game making it impossible to do the relaxed lounging position...

That would only affect what he sees too. I think he's lying or talking about something else, like the number cards.
I have been adding a bunch of emotes from a bunch of different sites that have em and checkin them one by one...some that are said to not work though work fine on mine but if u guys wanna know my list it doesnt really copy here correctly so go to http://khaostheorysg.com/commands

Okay does anyone know the one they use whe you exit a mission in CoV (you're looking around checking to see if anyone has witnessed your crime) anyone know what that one is?
[/ QUOTE ]
I don't know that one exactly, but I think the "peerin" emote will do that same checking around inbetween the "peering inside" part of the emote. I suppose if you're not close to a window you can pretend you're looking through binoculars...
