    I swear, at least one of the devs is a history buff.

    Are CoH players older/more mature? The average age of a video game player is mid-thirties, surely we’re not all over the hill. And the faces on CoH faces appear to represent a wide age group.

    Anyway, I was just curious to see if others of you observed thae same overall phenomenon that is the CoH/CoV community.
    I don't think it is the heroic setting/mindset. I know some redsiders who are friendly, including myself. If the mindset theory was correct, redsiders would be at least twice as nasty as WoW's community.

    It is possible that there are more mature gamers here. I have heard it said that WoW has too many 12-year-olds.

    I think that another good reason is the size of the community. It is nowhere near the size of WoW and I think it gives the game a small family feel.

    Doesn't mean I'm not crazy though
    There are two types of crazies in the world: the fun-loving crazies and the homicidal crazies.

    I hope so, seeing that the devs have been building them up since (technically I11) I expect them to look and feel like a serious threat, not just to Paragon City, not just to Primal Earth, but to the entire Multiverse!
  5. Yeah, I honestly miss those old origin-specific missions. Made your Origin MATTER.

    I feel just a tiny bit resentful every time I make a new non-Praetorian hero. I really miss Gregor telling them Azuria is crazy. I wish, probably in vain, I know, that they would create a new 0 to 50 series of story arcs that involve rebuilding GC. Only then will I forgive them for destroying it.
    Actually, I kinda agree. I miss having a different contact based on what origin I chose.

    I must agree. The only things I don't like are the fact that we don't have the OPTION to fight on behalf of Emperor Cole if we WANT to roleplay as steadfast Loyalists.

    And AE farms (Granted, that's something the devs had little control over and they did the ONLY thing they could to keep them in check. The reason why I'm saying this is because I actually USE AE for what it was SUPPOSED to be used for. I appreciate creative writing and creative design and AE farms are not only NOT creative, they seem to overshadow everything that IS creative in the AE.

    Sorry, /vent.

    ?????

    The Resistance are the PRO-Freedom faction in Praetoria. If there is an anti-American faction in Praetoria, it should NOT be the Resistance. Granted, some of them use borderline (or beyond-borderline) terrorist tactics, but even those Resistance members have the INTENT of freeing Praetoria even if their METHODS are a bit twisted.

    Actually, I am more excited about Nature Affinity and Bio Armor because I can think of concepts for those. Not really with Water Blast, strangely enough. Hoping they make a Water Manipulation powerset sometime.
  11. Patience. There are likely some bugs with it still, but it will PROBABLY be released before I24 since none of that content is on beta and we don't even know WHAT will be in I24 content-wise.
  12. I used to do that with Statesman on the OLD ORIGINAL Loading Screen.
  13. Is it possible to add a couple new features to the Arachnos Soldier costume set:

    The Arachnos Soldier Cape (Not the Arachnos Symbol Cape with the CoV Collectors' Edition) is uncolorable.

    PC Wolf Spiders need a "No Helm" Option.

    This. Give me a "retro" desktop computer to play CoH. I can be without CoH long enough to do whatever requires me to be away from my desktop.
  17. Ah. I did check it up on Paragonwiki and so, I deleted that post.

    Any chance of a Water Manipulation secondary for Blasters? This would be nice.

    I agree. I like Skyway's design and atmosphere, as well as Boomtown's.

    [B][U][SIZE=5]Minor Aesthetics

    The first is the TPN trial. In the cutscene where HD interviews Maelstrom, I feel that the power he uses seems a little... over the top? While his back would be to the camera, I think the Executioner's Shot would work far better in terms of animation than Dual Wield. It seems so much more casual, so much more relaxed, and portrays Maelstrom's confidence more than an exagerated twirl and crouch, which to me, seems almost comical rather than intimidating.

    The second would be the the Keyes Reactor Trial. While it seems like a no brainer, I don't think the proper reaction to time being frozen is to start choking (unless it was some kind of comical alternative, in which case, it works perfectly)

    While equally comical, it would probably work better to use the frozen animation, as it would have the proper, statuesque appearance to time being halted.

    Anyway, as for what I'd like to see, there are one or two things that come to mind, but the gist of it would be items that permit us more functionality, such as an AE terminal, with contact hologram and simulation entrance. Another could be the addition of an Auction House conduit, and maybe some invention tables.

    [SIZE=5]Story

    [SIZE=2]Perhaps it's been suggested before, but some exclusive contacts and other content for Rogues and Vigilantes would be sweet, as well as possibly some potential to join significant villain groups if you're a bad guy to unlock some exclusive costumes and other items. I'd love it if my Warshade had the oportunity to join the Council.
    These definetly.

    Rikits? Do you mean Rikti? Apparently, for some reason, the Rikti never attacked Praetorian Earth, only Primal Earth.

    Also, both Primal and Praetorian Hamidon have the same motivation: the eradication of humanity, therefore both are evil.
  24. It is also possible that the Hamidon Wars led to the geography of the United States (And the world) being MASSIVELY transformed. I mean, look at Eden. If PRIMAL Hamidon could do that, what is the PRAETORIAN Hamidon capable of?
