Monday 9p EDT SyFy

And of course Felicia is back. All SciFi TV series should have a cinnamon girl.

A few things holding me back from watching this.

  • No cable (I barely ever watch any television anymore so I don't need cable.)
  • Deep loathing for "SyFy" as a channel.
  • This series just never really "grabbed" me on the few chances I DID get to see it.
While I could watch Felicia Day all day (heh heh), it's just not enough...

Clicking on the linked image above will take you off the City of Heroes site. However, the guides will be linked back here.

And since SyFy's ratings are so low, they tend not to host their series on Hulu anymore.

It along with Warehouse 13 are series I enjoy for their trope aware characters and quirky sense of humor. And hot geeky redheads.

Indeed. If I'm watching SyFy these days, it's usually to see Eureka or Warehouse 13.

Same here. I don't know who watches all of those inane Ghost Hunter shows, but it sure as hell isn't me.

Goodbye, I guess.

As I was leaving a supermarket a couple of nights ago I noticed vehicle parked next to mine that belonged to a paranormal investigation group that's in my area. The sad thing was it was the same make and model used on Ghost Hunters, with this group's name as an acronym on the side in the same font that's used for the Ghost Hunters group.

Hey if you are going to rip someone off at least do it with some panache and use a 1959 Cadillac hearse.

Hearse? I thought it was an ambulance.

Blargh, season premier of Top Gear is tonight, too. Looks like one of the long road trip specials. Guess I'll be catching Eureka in reruns.

Same body style be used for either.

As for the actual episode, I chortled with glee when Carter's sheriff truck is blown up, again.

So are we going to have episodes both inside and outside the "matrix" or are we going to go the traditional "the crew suspects" along with the "let's find and rescue them" A and B plot?

I wish they went with the jump 4 years into the future instead of the Matrix. Probably right about "the crew suspects" with the "let's find and rescue them" plots, but I don't see it going for more than five episodes.

The first step in being sane is to admit that you are insane.

Agreed. I think maybe the first half of the season will be rescuing the crew, and the second half will be about tracking down Beverly and her co-conspirators. At least, that's what I hope. That plot thread has been dangling for the last three seasons or so.

Also, I'd still like to know what the hell happened to Callie Curie.

Goodbye, I guess.
