~ Magical FArts ~ A cameo appearance?

I know, I know, it couldn't be helped... the title practically wrote itself.

So anywho I was sketching some layouts for my FArt entry this month (time permitting, I'm hoping to pull off a mini-comic) and it looks like I will need some other hero types to appear briefly and maybe even have some dialogue with my main Chloe to flesh out the story a bit.

What I'm mainly after are the magic looking types. A hero who really looks the part of Mystic or Seer or someone you might consult before attempting a large ritual that could have unforeseen consequences. Age/race/gender/body types are not the deciding factors here as any can have the gift of magical ability... it's all about the look.

I'm hoping there are some here that already have what I'm looking for (and who wouldn't mind a cameo appearance) which would save me from having to create a bunch of stuff from scratch myself.

Full length, close range (I don't need a lot of scenery/background in the images) screenshots please
and a quick line or two telling what powersets and how your hero is tied in with magic.

No promises here, but I will certainly try to work some into the piece so post em if ya got em and thanks in advance everyone.

Original Fenian had a little of the witchy look, and a lot of the skin look... But seeing as how she hates to study or research to improve even her own magic, she's probably not someone anyone would consult

I have just two magical toons, and one of them is a young 8' tall boy (perhaps not ideally suited to being a seer). The other one is Czu, on Virtue. He may still be nothing like what you're looking for.

Czu is a bit of a what-if himself. What if Pha Xiong and Tub Ci never made it to Paragon City. Instead, Devouring Earth overran their homeland in Laos, and they barely escaped with their lives. They kept running until they reached Siberia, and then they went underground. To give themselves a chance, Pha Xiong trained Russians in the arts of magical tattoos. And so were born... The Czu. Yeah, a silly Tsar/Czar thing. The new diet and lifestyle has affected their physique.

Czu uses demon summoning (to make up for lack of numbers) and forcefield (pretty bubbles). An example of Czu in combat (costume slightly different):

I haven't really fleshed out a back story for this guy yet (such a procrastinator when it comes to back stories) but he is a wizard. You know, studies long hours to perfect his arts. He is enemies of any caste of magic users who practice the dark arts or who use magic for evil.

I present: Xodious Arcanis, Elec/Fire Blaster

Not at home at the moment, but my Archery/Mental blaster might fit the bill - will grab screenies and post em later.

Here is Xx Shrouded SabLe xX. Her powers are the darkest of the dark which gives her the ability to cast spells over villains, heroes and monster alike. The realm of magic is where she lives and continues to learn and grow.

hmmmmm, ok, I feel a nagging to put enn-vee in the running here so




enn-vee is emp/psy defender, she has a HUGE backstory, but the jist is she was born half elven, half mortal, all magical.

Not quite a hero, but is a rogue close enough? He is rather heavily magical.

Don't let her cute looks fool you, though. She's quite the accomplished magician, ready to blast enemies with summoned lightning or heal her allies with a ready spell.

Magic is strong in her and her mothers kin's blood. She has had several of years of practise and is quite talented and knows spells aplenty.

I think the winner of the cameo appearance needs to...

I have two other Mender characters, but they're both pretty tech-oriented (though the second one does cast some fire spells):



Epoch's not high enough level yet, but she's supposed to have a lighter-brown and grayish striped scarf scarf fastened at the front with the same diamond-shaped pin that Lazarus uses (like in my avatar). She's a bots/fire mastermind who's waiting for Going Rogue, and Lathrop's a Kin/Electric defender.

Both of them, however, are quite heroic types (though Lathrop's methods can sometimes be mildly questionable; he tends to break a few laws if he doesn't think it'll hurt anything). The way I see it, so is Lazarus, and he's just in the dark... thus, so are these two.

I have 2 that I could propose (but they both need new refs)

One is a d'jinn, so a magical creature in itself
Ts'anjin


and the other is more of a modern druid
Dark Druid (or now Dark Dawn Druid)

I'd post something that I created for an MA arc that was scrapped before it saw daylight, but it was just the wizard pre-made costume with custom colors. The only other thing I have that would fit is my SA/EM Tanker, Neolith, who was raised from the earth by magic, buuuutt...

I don't wanna hog the CR's FArts...

Hmm, it looks like you have plenty to choose from for characters. The one I was planning on submitting has a hood and it looks like you have plenty of those too. Ach well.

P.S. still looking for a possible "seer" or Psi based hero with no hood... (want an unobstructed view of the face) from a design perspective I'm imagining a shot of them with fingers pressed to their temples and a far away look in the eyes as if searching for something. That's the idea for that panel @tm but it may change depending on if anyone comes up with something I can use or if the demands of the story/time constraints change it.
