This thread is wildly entertaining.
Two of my favorites are:

Keep up the good stuff. -
Speaking of awesome mission environments:
Who doesn't love ice skating in Frostfire's hideout?
That was so much fun. -

Oh my God, I know what's happened!

Well if we learned anything from the last time, it's not to stress out about it. Just let them open it and their faces will melt off -
That is so awesome IlrHulbert. 2 thumbsup up.

Just think of The Hollows as the tutorial on XP debt
XP debt is not as big of a deal as it seams, and The Hollows will get you used to it.
I went down like 4 times last night with a level 6 tanker in the hollows, and you know what? I ended the night without any debt at all.
Plus, as previously stated, you don't have to do any missions past the police drones in The Hollows.
And since everyone who complains likes to list his or her personal time management situation here's mine:
I'm not a power-gamer. I work full time and go to school. -

Who in the heck is Babbage?

A giant robot who used to own a chain of video game stores. -
I really trust that these devs will do it right, but Im very interested to know how a difficulty slider will fit into the story. Or will it just be one of those things you suspend your disbelief on?
Whatever they do, a difficulty slider sounds like a great solution. -

How about players just accept that the game is about to get a little more challenging? Strap in.
[/ QUOTE ]
Hehe well said. I don't understand why players aren't more excited about these changes. -

So true. This paranoia was rampant on the SWG forums, but I hold a firm belief that although game developers might use forums to help them, they do not let them sway them significantly in relation to actual data mining.

How short your memory is...
You do not seem to remember how Mr. 152 hours came out
of the closet and how there were immediate nerfs to compensate
for his power levelling. (not referring to the exploit fixes)
Don't remember the purple patch either ??
Or how Equinox beat down blobbidon and there was a sudden
gang of nerfs related to that .

Hehe I like those pics.
I didnt say change doesnt happen because of peoples actions in game, I said it doesnt happen because peoples whines on the forums.
I fail to see how any of those things prove that the devs changed things based on the forums and not the actual data they got from the servers. -

This entire [idea that] the developers [are] actually paying attention to the whole ordeal, listening to people's complaints and "nerfing" based on the rants of a few whiners on the message boards is a total fabrication. It's an invention of your paranoid mind. It's tripe. Hogwash. It doesn't exist. It's spam to fill these rants on the forums. It's FICTIONAL

"Just find a Group" or "Include such and such in your group."
As long as this game is advertised as one that can be played solo, those are not answers to problems/complaints people post in the forums. Please, if your tempted to make one of those responses, think twice. Your not helping and just adding noise that makes it harder to see the serious rsponses, especially in regards to update 2 which is coming.
[/ QUOTE ]
A lot of times when I see those responses they are answering someone who is asking why they can't do a very particular thing solo (not all the time, just a lot of times.)
This game has never been advertised as a game in which you can experience all the content solo. So Im going to choose to dissagree with you if youre saying those responces are never valid. -
