Unless you're a high-tier premium, you won't have access to Masterminds on a premium account. I think you have to be Tier 6 or more to access Masterminds. -
I don't think so. Masterminds and controllers are both VIP only, or a special purchase in the store, or a very high Tier Rewards. Even the older CoV folks who came back had their MMs locked.
It's like $15 to unlock MMs, if you're not VIP, iirc. -

I think AE was well after the IO and Auction House additions, so I assumed he wasn't referring to like anything so early that 95 million would actually have been a lot. Well, he's clarified with ~20 billion, so I guess that rules out almost any pre-Auction House. -

Everybody has Stamina now... starting at level 2. And that means three more power picks, so burn a respec.

LOL, I'm not sure, but I don't think 95 mill was ever considered stupid rich, and not around AE time when you left. Stupid rich is around 20 billion and up now, imo, and requires multiple toons to hold it all.

Masterminds in general have a hard time with higher level, fast moving content. That's anything, not just Trials. I have had to dismiss my bots in order to follow a team on a large map where they're just hitting the objectives.
I don't have a lot of advice for TPN as I haven't played it much. Maybe don't upgrade the bots fully, as most of the AoE is in the final upgrade. Use the "attack my target command" and if the bots have mostly single target attacks then the bots shouldn't damage civilians much. However I haven't tried this, so take it with a grain of salt.
The other thing to consider is just playing as a buffer and leaving the bots out of it. Put them on passive or spam "def follow", and just try to buf and support the dangerous parts of the Trial. It's maybe not how you envision playing, but part of the idea of these Trials are that they give you have different situations to adapt to, so I feel out of the box thinking is required here.

I do have to disagree that the LFG tool works as intended. It's intended to encourage people to queue up and form a group. It's not doing that (everyone pre-forms groups), so it's not truly working as intended. -

I think I'm using the Fire Proc (Reactive) Interface too. More pets = more damage, and with 6 pets and nice big cones and AoE, you can pump out a lot of damage.
For my Alpha, I went Nerve. I figured the Reactive gave me enough of a boost to damage, and my Bots/FF is more of a team build, so I boosted the bubble's Def with Nerve instead (I also have Power Boost and Radial Clarion, so ... yeah).
Plus, the Accuracy in Nerve means my bots will hit more often, esp. for the little drones which are -2 to my level. Moar damage there too, effectively. The Acc in Nerve also means it's viable to shift some slots from the Drones to other powers, and it boosted the Acc of my Protector bots quite a bit, as I had them slotted with Def and EndRedux more than Acc.
I'd at least make a Tier 2 Nerve (should be easy) and try it out, you might like it. -

Ninja - 1. Pants all the way.
Robots - 4.5. I really like Robotics, and it's my only 50 MM. You can't quite solo AVs without some help (Traps,Dark) but they'll handle just about anything else. I recently duo'd Jurassic with a Tanker, so I was doing a hefty part of the damage, and things went just fine. I barely even lost a bot.

I think it's fair to say that the LFG has some broken features. The wait times, for example, seem to be pure fiction. That's not to say that the rest of the functionality is bad; but it's also not to say that the rest of the functionality is good either. There's stuff that needs to be fixed, and stuff that should be improved.

I think there's a "global hide" option under Menu -> Options -> General. I don't use it so I'm not sure exactly where it is.

For that, you'll have to ask someone who plays those sets on a scrapper a lot. I just don't know. Shield Defense, Willpower, Dark Armor (not kidding) and to some degree Invulnerability and Firey Aura tend to be flavor of the month sets right now. Regen I'm sure is viable, it's just clicky, and I don't know the details of how how it stacks up.

Not a lot. They're pretty well balanced, so just play what you like. None of the ATs are considered "gimped" at level 50 or anything like that. They all have some slight flavor, and that is practically speaking all there is to it. (Play-style, I prefer Tankers. I love <3 my Shield Defense tanker!) -

Welcome back! Yes, you get unlocks for all of your characters if you go VIP. Otherwise, you get limited unlocks that you can spend once (not per server).

Have you tried the Pinnacle forums? I was just there and the first two posts were a Hami raid and a Mothership raid. Seems stuff is going on all the time. The Mothership raid would be open to any character of any level, and would probably be a great way to meet more active members of the server and get some advice and stuffs.

Can you tell us exactly what happens? Is there an error message? Does it just hang indefinitely? How long have you waited?

The launcher should just work. That tech forum TJ pointed you at has a lot of smart folks; I've seen them solve some pretty hairy problems.
It'll help though if you describe exactly what "doesn't work." What did you click on, what happens next, etc. Did any part appear to work? Do you have the launcher installed, for example? Or did it not install? Try to be specific. Just saying "no worky" really doesn't give us much to go on. -
