  1. What about changing Power 7 from a TAoE to:

    Reverse Strike (or whatever better name you can come up with).
    You reverse the spear and striek your foe in the heat with the butt end.
    Minor Smashing Damage, Mag 4 Stun, Moderate recharge.
    or
    Medium Smashing Damage, 70% Mag 3 Stun, Moderate Recharge.

    Also Power 8 - I cant see how you could "Run Through" a group of foes.
    How about "Spear Pin"?
    You throw your spear impaling your foe to the floor/walls/etc.
    Moderate Lethal Damage, Range 40', Mag 3 immob (12 secs), Moderate Recharge.

  4. Hi all,
    I was speaking with Plant recently and tonight we are planning on running a LGTF for the Notice Of The Wells (NOTW).

    Team forming will start around 8:30pm NSW time once Plant and I are online (got my new hardware so PC gaming is a MUST this weekend lol).
  5. This has been on my "gives me the $#!^" list for a while but recently I was on a team with 2 MM's in the tunnels (Reichman) and I was a melee based toon. While im fighting some mobs the Pets run past me to get into melee range of another toon (another annoying MM Pet issue - http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=252692).

    When I then kill my targets and go to hit the rest I cant as there is a chokepoint/bottleneck/WALL of pets in front of me. Cant jump over them cause im in a tunnel.

    Another issue is being bumped/pushed. Try aligning a Cone attack and just before it goes of a pet pushes me out of alignment so I only hit 1 target.
    Or even worse being pushed OFF a ledge/wall/stairs into the mobs below.

    I know this can be done as the cars/trucks that push players DONT affect pets (my Demon MM was standing with his pets around him on the street and a car went through them and moved me).

    last night Reichman met his match when a bunch of heroes stormed into his underground beauty salon and tore him and his bff's another 2nd, 3rd and 4th hole each. And messed their hair up too.

    In approx 51mins after we after we sang "We Are The Champions (Justicans?)" and started making our way we were back home with a nice cup of warm coco relaxing.

    There were some deaths mainly the Widow who realised that even when well over the soft-cap for defence their lack of HP can translate into dirt-naps.

  7. Im assuming it would be caster (self) only.

    So if it ticks every 10 secs then its much better (from THAT stand point) to put the proc in TT:L rather than Aim.

    Looking at a Crab Build:
    Aim gives +50% ToHit and +50% Damage for 10 seconds once every 90 seconds (no buffs).
    TT:L give +10% ToHit constantly (no buffs).

    The Proc (Unique - so cant slot it more than once ) gives +40% ToHit and +80% Damage (5.25 sec duration).

    Compare both powers fully slotted with Gaussians (50):
    Aim give +78.76% ToHit and +50% Damage and 5% Chance to the Proc every 41.6 seconds (assuming I hit it when it recharges or put it on Auto).
    TT:L gives +15.75% ToHit and 5% Chance for the proc every 10 seconds.

    [NOTE: I full slot Gauusians for the +2.5% Def as well as the other set bonuses]

    If its in TT:L I sacrifice 63% ToHit for 31.6 seconds but gain a 5% chance for +40% ToHit +80% Dam for 5.25 seconds every 10 seconds.

    OK I think I need to think about this when Im not at work...

    Why not put 5 in 1 power and 6 in the other?
    I dont have that many available slots.
  8. Just wondering how often the 2 ToHit toggles (Leadership pool: Tactics and the VEATs Tactical Training: Leadership) tick?

    Reason for asking is Im thinking of putting the Gaussian Chance for Build Up in Leadership instead of Build Up.
    On an average build Build Up is recharging every 40-50 seconds (high recharge builds can be sooner of course) but this is the average for most of my toons.
    As such I get a 5% Chance every 40-50 seconds.

    If I put it in Leadership instead the 5% chance would occur every X secs.
    Its the X im interested in.
  9. Even if they just allow us to view our Vault Salvage it would be a huge improvement.
  10. First up Stone Armor is a S/L Def set so take the Mako's out of Stone Mallet and Heavy Mallet and put in 4x Kinetic Combat instead for 3.75% S/L Def each (7.5% total).

    This alone will raise your S/L Def from 39.9% to 46.9% (Granite form).

    You already have a VERY expensive build (PvP's). I can see you are aiming at +HP
    I dont have time at work to rebuild completely but look at pros/cons with using Sets that grant +S/L Def
    ie:
    2x Rectified Reticle gives +1.875% S/L Def
    6x Gaussians gives +1.25% S/L
    4x Reactive Armor give +1.25% S/L

    Tried that but I prefer having Tough/Weave if for nothing more than the Resistance (33.7% with 11.8% without Tough).

    Having only Maneuvers does still keep my Melee/Ranged above 45% but AoE is way below s/c.
    With Weave (and CJ 2 slotted) AoE is around 43.6% (with Cloaking Device active but in combat).

    I did move the 2nd Boxing slot to Combat Jumping and slotted LotG Defense which gives me 2% more Regen (8% -> 10%).

    Any thoughts on improving it? Main focus is Defense and then MaxHP.

    The current Positional Def values drop by 5.87% when in combat (1/2 Cloaking Device's bonus).

    Spines/WP Build

    Hi all,
    first attempt at an IO'd Scrapper (Im normally Redside).
    Havnt done Spines before and there is little recent data that I could find on the powerset.

    Here is my build for your reviews. It does have 2 Purple Sets which will be replaced with Posi and Devastation until I can afford them (same set bonuses just lesser amounts).

    What have I missed - what could I do better?

    Also include a version that is anchored to the ground so when you hit it it bounces back at you (Mag 5-10 KB).
    Then have a comp for the longest self-KB caused by hitting the BRB and it KBing you (ignores 25pt of KB prot).
    Every 100 KB's it goes into SUPA-BRB mode and the KB Mag increases to 50.
    Every 100 KB's in SUPA-BRB mode engages MEGA-SUPA-BRB with Mag 75 KB.
    Every 100 KB's in MEGA-SUPA-BRB mode engages What-Are-You-Still-Here?-BRB mode with Mag 150 (at this point the ball is tired and wants you to go away).
    Also while you flying away it yells out "You wont BRB" (be right back - get it? see what I did there?)
  19. Hi all,
    last night we joined the X8 gang for some AE fun and took on a specialised group of The Council.

    After we completed that arc we did a short ae mish to end the night - unfortunately it wasnt short and was actually quite difficult (Elec atts were draining our END massively).
    We triumphed at the end but not without quite a few deaths (getting closer to those death badges).

    Next week the PuG ive mentioned a few times will go ahead with Papers and Bank Missions.
    Lets save the streets from the various evil forces out there littering and spitting gum on the footpaths.
