personally i think this is rubbish.Mat forget what people say about you using your powers as smart and efficient as possible.This should never put you off from having fun in the PvP zones. Clear mind and deceive are perfectly valid powers and noone can tell you that they ruin the fun. If they have issues they should learn play better like getting powers that resist confuse or grabbing maybe some extra stealth or invis. Its ridicilous to leave pvp for reasons like that. If that was the case all the PvPers should have left the zones by now.You are a really good player you know your powers and AT's really damn well and been around far longer than most, plus your attitude in the PvP zone is always respectable and unprovoking and fair. There is no reason to even consider such a thing

i would try to form my own responce, but now that i think about it i would just end up repeating what has already been said .
By all means if you want to level your stalker go ahead, but if your basing your opinion to stop pvp with your hero upon some villains view that your making things too hard for them. Remind the villain that its in a open pvp zone.

Sorry to hear Matron, I normally in SC for short spells and i appreaciate the buffing you do to heroes, be it im always leaping about and at times might not even know im CM'ed. I'm sure your CM has helped many a time, and CM is not a long duration buff but its nice to have.
For all those who say you are cheating i find that to be rubbish as you in SC for a bit of fun, and the villains have grown to fear your abilities.
I say let it be like water off a ducks back and dont worry about their comments. Im sure the villians are just plain worried. And im sure decive has a short duration as well so for a few mins the villian can kill their pals
But its good to have some extra perception be it for a few mins or so. 
Hope you dont stay away to long as them along with us will miss you.

Don't give up playing Matron in Sirens because of a few idiots who obviously don't know the meaning of PvP. You are an illusion/empath and you play you're role pretty damn well. If it weren't for people like you causing distractions and playing the support role at the same time PvP would become too easy and very quickly boring.

Sorry, using confuse is cheating? Theres some right morons in PvP zones.
Case in point: Two Masterminds and a Stalker in Bloody Bay. Me and Hobo charged in, I turned the Masterminds into fodder while Jack slowed them to hell and back, and then we obliterated the Stalker. Got a tell shortly afterwards:
"You [censored] [censored], we were having a [censored] 3v3."
My response: well sucks to be you, you just got owned 2v3 
I'll say the people that told you this were sore losers. There's nothing wrong with using what you got.
If that was the case I'd have to say all stalkers were cheating cuz they can AS and kill me in one hit when i dont have a toggle on..pfft please thats just being silly and don't you listen to silly peeps or sore losers 
you use your powers to maximum annoyance levels which means you are certainly doing something right Personally I will be pleased to see you on the stalker side but dont allow yourself to be chased off against your wishes by anyone.

If using decieve is cheating then surely using seeds of confusion must be too! Its used on me often enough and although its a pain, (especially to any heroes standing near me, confused quills ftw!) its perfectly valid and I'm not gonna send nasty tells to whoever uses it.

I know its been said before here and I have to agree with TG (bah humbug). You shouldnt let it bother you folks moaning about you using your powers for what their for. Thats what an illusion controller is for after all - decieve is fun and clear mind is a saver from hold on either side (darn we dont get it...)
A lto of folks need to have a wee think about what PvP is for and how AT's act there - stalkers stalk - controllers hold etc etc - is it that hard?
Personally the nonsence about stalkers being overpowerd is ridiculous enough but when you realise ppl like you tip that balance back with your powers it makes sense to keep going. Stalkers have weaknesses just coz you prey on them doesnt make you a cheat - what a [censored] thing to say to someone anyhoo - tell 'em to come closer(within range) and say that Muah ha ha ha ha

Honestly m8 follow the advice of the others that have posted. I remember a few nights back in BB if was loving the confuse because i could then turn around and blast Chels and Gunny :-) We never did manage to can you but you add some flavour and enjoyment to what was otherwise poor play followed by some moaning by a few others about Chels bubble. Your fun to team with and fun to play against, im sure anyone worth his salt feels the same.
Well, what can i say but thanks for all the support shown here. I do feel a bit of an idiot for 'throwing my toys out of the pram' in such a public mannor tbh, I should have simply stayed away for a bit rather than moaning on the forum here. I do have to say tho, I'll still be seering clear of the PvP zones for a while, tho i'll no doubt return once the withdrawal symtoms get to much.

What can I say? Some people are just obnoxiously unintelligent sometimes. Fair enough they might have been annoyed, but a person can only take so much hassle before they just want out, right?
As it was said, if you cant use CM, then stalkers cant use hide, controllers cant use any holds, brutes and tankers dont get use toggles, blasters cant used ranged attacks.. and so forth. If you have powers, use them. Be brutal, but dont deliberately ruin the fun for others where you can help it.
The only thing you shouldnt do in PVP is deliberately try to get people into debt, or deliberately ruin their fun. If they happen to find it boring getting whupped all the time, then that is an unfortunate consequence, but calling a power a cheat is just blatant idiocy. I could understand it, if someone was seriously going over the top (mental image of a stalker surrounded by 30 people with "grant invisibility", and a pile of bodies in the safe zone, just behind the zone gate), but this is just it, CM is a common power amongst the users of your powertype..
If they have a problem, they really should just come here and write in the suggestion forum, proposing ways to balance stuff up, or make things more enjoyable. Just... bah, ignore them where you can, there will always be people trying to make you look like a troublemaker.

These type of people are normally the ones that cant stand others got a power that could possible beat em. They complain bout CM being able to see stalkers, but I bet they wont complain about the major discussions bout whether AS-1shotting people is fair. After all, they win then, dont they?

Oh no, you shouldn't leave pvp because of people like this. Just use their insults/taunts/broadcast banter to broaden the smile on your face when you show them their own beating heart. Beauty to me in pvp is letting my actions speak for me, and if they have been a loudmouth then occasionally a fitting quip when your standing on their dying body

Well Thanks Matron its been a slow afternoon and your post really picked me up I have not Laughed so much in ages, to be accused of cheating by using a power woof real real funny!
I would suggest the next time some buffoon sends an ignorant Tell that your “Cheating” to reply calmly that the power sets are available to all and put him /her on ignore as a complete waste of PvP space.
Perhaps there should be a new exemp system where on entering PvP zones you get dropped to level 1 that may possibly make some people happier then again perhaps not

Hi , no secrets with my play style , just nearly everyone is in there to kill the opposition , i just have a different agenda , my goal is simply to disrupt the villains. I don't normally team , and just bounce around , throwing heals and CM on any passing hero I see that looks like they might need it, and throwing Blind and decieve at any Villains i come accross in the hope that any passing hero will spot them and deal the decisive blow ). I run tactics and IR goggles if available to help spot any stalkers, and as I dont normally have any defensive powers running apart from stealth , I just hope to be out of the villains reach by the time they decide to turn their attentions to me . It mostly works, tho when i do get caught, i often die , and of course, i rarely get kills myself . Still it's mostly good fun, and shows you don't need Uber builds , teams or even defences to make an impact against the opposition .
Aye come back, I had complaints from folks about me using tp and holds in PvP and running away when they attacked me. As various people have commented, some folks just dont like to come of second best. Personally 90% of the time when I get faceplanted, I have a chuckle and say "nice one" (in a kind of muffled by the tarmac voice). Is all about having fun.
