    Far down in the paragraph it says quote: "Of course, what's the point of gathering if you aren't dressed your best? That's why the new Leather and Chainmail costume pieces are now available on the Paragon Market, and they're FREE for VIP's to boot!"

    I looked everywhere in the paragon market and the new costume sets are NOT there. At the tailor when I click the shopping cart icon I get an error message. I'm hoping to buy some paragon points in the next few days and I was looking forward to buying the new chainmail/leather armor costume sets.


    Another thing: I could not find the Night Ward zone pack in the market for purchase either. Also there I have not seen any mention of this zone in regards as to who has access to the contacts. Is it a VIP only zone, like new Dark Astoria? Is if free for VIP but purchasable by premiums like First Ward? I really have wanted to know since info on issue 23 was announced.

    I can confirm that. Realized it a while back. I'm guessing this was the OP's problem and once the task force was complete, or he/she left, they saw their tips in the contacts window. The tips will not display while in task force mode and neither will any other contacts. But once out of tf mode they will be there.

    This has already been reported here and I posted a screen shot to show that it is in fact suppose to last in-game time and not real time. A red name posted and said they couldn't reproduce the problem and asked for more information on how to reproduce it. It seems to me like this is becoming a problem and the devs need to check into again.

    I've never purchased xp boosters of any kind from the paragon market and don't plan to. I have over 100 xp boosters from super packs left still.

    Although 1 concern I do have with the shared xp boosters is that lately I've been seeing players in the help channel advertising (not too often, about 1 or twice every day or two) that they will use the booster on another player for a price and also other players in help saying they will pay to have an xp booster used on them. Saw 1 person yesterday in Atlas Park broadcast advertise for 100 mill inf for the 8 hour shared xp and then a minute later dropped the price down to 75 million. I think this could be potentially used as a scam, i.e., the seller demands the inf up front then logs out after accepting the money.

    Personally I think these shared xp boosters were a major fail.

  8. Correct me if I'm wrong. But, don't time cards like that usually have to be activated at a register upon purchase before they can be usable? I've heard of gift cards and stuff being like that to prevent use in case of shoplifters stealing them. In other words, if someone stole a card like that and tried to use the code on it, they would get a message that the code is invalid.

    Maybe you should find out about that before you give them away. If they do have to be activated before they can be used, you could end up with some angry people. Just a thought.

    Today the Lion companion pet was put on sale in the Paragon Market but they made a mistake and added something else that isn't suppose to be there.

    Let the screen shot speak for itself lol.

    What you are referring to as a VIP only contact is probably the Signature Story Arc contact. VIP get the SSA for free but premiums have to purchase it to have access to this contact.

    As for new contacts: I have a low level villain and when I went to Port Oakes there was 1 contact besides getting the newspaper from the Broker. The contact's name is Mr. Bocor. He is wearing a white suit and hat and has a black and white face that looks to be painted like a skull.

    If you can't find any contacts to do more missions with, click 'Contacts' on your navigation bar and in the pop up window click 'Find Contacts'. You should see a contact in the new window that says "Does not know this contact'. You can click the button that says to bring you to the new contact and it will teleport you right to it.
  11. This IS a bug. It clearly states in the description in the shop: ".....one hour of in-game time". Right in the first sentence. Then further into it: "...can be cast on an ally (that lasts for one hour of in-game time)..."

  12. Nobody should feel like they are begging for help when asking for someone to drop an Ouro portal. Some people go out of their way to drop one for you. Heck I've seen many times where someone in Atlas Park ask for a portal to be dropped under the Atlas statue, next thing you know you got 10 people dropping portals under the statue just for the lulz lol. And if I happen to be in an area where someone needs a portal dropped I'll drop it for them. On villain side though if there isn't anybody in front of the Arbiter you may have to wait a few minutes for someone to come after asking in Help chat. You can almost always find someone willing to help. That's what I like about this game.

    Edit: Don't forget, in order to use someone else's portal you need to be at least level 14.

    As far as something being broken in PvP, I've heard various reports in game But 1 thing that seems to be the same is PvP was broken sometime around issue 13 IIRC.

    To be honest I probably noticed this months back and thought it was weird but not much else. I hardly ever use my Ouro portal and when I do I usually click it right after summoning it, or I summon the portal for someone else.     Hmm..........thinking about it, I suppose it could be "working as intended". My only guess is that the only way they could have the portal on a 5 minute timer was for it to act as though it was a pet, kinda like some pets that expire after a certain time like Dark Servant, Haunt, Phantom Army, etc. That would make sense to me. If anybody else could explain it better for a noob like me, please do so.

