No, just a costume slot mission.

    Illusion/Which?

Oh, I already planned on the power customization thing. I was going to use a pale golden color scheme for most of them, but I'll definitely keep dark in mind for the Spectral Terror (and yeah, I know how cool that kind of stuff can look - my Grav troller's primaries are all dark-colored, and Singularity is kind of up the same alley).
  3. See that "Unless you want to save slots for your other powers" clause you put in your OP? Yeah, you WANT to do that.

    Illusion/Which?

All right guys, thanks for the insight - I think I'll go with Rad here, since I don't want my play experience to be 100% dependent on having a team and because so far it sounds like Rad is just... rad. Now I just gotta come up with a costume...

    Illusion/Which?

So I have a character I want to make, named "The Illumineer," and I've decided that an Illusion troller is the way to go (though I considered energy and/or rad blasters and defenders as well, I wanted something different). To keep the light theme of the character, I'm thinking either Rad or Empathy as his secondary, but I don't know which I would rather pick. I've played a Rad and I like him, but he's Grav/Rad, and I've never played an Empath. Any advice on which of those two secondaries would be a better mate to Illusion?
  6. Ooooh, that's actually a tough one! Hmmm, my first thought is my troller, a grav/rad named Unstar, who I think would be a pretty cool NPC ally on some kind of mission. His story is that he's a black hole - specifically, Cygnus X-3 - who gained sentience when he (or, at that point, it) devoured a Kheldian. Of course, the Kheldian's host body was torn to sub-atoms and integrated into Cygnus X-3's mass, but since Kheldians are made of energy, things worked a bit differently. The Kheldian did die, but within the curved space of Cygnus X-3' event horizon, its energy also became part of the black hole, and the source of Unstar's consciousness. He does not know any of this; he knows that at some point he became self-aware, but not why. I RP him as being extroverted, curious, and largely peaceful, fascinated by both sentient beings and magic, deliberately keeping his gravity reverse-polarized so as not to destroy the interesting planet he found.

If he were actually a canon character, he'd have a darkmap all over his character model, so he would look like a humanoid hole in reality.

EDIT: Eep, sorry about the wall-of-text!
  7. Meat Doctor with stolen Arachnos tech, anyone?

  9. I'm having trouble with these form-shifting binds... I wrote them as macros instead, because I often can't remember which key I bind things to, and for reasons unknown they only seem to work when I'm not in combat. I use the Nova macro to shift my form and my tray pre-combat - that works fine. When I'm done blasting and try to hit my "off" macro (which is what I called the button to shift me back to Human and put up a Shining Shield) it shifts my tray, but doesn't shift me back to human form or put up the shield. Most bizarrely, when I'm NOT fighting something and just testing the macro outside of combat, it works fine!

Does anyone have a clue why this is happening?

  16. Are you kidding me? Bacon is totally a Nemesis plot! Haven't you ever SEEN how many people will do pretty much anything for it? Nemesis has to be behind that.

However, this blanket I'm wearing is not a Nemesis plot.
  17. Use bindloadfile. I've had this problem as well, with my Mastermind pets and a bind to get around a name glitch, and so far it works fine. Paste your entire bind into a text file (/bind command not included; start at NUMLOCK) and save it somewhere; I put mine in c:/binds. Then enter the command /bindloadfile c:/binds/FILENAME.txt.

Let me know if that works for you.
  18. Ouroboros belts and chest/shoulder details.

C'mon, seriously, we can unlock costume aprts for OTHER joinable factions, why not this one?
  19. Haven't made the character yet, but I've put together a costume for Tharlennis, my Morrowind character.

Oh. My apologies, I had no idea.

Tripp: If you bind Teleport to shift+leftclick, that gets rid of the manual clicking already, and everyone does this. I thought the balancing factor was the Endurance cost - you don't run out of Endurance with Flight, Super Jump, or Super Speed, but you do with Teleport, even with endurance reductions slotted in it and Stamina. Is it not a big enough balancing factor that one might plummet, land in a spawn, and die, unless they spend another power choice on Hover? The only difference between the shift+leftclick bind and the proposed "let us autofire" is that with the latter you would get a targeting thingee.

Besides, having manual clicking as a balancing factor because Teleport is the fastest doesn't exactly make sense. Considering that Teleport is - and should be - the fastest, should the balancing factor be "use the game mechanics to slow it down?" Because that's what manual clicking is. I'm certain that it's because of this annoyance that nobody I meet uses Teleport, and that Teleport is generally considered an inferior travel power.
  21. I teamed with a Fir Bolg named Noognar in Talos today - didn't get a shot of him, but this was his costume, recreated at the tailor:
