Just as a crazy thought wouldnt it be nice if both bases had a PFF (personal force field) around them? Or a Base Force Field......attacks in an out both get nerfed, so no gimping people either way.

We also have tons of tech and need arcane.

Just as a thought, might have worked better if in each instance the number of villains or heroes entering was capped?

Eg 100 total people in zone.

50 heroes and 50 villains. Would probably have made for a much nicer fight.

As I recall there is a way to set all combatants to a set lvl. So am figuring making everyone lvl20 would be good. However it is open to all.

Well my take on the battle, was it actually started off ok. I got owned a few times as a squishy dominator waiting for the rest of my team to turn up but hey.

Eventually we all went into sirens 3, was only place we could all get in. Anyway wasn't too bad, to start not too laggy, had a couple of nice fights, slightly outnumbered but none the less good scraps.

Then sadly it all got lagalicious, a huge orange army stomped up to the villain base and trashed the defences. Even sure some of the arbiter drones were mission (though that could have been graphics lag by that time). Though bout the time, I started ending up in hospital abd being dead by time my screen refreshed kinda ended the event for me.

All-in-al, think it was a nice idea, but needs a better execution (and server).

Yeah that will help some, secure bases would be a nicer option.

This saturday at 17:00GMT the dagger boys will be running the latest in their series of Christmas events.

This event will have a more "combative" feel than the last ones. This event will be a royal rumble, last man standing in the Port Oakes arena. Whoever the Ironman/woman/creature is that walks out of this villain fight club alive gets 500,000 Infamy.

I think dominators need to have tanks hp, and defences, defiance like a blaster with scrapper crits Then we would be ok in pvp Not too fussed about AS tho.

Well while I have a stalker, haven't actually PvP'd on it. However have done a fair amount of PvP on both my corruptor and my dominator. Chunk of the time people just arent happy about being really badly beaten by someone.

Good thing to remember tho, is that some of the people out there are really helpful and quite friendly (its a game after all, and we all out to have fun!). I know my first outing into sirens, I was all geared up to go and destroy heroes with my uber villain powers........ok so it went horribly wrong....repeatedly. So I asked one of the folks there if I could test some stuff out, see where I was going wrong. (Was warshad-obot as it happened). A couple of respecs later, suddenly am doing loads better. When I noticed that I killed Spurr a couple of times, I had a good chat with him and let him shoot me a bunch. After all playing against folks who can kill you is much more fun.

Lol I even congratulate folks on killing me if it was a good job.

Equally I went into sirens on a dominator built with PvP in mind, and sadly received some abusive tells, because I wouldnt stay and "fight".

Oh and my best pvp experience, a big hero and villain party on the beach in sirens after a big fight. Everyone sat aorund chatting Of course some new folks came into the zone and tried to jump us and got nuked, then told off by their own side for being rude........most funny

Should be there as either flick of flash, though prolly wont be on until 6ish.

Lol is ok I would go for you first too Kill the support characters first (and those who look better than you). Once they are dead the rest gets a lot easier

In PVP zones it puts you back where you died or right outside the mission you died in

Have to say like my dom, perhaps even more than my corruptor. Althought killing stuff yourself is nice "therapy". Certainly not having much issue getting into groups, and while I cant really kill much myself in a timely manner, I sure make it easy for everyone else.

ID is great for pvp not so useful for PvE due to the 30 sec duration on it.

Fulcrum Shift, is awesome tho With the heal, end heal and fulcrum shift, you can pretty much tank groups of yellows and oranges with no issues at all.

Damage isnt that high for a corr of ice, however the secondary effects are really nice for pvp.

Aye come back, I had complaints from folks about me using tp and holds in PvP and running away when they attacked me. As various people have commented, some folks just dont like to come of second best. Personally 90% of the time when I get faceplanted, I have a chuckle and say "nice one" (in a kind of muffled by the tarmac voice). Is all about having fun.

Well this went really well, 4 of the lvl 40 Dagger Boys, pulled a heist. The heat got to much and we all went to ground in Cap Au Diable having stashed our loot. Each of us having a clue as to where our loot was to be found once things calmed down for us.

After half an hour or so of Cap being scoured by people looking to steal our hard "earned" cash. The eventual winner was Termanatrix, about 2 seconds ahead of mkii.

Termantrix won the prize of 500,000 infamy, however a special 100,000 prize was given to mkii, for being so close.

Edwin Jace also won a 500,000 prize for being the first member of the Dagger Boys to find us all.

Great fun everyone, now to arrange the next contest!

Yeah is a touch odd, but guess some folks happy hiding behind mobs. Then again some folks not happy about being killed in PvP zones, so takes all. If anyone wants to try a friendly base raid, so can test stuff out, lemme know tho. Nice SG activity, half time change bases.

Well if it helps to give some idea, a broadsword scrapper can 1 shot me if they crit, and an energy blaster can snipe about 85% of my health

And bear in mind most of the stalker are running on +3 SO's.
