I can't figure WHY they do that, it't not like they have to pay for shipping or anything...

Off-topic: I can't even buy game time in the NC Store with neither international credit card nor pay pal, so I'm forced to buy them piecemeal every two months and apply the time manually (and they're overpriced, to add insult to injury). Have to be real careful with stuff like the Vanguard Pack, so I don't slip for a day and end up loosing it.

    Sorry for the whinning...
Dont blame you for griping. Maybe an anonyismer proxy would help? - Gives yoiu an US IP address.
  2. Villians and Vigilantes hold the most treasured place for a super hero game for me. More for nostaliga than content/ruleset as I wasn't much into the metagame analysis when I started playing it, it was just a whole lot of fun.

AHh back in the days playing D&D, T&T and V&V. All a game needed was two similar initials.

Had a lot of fun with marvel super heroes at high school - werent allowed to play D&D (was at the height of the D&D = satan worship) but was allowed to spend friday afternoon classtimes playing MSH as it was a game promoting literacy and numeracy

The http://www.classicmarvelforever.com/cms/ site has a heck of a lot of resources, including PDFs of the rules in downloads section. Everything you could need if you wanted to play a campaign of it. Its unearthly good.
  3. It's worth noting that not only do you need to do your mission with help from a villian/etc, you need to help a villian with thier mission before you can get DJ Zero's missions.

That really should be in the contact text.
  4. No doubt about Kotchie, sounds like you are a horror story.

its a decent question really instead of looking for the OP powersets i'm looking for the ones that don't get the love.

right now i have been working on my ele/ele dom which my SG leader was telling me why having ele/ele was a bad choice when i could've done better and i told him this character i started when GR came out and was working on it for awhile this toon is currently only 33 but its fun to play and he told me i need soul for my epic pool for whatever reason. but after soloing a mish or two i didn't really see an issue but back to the question at hand.
    1) Always play what you want to play. If your SG gives you a hard time (as oppossed to advice) then find another SG.
    2) You can have lots of alts.

That fits my average - often at +0x4 and getting a shard every couple of missions.
  7. (haven't read all the thread)

Got to say I think 100 million is peanuts. You'd probably get that vendoring the common recipes that drop on the way to 88 shards.

Glad to see a solo path. Depending on how shards drop from less than 50 foes could make 88 much easier than people expect. Otherwise seems a bit excessive, but doable for a main character if you can't do SF/TFs
  8. I hate leading a TF that I havent done slowly before.
  9. The only lacking thing for low pop servers I can see is that you cant enter a mission without leaving the queue.

Be nice (but doubt the tech there to make possible) if you could remain on it while solo in missions - so you have something besides street sweeping while waiting - but dont disapeear on your team.
  10. I regularly steal power ideas from CoX for my homebrew RPGs, does that count

Ummm you still get your vet rewards, and no one else who hasnt paid for same time also get them.

You do know you only get vanguard pack & badge for the staying subscribed over the set period, not any of the vet rewards.

My very first STF and we get to ghost Widow. the team has hit a speed bump. I get the bright Idea to hit bloody bay for a fresh pack of shivans. about 15 minutes later the team is back on GW overwhelming her with green jello. the rest was cake thanks to someone explaining the battle plan.
You can get the shivan mission while on a taskforce? Thats awesome.

1: Assassin Strike should offer some kind of debilitating debuff against AVs/EBs/GMs. Stalkers don't necessarily need to do more damage, but when they take the time to attack the vitals of a powerful opponent it should hinder them drastically. If it were up to me, I would basically attach [Benumb] to the bonus damage from Assassin Strike, but limit it to a 5-10 second duration.
    I really like this idea.
  14. I hope once joined you stay connected to the team like standard TFs. I gave up on Hami and mothership raids mostly because I'd get DC's and be unable to reneter the zone.

Same. And almost every character of mine will love the double merit goodness instead of only my few 50's getting the chance.

I'm expecting a TF frenzy making IP last week look underwhelming.

Plus my computer handles the older TF/SFs better.
  16. I tried to get it when it was $10 to gift to a friend, but couldn't pass the human test.

    Selective quoting for the fail.

If you don't understand that the incarnate process is a new level cap process then you're probably willfully not wanting to acknowldge it, and there's no point dicussing it.

Between regular set bonusses and team buffs I can't really say that I notice the difference all that much. Solo I only really notice it when going against +4's (who are now only +3) But I don't run that high usually anyway.
    You are level 50 + 1 level = 51st level.

What's hard to understand? Incarnate is a level shift, level 51.

Thanks for your effort and time! Your comments were very useful.

Re "Any particular reason you didn't take radiant strike?"

Only due to no being in human form much. Just to drop the seekers or the (feeble) stun.

    PB Build Help

    *semi-hopefully bump*

No advice to better my build?
  22. The global channels are really important.
I tend to tell people I see getting fustrated by broadcasting only for a team about them, or anytime advicew flies about for new players.

The /ttl seems a bit buggy im my experience, often going to the same (non leader) person anyway.

    Mids question

Titan Sentinel is made by the CoH titan network team, and found at http://cit.cohtitan.com

It lets you export a build from the game (assuming you use windows) and open it in Mids.

    edit:

You should be able to go back with MIDS to remove mistakes. You may need to click the power you selected by mistake to remove it.

Right clicking on an IO slot will let you set the level.
