Quote:That would be a laugh.Slotting the Chance To Stun proc in stamina, and randomly stunning yourself. Drunken blaster? Heck yea!
Back when Bane Spiders first came out, if you didn't change your costume when you first got the mace, it wouldn't appear at all. Due to the sweeping attack animations, it looked like you were punching things. ASSASSIN'S DONKEY PUNCH!
No praise for the sideways skirt bug?
There was a base bug that I wish i had the prestiage to use at teh time, getting the other sides guns etc. -
Quote:You get back crafting cost for IOs. Normally is is extremly low value for what the IO is worth on wentworths/black market, though in cases like Sleep IOs you get more back during a respec than purchase price at WW/BM.There's no way it would have said 168M. Only items that can be vendored are given a price during a respec. You slot everything you had before and 10 enhancements can get kept. The rest get vendored; anything that is not normally salable gets sold for 0 inf.
Only HOs/sHOs are not assigned any value.

Quote:In my experience, there is always more people on global channels on Virtue during Oceanic peak times than the Justice ones. And for holiday times when you get to play during our day time, its bonus mad teamage time.
Looking for more occasional folks to run with than anything else
Try Virtue tfs 2010 & VU2010 global channels and see for yourself what its like. You can of course join those channels and lurk without having a character there to compare. -
The WW is almost always the first one I get. But I used to buy the 10,000 inf TPer a lot too.
The revive is pretty good. If you can get to the dead one before they wakie up. Really good for cross faction too as you cant pass inspires.
My doms tend to get the timelord one once level 35 (Cim+Ouro).
The bonus vanguard merit is nice too fr those of use who dont see many raids, every merit counts. -
I wish I got the chance to see the lag first hand :|
I'd like the event to run 24 hours -
wow - a lot less enthusiasm and more cynicism than I expected ... though I echo 'why facebook?'
It will be copypasta'd here so not that big a deal if it does generate more interest from non City folk. -

I'd prefer a new server where this happened for free. Make it the PvP server. Offer free transfer to it for a week or so.
It would at least stop those who exploit AE on thier way to get those 50's from saturating the market with ticket won goods.
Then we could see how busy that server was compared to others, and theres even a chance that the 'PL'd Noobs' vanish from teams as they are on the PL server.
Personally I'd hate it. The characters that I had on test that got zapped to 50 bored me pretty quickily. -
You wont see the most common IOs in set bonues ie generic enhancements.
-
The do it yourself SG base is easist way atm but still requires another person.
-
I'm still happy they increased hover speed.
I would like a little extra flight speed myself but *shrug* its great when recruiting for more PUG members as you can type and move at same time.
Another disadvantage of Ninja Run is that it's a temp power, so no good for Master runs.
A advanatage is the stacking siphon speed/inertial barrier with it -

Quote:I would still much rather an inherent that was useful solo.People are going to take some damage unless you're steamrolling so badly that it doesn't even matter whether you have an end discount or not. 90% HP isn't exactly failure.
Recently during the DP beta I remember a lot of people with defenders coming to the initial conclusion that Dual Pistols was under-costed to an overpowered degree because they weren't used to Vigilance on large teams. -
Quote:I put it in brawl as well, end free knock down chanceIt's a good one. I like to put it into Brawl, which turns Brawl into a semi reliable Air Superiority.
Also, level does not matter with this one, since no matter the IO level, it is active as long as the power it is in is available.
Didnt know the level didnt matter - been spending more than I need to get it lower level doh! -
They don't delete your character, and do give you a name change option - i think you have to mail in suggestions.

Being able to maxmise the window.
(havent tried this with lastest build tbh) -
A very good tutorial, well done.
Excellently presented. It should be posted in guides sections as well.
I agree with most of what you have written, my nitpicks would be:
* Change Wentowrths to consigment house. The same statergies work blueside and redside. Though port oakes is better than mercy for this, redside lacks the ease of Atlas/Wents/Vendor.
* At the make your first million section, as well as selling SOs you can make inf from junk recipes. Redside its worth filling up salvage trays as not uncommon to get stacks of it for 11 inf. You should be add to each run's inf.
* At mid levels, do sell some recipes when you have slots, even for low prices. You get extra lots for selling 250/1000/3000/5000/7000 items, and extra slots is goodThe 250 isnt hard to achieve. Even my lowbies will pop a few inspirations for 11 inf if i have a slot spare.
* If you havent been able to level via task forces (espically redside) or prefer solo play, you should do story arcs. Ouroboros after lvl 25 will make sure you can do arcs and gain merits.
* Selling purples, you will get a lot of opinons on this. I find I'm able to sell them, and if I want it later, I buy it, often for less than I sold it for (sell high, buy low). Storing pruples can be an issue without a trusted base.
* I'm still undecided about random rolls. Rolling 200 at once in the ranges of 30-39 nearly always pays off better. If its the only 200 merits your character will see, then harder to trust, but if you are doing TFs regularly, and havent started slotting your own character yet, you can get a few useful for yourself plus a good seller. -
The costume - meh not similar at all & hope you get tokens to change back or have saved them yourself. But Izual is an unique name you should of been expecting the generic bat for.
-
I'm happy that there is less 'need' to grind or PL to 50 just to unlock more character generation choices.
I don't mind that I did it the old fashioned way, and others won't. -
Sure, just understand that it doesnt take a lot of time with pratice.
You describe it like it must be time consuming process when it isn't. Really. Its not anywhere near as labourious as you make it sound.
Basically the line about 'playing the game' ignores that inventions are part of the game.
I assumed you werent going for ++, thats why I said 2 million every 3 levels, they run out every 3 dont they? as you can tell I dont use them and just thought they did run out every 3.
As I found out when on test and having to SO my character, that took me a long long time. I would of done it much much quicker via IOs.
You are way off with prices for IOs, no doubt as you are not used to them. I rarely pay mre than 100k for any generic IO unless I want it right now and not overnight. Butthats offline time, not game time which I use playing the game -
2 million every 3 levels from level 27 (?) would add up, or do you update more often?
But though mostly just teasing, theres an old adage that rich people can save more money than poor people by buying better to start with.
I understand you find it irrating to buy IOs.
