  1. mmk, went ahead had PLed someone 1-50 last night to see how the resent change effected everything.

    Took 3:19. Exactly 14 arcs, 70 missions, of FIRE! (ID# 423253)

Load times were included, they had an average of 6 in 7 out. Which means there was about....15 minutes of load times i think. I honestly couldnt believe how fast they were.

Thats down from about 2 hours and 9.5 arcs.
  2. U have way too many powers from your primary than you are going to need. At least if SJ/ is anything like it was on beta. Like the first combo breaker (a crappy cone) and the weaker of the level one powers.

Also yes, for the love of god get lightning field and powersink.

    Vet powers?

Yes, and the post Arcanaville quoted is a day old.

Was he talking about something he saw years ago? i.e. long before the stances were added to the game. That is what i thought you meant.

I'm not sure anyone ever said that actually.

This is a casual-friendly game. When PUGs still regularly fail these and others aren't even bothering with the challenges, then yes, they are harder than they should be.
Well, considering MOs are supposed to be some of the hardest badges in the game to get i think they are in the right spot. Lets not forget that iPowers have made them EASIER already. I actually did an MoSTF once and everyone was just bored because it was so easy. And I would think only half of that team could solo an ITF, so imo they werent even "good."

Oh, and my SG has one active player in it...

If anything they need to introduce new badges that have us run TFs on even harder settings. Maybe add buffed and debuffed, and no insp or something.

I'm sorry but these badges just arent that hard to get at all anyway.

This, when someone wants to "do it all" that to me means EVERYTHING.

    2. Someone is too lazy or arrogant to follow instructions and blows the badge for the rest
Both of these arent valid points imo. I actually test out my toons and see how they will do with really bad lag, in fact i think the best toons are the ones that are still good.

Really? someone is lazy? Thats the best you can come up with?

I will say this tho, a lot of the MOs get HARDER the more people you add.
  10. SS/SD brute, just dont like SC's low dmg cap

    SS/WP brute, lack of dmg

    DM/SR brute, lack of dmg

ill/cold, i just dont like the play style.

    list goes on and on

They are pretty freakin cool looking but you gotta use points to get them if you dont already have them.
  12. apex, so unimpressive i havent even tried to solo. most half decent pugs should be able to do this if they tried.
    ITF, soloed
    Kahn, soloed
LGTF (hami is the only thing that makes it tough, and i cant solo it...)
    cuda
baf (its *kinda* hard but not really)
underground, the first 2 UG trials i did on live just happened to be for this.
    LRSF
    States
    lambda

keyes, this stands out as the hardest by far. Some people are just too slow to move out of a green patch.

    • Master of Lady Grey's Task Force

i totally disagree with this. The the thing that makes it tough is that you have to work as a team and make sure you AND your allies does die. I agree with green stuff and dodger

    MARTy and AE

Yep, it doesnt affect AE farming on live. Originally (during open beta) it would kick in tho, thankfully that was changed.

So 4 points should carry you through all the PVE content with only minor issues that can pretty much be ignored, then if you want to run incarnate content I would recommend bumping up your protection to 12 points at least - but I don't see any need for more than that.
    Yep

...it already was enough. and (for the critters on my map at least) regen didnt increase anythings survivablity AT ALL. Granted, not giving minions a rez would have likely been good (i actually did that for a short while but people didnt like it)

Either way, im already working on testing and optimizing my map for these changes. I would not be suprised if we end up even faster.

Overall its not as fun as it used to be, but its not that much slower.

    Back to Lib TV.

Mmk, did some tests, AE still pwns.
  17. I thought that test was outdated

This slows down not onlys ticket gain, slightly, but also how quickly you can PL someone.
  19. I dont farm a lot anymore but this was my reaction.

Gonna need to change the FIRE! map tho today
  20. Yep, dont bring greens, they ******* suck and that is were you are running into ur problem.
Bring a few purples (2-3) and a ton of reds.

I find it interesting that you go that route. I've yet to experience any true lows for the WS that I are really any different than any other character I've leveled, minus the vunerability to quantams which can be annoying.
Well, if a toon is going to be the best at every thing that means they will run into a situations that arent optimal. And if a toon cant keep up high performance lvls then its not that great in my opinion. And this is something that can happen to a WS too easily for me to say they are the best.
