Ohhh... PepsiCo, the Haliburtan of the food industry. I'll never forgive them for what they did to Pizza Hut

Screw it, if the movie rocks, it rocks! I have to live knowing Iron Man's movie armor could probably be cut in half by a drunk taking a hot wiz with its titanium-gold alloy
but hell I enjoyed both movies so much I can overlook that silly detail.

I've played my L50 almost exclusively so no pressure here.

Damnit, I was torn between Byrne with X-Men or Byrne on Alpha Flight. In the end I went with the pure Byrne Alpha Flight run.

Battlecry: "Hey, I'm colorblind, alright?!"
I've already come up with easily 25 ideas for new animal-themed toons, most of which will never see the time of day because I already have too many. This guy might not even last, but the couple of levels I ust snagged for him were fun. -
I dig SGU, but if this is the big send off for the show, I'd really dig a final episode that ended very badly, like 300 badly.

Your not alone, IIRC 8 hours to do the TF, started late friday night and ended around noon saturday, during the course of the run, we had people dropping and coming back on - I even fell asleep during a battle as I recall.

Quote:That is pretty lofty and would be neat indeed, I think I still would settle for Watson 1.01 if it allowed me to communicate with any sort of device easily.Really, that's not the cool possibility. Here's the cool possibility:
A Watson-like computer can solve word problems.
Think about it. Pure math is no problem for computers, provided you tell it what equation you want to solve, what the values/ranges are and so forth. Knowing how to set up the problem becomes the hardest part and the one that people most commonly screw up. Garbage in, garbage out.
With a Watson-like system, you can simply describe the problem you need solved and it will interpret your request, look up the appropriate equations and data and then do the math. Then it can provide the answer in colloquial language and elaborate the parts you may not understand.
With enough "experience" it can even anticipate the misconceptions of the person asking the question and avoid any errors inherent in the query. Or it might ask for or even offer clarification.
Next likely goal: See if Watson 2.0 (or whatever the next generation is) can "earn" an advanced degree through standard education and testing.
As a problem solving tool, Watson 2 would be awesome though. -
Quote:Sweet, I'll be ready to buy a new Mustang in a few years and hopefully Ford's SYNC will be filled with this goodness.Apply a few iterations of Moore's Law to Watson and before too long you'll have everyday-use computer interfaces that respond to natural language instructions in conversational form.
Not that I care for distracted driving, but the Mini brand is set to introduce an option where you can tweet from your car.
Combine these technologies though and I will finally be able to realize a dream (provided the car ahead of me can do the same) of mine - the ability to tell the person riding along in the left lane 15 miles under the speed limit how I really feel in real time.
"Car please contact liscence plate ST XXX-XXXX, I have something I really want to tell them" -

Pfffttt... easy enough to fix; /info_self is your friend and I need to log all my toons on anyways. Thanks for the heads up

Quote:I'd sign up for that, especially if it also involved shaking down old ladies for thier SS checks as one of the missions! What we need is Westin Phipps (co-op) Strike force where everybody gets to team up and go to Praetoria to kick their puppies, paint crude pictures on their clockwork and grab anything not nailed down (with a "crowbar" temp power for the items that are nailed down). All to support the war effort of course.

Hopefully the Omega slot will mean the return of City of Blasters and all you other ATs can wither and blow away! Muhahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!... Well a Blaster can hope can't he

Start chugging the beer Adrianne, can't be Wonder Woman without a set of Wonders! Otherwise she seems like a good choice, dont know about the premise of the show though? Seems destined for a short life.
