go to https://secure.ncsoft.com/cgi-bin/plaync_login.pl

Once you log in, you can buy the game from the store and it will automatically apply to the account you are logged in with.

Also, when i do try to pay for it, it takes me to a screen that askes me if i want to buy the game.

I already have the game and disks, i just want to subscribe and pay 14.99 or whatever monthly but i don't see anything to click that allows me.

Whats also confusing is that it says 19.00$ or something at the top, but like i said i already have the game and disks lol.

I could be mistaken, but I believe if you're on trial you need to buy a full version of the game. Those include a month of time, so the net cost is like $5. I'd recommend the Mac special edition so you get the mission teleporter and a costume set. The Architect Edition one unlocks one costume set of your choice between two previoue add-on packs, but doesn't have the teleporter.

You can use the Mac edition on non-Mac's. It's just the code for the goodies that will apply to your account.

From the NCSoft support page on upgrading trial account:
"For instructions on how to upgrade your trial account to a full retail account, please see: Trial Account Activation" >>

Quote:
... log into NCsoft Account Management and follow the instructions below.
If you have purchased a retail copy of the game from a retailer, use the following instructions.
  1. Click the Game Accounts link.
  2. Click your trial game account in the Game Accounts section.
  3. Click the Reactivate Account (EDIT: This should probably say Upgrade Account) link in the Actions section.
  4. Enter the 20-digit serial code from your retail game and click the Continue button.
  5. Select your billing option and click the SUBMIT button.
  6. Provide the requested information to complete the activation.
If you have purchased a serial code through your NCsoft master account, use the following instructions.
  1. Click the Use a Serial Code link.
  2. Select the serial code you wish to use in the Unused Serial Codes section and click the Continue button.
  3. Locate the trial account you wish to activate and click the Reactivate Account button.
  4. Select your billing option and click the SUBMIT button.
  5. Provide the requested information to complete the activation.
After completing the billing activation process, you will be sent an e-mail stating your account has been activated. Once you receive that e-mail, your account will be successfully upgraded to retail status.

PLEASE NOTE: We strongly recommend you save the "Game Account Activated!" e-mail sent to you after the initial activation of your game account. That e-mail contains a very important piece of information that we use to verify account ownership. You may need it if you need help with your account later. That specific piece of information is only provided in the e-mail sent after the original activation of your game account. It cannot be resent.

It sounds like you used the trial code in the box instead of the game code. Look in the box for the Pocket D VIP Pass - the code on the back of that is the full game code. Go into your account management as described above and UPGRADE your account.

...I forgot what experience means.

That could be true.

Where can i find the right code? I have the box right here.

Hmm, i don't think i have one, can't find it.

My serial code is on the back of my keyboard commands paper, it also has a Hero/Villains archetypes explanation on it.

what does that Code say? Does it say Trial Code?

Is there a code inside or on the CD case that came with the box?

It says quck start guide and serial code.

To clarify, are you on a trial now? Do you have the annoying popup, and cannot use broadcast, send private messages?

Okay the box you bought should contain both trial codes and full codes. The trial codes are probably marked as such, and the real serial code should be on the back of the Pocket D VIP membership card.

Was your box previously opened? The only real valuable thing in the box is the serial code, as the entire game can be downloaded for free by anyone. Someone may have opened the box, snagged the serial code, and then sold the box to you.

The other code you have, with the AT explanations, try putting that code into your PlayNC master account. If it's a trial code, it should be marked as such.

Go through all the stuff in the box one more time, to make sure the VIP card didn't slip inbetween a fold, or get stuck in the bottom, or something like that.

www.paragonwiki.com is a great source of information for this game.

Did you buy your Good vs. Evil Edition new or used? If you bought it new, and it doesn't have the VIP pass card with the code, you are missing a part.

If you bought it secondhand, but it was represented as having a valid serial code, contact the seller. They owe you a valid serial code.

If you bought it secondhand, with no representation that it had a valid code, you may have to buy another copy that DOES have a valid code, and chalk this one up to experience.

As others have mentioned, when you do get a valid code, be sure you apply it to your existing account as an UPGRADE. Creating a new account with the code would force you to start over with new characters.

Good luck, and welcome to the game!

Generally, it is better to start a new thread than to resurrect a vaguely-related one from 2.5 years ago.

But yeah, you get 400 points per month with a VIP subscription. You can subscribe from Account Management on the main website, or you might be able to do it in-game from the Paragon Market although I do not know for certain.

If you JUST want points, you can get more points for your money by buying points directly, through the Paragon Market or the website. A subscription includes lots of other perks, but almost all of them go away when the subscription ends, and if you just want the 400 points you can buy them directly for $5 rather than a month's subscription at $15.
VIP is almost always a better buy if you're spending money every month, or if you want all the features, but if you just want to make a small one-time purchase for a costume pack or whatever, you're probably better off buying the points for it directly.

Ingame, when you're on the character selection screen, choose "Become a VIP" and that will tell get you started. If you need to "buy" the whole game, then it'll tell you to pay the $20 or whatever it is.
