CoH Support site screwed up?

I found a bug in the game and took a screen shot and went to https://support.cityofheroes.com/
as I always do so I could report it. The problem is, when I click My Stuff then log in after typing my username and password, it immediately takes me to a blank white page with text that reads "There has been an error with your request.". That is all it says. I go back to the support site and now every time I click My Stuff to log in it doesn't even take me to the log in page. It just goes to that blank page with that error message.

I clear out my browser cookies and can once again get to the log in page but it happens again. Takes me to that error page. Clear cookies, click log in, error page, go back, click My Stuff, error page no log in.

OK after typing this up I tried again and noticed after clicking back once I click to log in, I am actually logged in. But, I am not able to see my history and when I click My Stuff I get the error message. I can click log out then click My Stuff, log in, get the error, go back and I'm logged in.

Anybody else having weird issues with the support site?

If I'm not mistaken, the support site has a different login from your NCSoft account.

I have never had a problem before. I have submitted support tickets to that support website since I've been playing the game.

Edit: Yes I do know that. My NC Soft/CoH support account is a different log in(username/password) than my NC Soft master account. I did not log into my master account and try to contact support that way, if that is what you were referring to. You can't do it that way as far as I can tell.

P.S. forgive me if I misunderstood what you meant. I know what 2+2 is but sometimes I have trouble putting 2 and 2 together if someone is not very specific.

The good news is, as I have stated that after clicking log in, getting the error page, then clicking back and seeing I was logged in, I was able to click Ask a Question, fill out the support ticket, submit it, and received the automated email response.

The bad news is, I went to https://help.ncsoft.com/app/answers/list
and it is the same exact problem. Something is messed up with the CoH/NC Soft support sites.

Normally I could log into the NC Soft support site and would be able to click My Stuff and see all my recent support history for both Guild Wars and City of Heroes, but CoH has its own support site at the address I said in my first post.

Edit: I clicked Log In straight to the right of My Stuff and had a small pop up window appear. I logged in and was still on the Answers page instead of getting the error message......until I click My Stuff. I'm guessing something is goofed up with the My Stuff page.

Note: my NC Soft Support account I created in 2006, and as stated since I can see support tickets in my history from both GW and CoH, my username and password are the same for both support sites. https://help.ncsoft.com/app/answers/list and https://support.cityofheroes.com/

Sill messed up. Can't view the My Stuff page on the CoH or NC Soft support website. Would be nice if someone else with a NC Soft/CoH support account could log into the site and click the My Stuff tab to see if this problem is widespread or if it is just me. If it is just me, I have no clue what the problem could be.

I get the same error. Of the three options in the drop-down on My Stuff, Account Settings is working okay, and Account Overview and Support History give the error.

OK.......I went to the Guild Wars support forums https://forum.guildwars.com/forum
to post the NC Soft support website error in the Forum and Website Bugs and Issues section and had trouble posting it there but managed to get it posted. Seems the GW forums have been having a 502 error and the website loading slowly the last few days.

I would send in a support ticket to NC Soft support about the NC Soft support error issue I'm getting but knowing them, they may ask for more info on the matter and I wouldn't be able to update an existing ticket. I would have to file a new ticket referencing the old ticket and ask that they be merged. Irony? lol.

Yes Same exact thing for me. Account Settings works but nothing else.

Hmmm! Tried to log into my account to check when my subs were due this a.m. The login box is not accepting my password. Tried resetting my password and still the same problem. Getting a message that the site may be down for maintenance to check here to see if it is. Can't find anything here to explain it though. I also am getting the same error when I try to contact support. Which makes it really difficult to correct the problem - anyone know how you contact support if you can't access it through your account page?

You can use the support@coh.com email address that is listed in the description of this forum section.


EDIT: As a side note, I tried logging in to my two game accounts to check when my subs renew and had no problems. This was shortly after 10AM Central, so I'm not sure what message you were getting about the site possibly being down for maintenance. I was able to log in both accounts and check all of the pages associated with those accounts.

The support site still gives me the problems on the My Stuff tab that others are reporting but I submitted a support ticket about it. Since we can update support tickets by email, I'll use that if for some silly reason they want more information.


If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Well, they've started fixing things at least. I can now get the My Stuff tab to work, but not all of My Stuff is actually showing. The only ticket showing is from back in September 2011. Nothing before then and nothing after then.

But it's a start. Hopefully they'll get it all sorted out Soon™.

OK. Seems to be working fine now. I was able to log in and go to the My stuff page and check my recent bug report and had to update it. Basically the GM didn't see what the bug was and I had another screen shot I had taken after filing the bug report and was finally able to add it with a bit more info.

Edit: I was shocked to see my support ticket from a couple days ago still open and the GM actually asking for more info. Usually when I file a bug report the ticket is closed within a few hours and I get a generic response that seems more automated than anything.

Thanks Texas for giving me that link to support, only problem is it doesnt seem to be working either. Well - to be precise - it may be working but I'm not getting any replies from the emails I keep sending. Any ideas what I can do next - as I really need to access my account details because I want to change credit card info? I would be most grateful for your help
