Not quite a hero, but is a rogue close enough? He is rather heavily magical.

This has me thinking nothing so much as "Where's my 1950s-bubble-shaped space helmet?" but anyway, yes, I have always wanted to make something like this... I'll edit this post once I get the costume actually done.

Ffff, now I have to think even harder about which side my Praetorian hero is on - because her powers are inherently a "band-aid" rather than the great preventative measure that the Praetorian archvillains* use theirs as. As a forcefielder, she's extraordinarily well-suited to, say, rescuing people from a burning building, or thwarting a knife in the dark... but she isn't, and never was, the Superman/Batman sort who goes and whales on the baddies. And since the only situations in which she might be useful are those that are perpetrated by the Resistance... I have no idea what her backstory is anymore.


*word used because that's what they con as, no other reason

Can't say I've done that... but my first character (and first 50), Eldrix the Blackbird, does indeed have a GOOD twin called Beata the Dove:



Eldrix is a Gravity/Energy dom, Beata is a Gravity/Forcefields troller.

I've never had an opportunity to do that one... I've always wanted to, though.

Well, updating Windows didn't help... I'll try turning those things off. How do I turn those things off?

Aww, no, really, I liked the jets... I mean, if the flight thing bothers you, you could always call them exhaust vents, since he's radioactive and all, right?

So somehow, I didn't instantly think of my actual mutant character when this pack hit Test, despite her being based on, and named for, this fungus (warning - gross and creepy!). But now that I've appropriately facepalmed, she has proper fungal tendrils around the boots, and her mycelium is faintly luminous (which real Cordyceps isn't, but this is comic-book mutant Cordyceps, gosh dernit!).

Did you guys click the big picture to see it on dA, by the way? LJ added rock jets! I swear, if I could really have a rock jetpack that matched my other powers, I would spec into that just for awesome factor despite flight being a stupid-*** idea for a stone tank.

I don't? Funny, I could swear I installed that before I put Mass Effect on this machine. Guess I'll do it again. I am also not launching it through Steam. Where is Microsoft Security Essentials? I can't find it in my control panel.

Every time I'm on a large team, I crash as soon as I enter combat unless I am running in safe mode. Even minimum graphics doesn't help. I THINK my graphics card is an ATI, but I'm not sure - in any case, it's a powerful one; can run Mass Effect 2 at max settings, and I think (not sure, would have to ask my brother who plays it and gave me the card) it can handle Crysis pretty well too. What information must I provide in order to diagnose and fix this problem, and how do I find said information? I know next to nothing about omputers. I would ask my brother, who builds them, but he's gone off to camp.

EDIT: Actually it's a GeForce 8800 GT. Also, I'm running Vista 32-bit.
