im sick of these stupid updates, no offense to the devs its great wat ur doin but as a PAYING VIP CUSTOMER, we should be gettin more leeway here than the rest, im not paying for this if u r gunna continue taking up so much time in one day and now u need 8 hours today, well this is beyond a joke, i am truly upset that i cant even log on to play 4 atleast an hour before i go to look after my nephew, as i hav said i pay to play, i couldnt care less bout the freeloaders , if you continue to take my gameplay time away from me without as much as pre warning then i want my money back and ill happily play a different game such as champions online.
its almost like buying a brand new car but u cant have the damn thing cos THEY wanna service it 4 so many of untold days.
serious sort it out cos u will lose alot of serious players and all ull have left are the freeloading players who get better quality service than us, unbelievable. -
im interested, will bring whatevers needed, most probably my psi/psi blaster.
-
Earthwyrm, yes you are very right and i have implemented the changes, wasting 2 bill plus on a defense is ludicrous now that i have some light shed on this matter, gettin all 6 types to sc is way more important and better, if needed i could pop purps to meet the required sc for psi if needed, appreciate the advice thank you.
Pine i understand what you say now and reading over it is nice to know your way of addressing the issues in your own unique way, thanks for the help. -
EarthWyrm i have taken your critiscm constructively and will implement these changes, thats been a big help, i knew i mustve did something wrong, will post the build once im done,in response to Pine, if you dislike my choices maybe you should explain why rather than waste a post based on what you "dislike" and maybe give constructive critiscism as did EarthWyrm who explained in a more respective manner, thank you.

phase is a set mule for the lotg recharge
in response, the dark set is good , as i say its always best by opinion and experience, no set is better than the next, its all how it falls into place for ur playing style and dark seems to work for u
i always pick fire cos it goes with my thesis for the character i produce, i have not tried dark yet, sounds like a good set. -
they have specifically addressed that beam rifle is NOT at all in any shape or form anything like dual blades or street justice, infact the street justice system is completely different to both beam rifle and dual blades and should not be confused as the same system, as described the street justice system is that you have build up moves and 3 finishes, you build up to execute finishers, beam rifle is a big-tohit set that increases in damage the more you use, which would synergise well with kinetics if there were to be an aoe power too, hope this clears up the confusion.

mu set is a good option, however its not always essential, having the pyre set is just as good, so long as ur damage is up all times and you constantly keep buffing, heres my fire/ss/pyre build, i currently use and it is amazing in my opinion.

Well i just made a build with elec armor kinetic melee but with mu set instead and heres the finished product, for teaming and or farming use its a good all around set, what you think anyways?
http://www.cohplanner.com/mids/downl...07FE01959EDA11 -
sounds good, however, with invul, you can really cram alot of defense into it, it would be suprising if you can do that on elec, im interested in this build of yours
-
hey Organcide
your right its an expensive build and in all honesty i couldnt find another way to make it cheaper and work well which is why im hoping the new overhauled set will be better in terms of defense and overrall versatility, i imho love the set and it is a cracking brute set which i cant wait for the tanker version -
Ok so energy aura is being remade as we speak, ive heard some really good changes however it concerns me that such a set needs to be redone, for instance, i dont see whats wrong with the set, i have created a build, which to me looks like a good sturdy defensive build softcapped to every damage type bar negative and psionics, both which are 42% ish, so please have a look at the build, and give your thoughts
http://www.cohplanner.com/mids/downl...AEFF012D03D80D -
i see thanks for the heads up, i will redo my build n post it again
-
Again tweaking around with mids someone gave me the idea for fire aura and elec melee for farming and team play.
so if anyone can maybe tweak the build and give good feedback id really appreciate it
i just want to know if its a solid build.
thanks.
http://www.cohplanner.com/mids/downl...E2F90B3C75F7AE -
doesnt a bit of both help tho? that was the general consensus when going for defense, i still think its a solid build no doubt
-
right, i have sorted out the accuracy in dark regen looks better than it was before, and i have sorted out the kb and put in acrobatics which seems like a good choice, not fully softcapped positional but melee and ranged at 44.2 and 44.9 its the best yet with all the other improvements, the other things like damage in freezing touch is purely to boost defense and lockdown is a good set to use 4 the positional, ideally according to numbers greater ice sword is good on damage, however, i chose this purely for persona reasons as it fits well with my character having a big sword that does maybe a tiny bit more damage than the other sword, theres alot to consider here since some suggestions are based upon good reasons such as accuracy on dark regen, however the choice of swords is personal choice and i feel more comfortable with thise choice, please look at this build and see if its better or good, thank you
http://www.cohplanner.com/mids/downl...DAFF0B10B7D1A2 -
wow i really appreciate the help guys really good improvements to the build, i will take what you suggested and implement it asap, apart from greater ice sword, ideally it does more damage than ice sword no?
as for the dark regen thats a really good point.
i need accuracy, thats a must, i chose 6 slotted build up because of the defense push it gives, otherwise i lose some of it.
would like to see what ppl think of this -
So i began to wonder what sets arent in use much these days in terms of versitility and great combination and came across this, dark armour and ice melee.
Odd combo i know but its affective and as a tanker, your primary objective is to take the heat.
so damage wise its not amazing but effective and fits well with the persona im going for as dark armor to me can be the frost aura.
so heres the build, any suggestions or feedback will be appreciated so long as i dont get pathetic responses
thanks for your time.

i have to say this, a dark/ice toon is a really good option and is in my opinion better than invul, dark is underrated and probably the strongest def set after granite, heres my build to prove this.

Here's a build i just made for those who like ice armor alot, not much to say but its softcapped for energy negative smashing and lethal also psionics just barely, the build might not be everyones choice but it is a solid all rounder and can withstand alot, i did not take hibernate for many reasons, chilling embrace either, hibernate because alot of people were saying that due to the new patch enemies now wait until you are out of hibernation that they attack then, also in my experience taunt is also good to keep foes around you and does a good job aswell as chilling embrace, as i said not to everyones cup of tea, but check the build out n see for yourself, by all means give feedback and let me know how it gets on, it is an expensive i will note, but with lightning rod down to 23 seconds, perma hoarfrost and 14 second recharge on EA plus perma hasten its a really good tanker if used right.
http://www.cohplanner.com/mids/downl...96FE01B423E124 -
yeah i meant bar, i do apoligise, in light of the comment about conserve power, it does come in handy as my end sucks big time, however to soft cap psi with purple 6 slot unbound allegiance i believe is the set u reffered to? sounds like an amazing idea, i will definitly redo my build now thank you for your help and suggestions guys, appreciate it alot
-
i said everything par, which everything except melee ranged and aoe is softcapped, clearly they are not softcapped and psionic is close , 40% maybe you misread what i said but i never intentionally meant it in that way.
-
its ok, i think i bought 1 recipe wrong which deflated the defense, thanks anyway guys
-
its not invincibility! if you look at my build you will see everything par mellee ranged and aoe is soft capped, in game it is not, my question is how do i rectify this problem?
-
i cant seem to download titan sentinal, it just says in game my defense is like 34% when it should be more than that really
-
Right i have made an invulnerability and superstrength tanker on mids, however, when i set out all the IO's on him his numbers didnt quite match, can anyone help me, its a really good build n im proud to get 40% psi defence on an invul tank, someone tell me what i have may have done wrong??
thanks
