If you buy the GR Boxed Set, then yes, you will get the 1 month of VIP time, access to the Demon Summoning, Electric Control, Kinetic Melee, and Dual Pistols Powersets, access to Praetoria (but not First Ward), and the Alignment System.
When the month runs out, you should retain access to those items.

I don't think so. Masterminds and controllers are both VIP only, or a special purchase in the store, or a very high Tier Rewards. Even the older CoV folks who came back had their MMs locked.
It's like $15 to unlock MMs, if you're not VIP, iirc.

You can only play Masterminds if you 1) subscribe, 2) buy the unlock on the market, or 3) own 13 reward tokens.

You have one for having an account. If you have any box codes on the account, add 1 more (No more than 1) plus 1 per month of VIP, plus 1 for every 1500 points bought (plus 1 bonus the first time you bought points.)

No, not as a free player. They, masterminds and controllers, are free for VIP or unlock based on the number of Paragon Reward Tokens you have, 13 or more tokens which would unlock Tier 5 for Premium Players. Or you can buy them at some awful price (looking it up ... 1200 Paragon Points for each one).

Unless you're a high-tier premium, you won't have access to Masterminds on a premium account. I think you have to be Tier 6 or more to access Masterminds.
