$6000 for Emperor 1500 and $46000 for Emperor 200. Although the Emperor 200 is cooler, not sure why it costs $40000 more.

I wish they went with the jump 4 years into the future instead of the Matrix. Probably right about "the crew suspects" with the "let's find and rescue them" plots, but I don't see it going for more than five episodes.

And this is proof that one person can make a difference even if the person made an incredibly stupid decision. The only other possibility was that he was paid off by Lucas.

Does anyone know if April Fool's jokes from other MMO are against the rules?
The Old Republic announced the Ship Droid System for their next major patch. Now you can interact with the crew, repair the ship, cook meals for the crew, and other exciting tasks that only droids have the stomach for. -
Also the Bajorans must have not met the Federation before the occupation. Considering the day that the news occurred makes me doubt it immensely. Although [shudder]J.J. Abrams[/shudder] is supposed to be director so it is possible that he will continue to destroy established canon. Might even see Kirk go up against Q and the Borg.

I'd buy myself an island in the Caribbean and start my Evil Headquarters. Granted, I'd be on a budget for the first few years till the evil really starts trickling in. Maybe I could wear a shiny mask. Blue uniforms are good too. Snakes are scary, maybe I could work them in there somehow... -

TMNT is not TMNT without the ooze. Can't even consider them as turtles if they are aliens. This is almost as bad as making Wonder Woman a guy, Batman's parents still living, or Superman human.

Nice. It airs on my brother's birthday, but I don't know if he has seen the movie or interested in it, but it might be a couple of years before his oldest daughter is interested in it since I think she is 4.

Haven't seen it yet, but teleportation usually involves reading the person to be teleported and having a beam of energy travels through space and forms the person in another location or the person travels through a high enough dimension which doesn't involve being transformed into a beam of energy. The first method would have the original stay and a duplicate travels to another location while the second has no change to the physical and mental makeup of the person.
If the movie uses the first method, then the teleportation device could have created a VR simulation of the world or at least the nearby area and sky to use as a menu for determining destination. That would explain the astral projection and why looking at the sky transported him to another planet.
There is the possibility that just his consciousness was transferred so his body stayed home and his consciousness inhabited a blank slate. It could also be that he just got knocked out and it was all in his head. -
I heard that Batman's Utility Belt contains wormholes that connect to one of his warehouses so the question people need to ask is what doesn't Batman carry in his utility belt. Of course, what he brings out is limited in size so he can't bring out a Tank, but he could bring out the components to assemble a Tank.

No wonder this sounded familiar. Atomic Robo is created by the same guy that did 8-bit theater and Atomic Robo was one of the comics advertised there.

Quote:This might relate to your problem.Real3D 3D can actually trigger these headaches for me, depending on how badly done it is. So I avoid 3D films for the most part.

Only the belt buckle screams Batman. Cool armor though.

Just have an alternate universe version of Captain Marvel take over Captain Marvel's role. Enough of a difference to make him not the exact same as Captain Marvel, but close enough to make people believe he is an alternate version.

It is not missing. It is just being covered up.

Heroes, Babylon5, and others gone on too long and if Chuck had another season or two, then it would suffer from the same effect as those shows. Shows like Defying Gravity, Stargate Universe, Firefly, and Dark Angel still had momentum and should have lasted for longer.

Quote:Controversial singers are more well-known due to their controversy, but they are controversial due to their style than due to their politics. There is also the fact that not all of a singer's songs are politically controversial so my point still stands. A singer needs to work to become a political controversy and unless I listen to an artist's songs, then I can't make that call. You seem to imply that there is no controversy because she was a singer. That is irrelevant. She, as an individual, was an inspiring, rather than controversial, figure. Profession is irrelevant. If the singer in question were Marilyn Manson or Gary Glitter, then there could be controversy.
-
That Paterno post had serious political controversy which is why it is not OK. Etta James is a singer so no political controversy exists.

Girl Genius
Dresden Codak
Goblins
Drowtales (main comic is safe with a slight bit of fanservice, but its Daydream section is completely unsafe) -
Where have I said that? All I said is that it should be easily to tell that an android is an android. Since androids have abilities beyond humans, then it is effectively a warning to humans that they can easily break your neck if you act like an idiot around them. Also, it could act like a uniform where they are able to help in accidents and other hazardous problems. If androids are to look exactly like humans, then they should be as weak as us.

Just waiting for the discrimination caused by sentience. We have to eventually replace Human Rights with Sentience Rights and it can be argued that some humans aren't sentient.
My view on the criteria for sentience are self-awareness, able to form an original thought, and has its own belief system. If something doesn't have those three things, then it is not sentient IMO. -
Quote:Actually, a cure for cancer is just around the corner. That looks way cool. I find it funny one of the people quoted that they should be spending resources to cure cancer than the these robots. Pft, its like he doesn't realize that cancer will be cured once these robots replace humans.

Why do they have to use natural skin and hair colors. Using green or blue skin would be able to differentiate that these androids are androids. Data had the perfect skin and eye colour. You knew that Data was not human, but he looked human enough that it didn't take much to get used to him. Hand and Head accessories are also a possibility, but they might end up as fashion accessories for teens and young adults.