    P.S. Thanks Texas and the others who responded to give me 'technical' support since this doesn't appear to be a bug and I'm a noob.
  15. I summoned an Ouroboros portal then desummoned my pets on my Mastermind and the portal disappeared. I was in Grandville. I thought this was just a glitch because it was in the middle, or start, of a Nemesis invasion.

    After the invasion I tested it and took screen shots. Sure enough when I /release_pets my Ouro portal vanished and was not clickable.

    During posting this I noticed something in my screen shot.........the Ouro portal showed up in the pet window prior to releasing my pets, which explains that part. How long has it been like this? I've been playing since freedom and never noticed this before and I keep the pet window open on all characters, even ones that done have pet summons. So I'm going to say this is a bug, in my opinion.
  16. OK. Seems to be working fine now. I was able to log in and go to the My stuff page and check my recent bug report and had to update it. Basically the GM didn't see what the bug was and I had another screen shot I had taken after filing the bug report and was finally able to add it with a bit more info.

    Edit: I was shocked to see my support ticket from a couple days ago still open and the GM actually asking for more info. Usually when I file a bug report the ticket is closed within a few hours and I get a generic response that seems more automated than anything.

    Another "leak"? Looks like the Arachnos logo from the DVD edition cape, albeit, slightly off center. Clicked the shopping cart icon and same paragon market error message. I would say there is a bug: the fact that these are not available for purchase and showing up in the costume creator lists.

    P.S. Think I found a resolution for uploading to imageshack where its not incredibly large in the post and you can still see it decently.

Went to a trainer on my new praetorian today to give it a new costume for the second slot (I have all extra slots from the shop) and wanted to put a cape on it when I noticed something that made me happy. I don't have enough points at this time to buy it but wanted to see how much it was. 2 new capes: CoV DVD Edition, DVD Edition. But when I click the shopping cart icon next to the cape I got an error message in the shop. This shot my hopes straight to hell . It was NOT available in the shop for purchase. Even if I had enough points to buy it I wouldn't have been able to .

    Personally I wouldn't call this a leak. A bug definitely.

    Back in October or November, can't remember, there was a Tri-Corner hat in the costume creator in the Hats category that had the same error message in the shop. It actually wasn't available for sale. So far to date that hat has yet to be officially release. (Don't really care. That hat was pretty fugly anyway.) It would be nice to purchase those capes, or at least the cape with the Arachnos symbol on it. Been wanting 1 for months. But I won't hold my breath and if they do decide to release it for sale, it probably won't be for many months.

    If I remember right, a few months ago, maybe about the time the Tri-Corner hat appeared in the costume creator window, there was a Chain Mail helmet in the Medieval category. It had no art and the character's head appeared normally but bald without hair, and also chain mail gloves with no art too I think. Apparently there is a chain mail costume coming but won't be until issue 23 has been released.

    Take a look at the bottom right corner of the screen shots I posted and look at the date and time on the Windows clock and tell me again this text error does not exist. I am fully aware that there were powers which showed they could take enhancements they actually couldn't. Forgive me if I misunderstand but it sounds like you are saying The text error on this particular power does not exist. Or are you saying the developers are already aware of the problem? Issue 21.5 was released to the liver servers December 6th 2011 and they either missed a few powers, or just don't see it as a priority of any kind, like other bugs in the game.

  23. OK.......I went to the Guild Wars support forums https://forum.guildwars.com/forum
    to post the NC Soft support website error in the Forum and Website Bugs and Issues section and had trouble posting it there but managed to get it posted. Seems the GW forums have been having a 502 error and the website loading slowly the last few days.

    I would send in a support ticket to NC Soft support about the NC Soft support error issue I'm getting but knowing them, they may ask for more info on the matter and I wouldn't be able to update an existing ticket. I would have to file a new ticket referencing the old ticket and ask that they be merged. Irony? lol.
  24. Sill messed up. Can't view the My Stuff page on the CoH or NC Soft support website. Would be nice if someone else with a NC Soft/CoH support account could log into the site and click the My Stuff tab to see if this problem is widespread or if it is just me. If it is just me, I have no clue what the problem could be.
