  1. Alright thanks, wasn't certain, but fire/ss/lolfossilize it is I suppose.
  2. I still think mu bolts are worth their weight if you want to go that direction, plus you can't rely on them like some nub stalker and still need to learn to AS. AS is still unresistable so you can still do plenty of damage with it.
  3. My only ranged attack on my stalker is mace beam -_-

    But yea, as nice as PB is I really like tactics on my therm, even if only for MA/HE in 8v8s so my vote is for hiber also
  4. I am not really certain which primary I want to go with (decided on SS for rage probably, but not 100% sold on that either so would take suggestions on that as well) because a few seem like they could be pretty reasonable in both.

    Elec - Reasonable resists including psi, drain/tp res, a heal now, but no KB protection to really speak of imo

    Fire - decent resists esp fire, bu, slow res, but a heal that isn't as great in zones now b/c of HD

    Ice - slow/kb res, perception, a great heal / hp boost, and hibernate (could go leadership instead of phase if I wanted or even something else), but not terribly survivable outside of being a bag of hp

    Invuln - very solid s/l/psi resists, kb prot, great heal, but no percep and needs a lot of powers

    WP - QR (could go staminaless OR have plenty of end), worse res than invuln, but not bad at all to s/l/psi, bag of HP even with SOs, and good regen too



    And I assume for a patron my choices are fossilize for damage, (block of ice for mez spike, or no?), FA + perfection for more recovery/percep, or possible even fire for MA, or no to that?

  7. One thing before I look deeper / decide. Your DPS went up when you went to account for the resistance :P

    You should have multiplied by 80%
  8. Right I know, but capped def never hurts lol, but I agree debuff res is very nice and important

    SR does bring +20% recharge to the table as far as offence goes which is nothing to scoff at

    And yea, def combined with -tohit has always been a beautiful combination

    I would not mind fire either for the AoE capability, and will definitely take a closer look

    My biggest problem with those numbers and suggestions is that shield seems a lot streakier...sure it would be nice to always have a fully saturated AAO, that might happen especially if I want to solo AVs and the like...
  9. Wow, I did not know that about the proc, that is pretty ridiculous...how is psi ignoring ridiculous exploits?

    And yea, I've stalked since I could pvp and I know all about placate being wonky.

    Does DR destroy the +recharge and +res of those sets even too?

    That's too bad, but I still like my thermal, maybe I can atleast try and contribute lol

    What does HD stand for mac? I understand the other two

    And yea, I know the taunt buff or whatever helps them, but ah, didn't think about heal decay helping melee out more, that makes a lot of sense though

    What changed about them letting them deal so much from range though...?
  10. Thanks a bunch werner, I had completely forgotten about they pylon thread, that is definitely a much more useful tool than arbitrary calculations for me atleast for now if I'm not making those calculations...

    And yea, dark vs fire they both have their pros and cons and I will have to decide on them, but I do have a pretty relevant question. I am assuming all of those pretty high DPS numbers for shield scrappers are with a fully saturated AAo or close to the 10? While nice that is not really a standard sadly...

    And right I'd definitely want survivability also, but that shouldn't be terrible with whatever I pick.

    But no, I'm not necessarily sold on super reflexes, just back when I made it I thought it would be the best for raw ST DPS not to mention easy to softcap.
  11. I know it was back when it came out (about when I quit), but a lot has changed and been proliferated and I really want to continue / make a new x/sr scrapper for raw dps / AV soloing and the like

    Yea, figured they would stick around for atleast a little, I've always loved therm for dueling anyway
    Is that because damage > buffs no or because no one is a team player anymore?
    Why is melee so good/easy now, what did they change?
    And haha, figured kd/ku would reign after the acro nerf, but that is ridiculous

  13. Max - yea that's what it looks like and I've been noticing, too sad about competitive pvp though, guess that means I'll really have to move on over to freedom...

    What's new as far as the flavors now? I figure fire/ blast has gone by the wayside, emp/pain/therm is still popular, melee is still lol, and mezzes are king now I hear?

  14. Yea, for those of you that can even remember that far back I've been gone since i9? i10? somewhere in there.

    If there is still organized PvP I want in, if not, what is still good to play (heck even in pve if anything new is fun), who is still good, I'm assuming I need to finish moving to freedom, and still build for hp, dmg, and rech I assume (obviously for damage toons)
  15. Guys, we need to figure out a way to exploit the game that involves the RSF tech, toggle debuffs, vill patrons, other QoL issues, and anything else we feel needs to be fixed, then people need to complain about how they relate to RMT, THEN they might get fixed.
