Fearsome Stare. Take it. Slot it. Love it
-
I'd take Quickness earlier, with it Practiced Brawler starts stacking with 2 Recharge Reductions which saves you a slot there. And you should be able to get away without taking Acrobatics at all as well with the protection that PB gives.
I find that Aid Self also comes in very handy in PvE for a /SR -
I'd be up for this, although I will be at work and probably wont get there till late on. If its still going on by the time I get home then I'm in.
-
Congrats Fen.
i remember briefly being in an SG with you along time back with my Controller, "New Blood" if memory serves me correct.
Congratulations again. -
Aww no way!
Sorry to hear your leaving Sil. Good luck to you.
Oh you know you'll be back -
Wohoo! Welcome back to you... Good to see another old face* back
*Not that you look old -

Never have truer words been spoken (only kidding) -
There arent any of the /SR power pool that offer any extra Stealth, you'd need to open up the Concealment pool for that I'm afraid.
SR does offer a +Perception though in the form of Focused Senses which is something that Regen cant give you.
Also, I feel that the likes of /SR and /Nin are better for Stalker's compared to Regen due to the low base HP that the AT has.
Hope this helps a bit -
Echoing whats already been said really. Its an Open PvP zone, you get a warning when you enter the zone that you may be attacked by other players which makes you 'fair game' for someone on the opposite faction from yourself regardless of what you are doing in the zone.
If you want to continue using the zone for taking down turrets or whatever else then I'm afraid your going to have accept the risks involved. -
Gratz on level 50 number two.
Now... Get to work on getting a hero there as well -
I always think that Regen Stalkers are never as good as a /SR or a /Nin. IMO Defence is better that Resistance for a Melee AT that has a low base HP.
-
All the things I was going to mention about Shadow Fall have already been said, so my post boils down to this:
DC, I feel your pain brother
PS: This post was brought to you in Stella Vision -
Grav/Empath Controller will, as always, be at Defiant's service (pub permiting
)
-
Well done everyone.
DC your Teapot on a Stick is on its way to you now -
I always think that Aid Self is a must for a /SR for PvP and PvE. You'll already have a 'Panic Button' with Elude so consider dropping Invis and Phase Shift for Aid Self (and one other from that pool)? Also suggest 2x End Reductions for your toggles.
-
When I was playing my Stalker at lower levels I did tend to rely on the 'Hit and Run' Tactic in PvE, at higher levels on the other hand I tended to be fighting off the shoulder of the Brute, hitting the Bosses hard and taking away a large percentage of thier health... Generally Scrapping and rarely running out the of the fight to get hidden.
For me Stalkers are just fine, I like rolling out high burst damage and I wouldnt want to loose any of that damage output for the sake of extra HP.
Although to anyone who hasnt played a Stalker and plans on rolling one I'd suggest SR or Nin as a secondary... Defense is far better than Resistance for Stalkers in my book -
You might be able to get away with 2 Recharge Reductions on Practiced Brawler seeing as your planning on taking Hasten.
Dont discount Quickness either, could save you opening another Power Pool. It will make a diffrence in PvP if your running Stealth (+SPD and +Recharge from Quickness) Practiced Brawler becomes Perma (short Animation time to be taken into account) with 2 Recharge Reductions on it and Quickness. Plus Quickness is an Auto Power and therefore doesnt cost any Endurance.
My 2 Inf
Edit: Also consider taking Aid Self, make a big diffrence to you in PvP and PvE. And remember the Test Server is your friend -
Dinged 50 about a month ago, could you please add:
Smyte Claws/Super Reflexes/Scirocco Stalker.
Ta much -
Got the numbers from using the Hero/Villian builder that can be found at coh.coldfront.net which I'm told is fairly accurate.

Would Agile and Dodge let me scrap more in PvE or is it unnoticeable?
[/ QUOTE ]
Agile and Dodge 3 slotted with SOs offer a 7.8% Defense bonus each to Ranged (Agile) and Melee (Dodge) which may not seem like a lot but ;
With Dodge, Agile and the rest of the SR set (fully slotted with SOs), without using Elude, you will have a 37.9% Defense to Melee and Ranged Attacks and a 45.7% Defense to AoE Attacks.
Without them you are down to 30.1% to ranged and melee and the AoE is unchanged at 45.7%
If you add Stealth and Combat Jumping into it then your Defenses jump up to 42.9% to ranged and Melee and AoE is still the same at 45.7%
I know it sounds End heavy, but I personally found it worth while running all the toggles from the SR pool and CJ in PvE
Hope that gives you an answer to at least one of your questions
Oh and I still think that Stealth and Aid Self (plus what ever first tier power from the Medicine pool) is the way to go. Wouldnt bother with Invis personally speaking, esspecially before you hit level 50.
Edit: By fully slotted with SOs I mean 3 Slotted (curse you post pub posting) -
You can add me to this if you like.
Smyte, Claws/SR Stalker -
I've been messing about with my Claws/SR Stalker's build on the Test Server recently and I'm finding that, for PvP purposes, Stealth and Aid Self are the way forward (I'm going to opt for Aid Other as well).
If you go down the Invis road then you need to remember that you cant attack while it is switched on and that a decent bind to switch off Invis and start AS would probably be the best advice.
The down side to taking either of these is that you cant fit any Patron Powers into your build at higher levels with out messing up your Primary Power Pool selection (Assuming that your still going to take the whole of the SR pool)
All that said I am a pretty casual PvPer and I'm sure there is an /SR Stalker with more PvP experience than me that could offer some more advice. -
Thanks very much everyone, better late than never I suppose
Oh and Kensa, It was my kill that leveled me so you have no right to choose the name of my first born... infact technically neither do I seeing as I already owe my first born child to one of my friends due to him beating me in a game of pool a few years back.... c'est la vie *shrug* -
