I can't figure out how to combine the afk bind (/bind enter "afk your message$$startchat") with an emote. It has to be so easy that I am missing it! Anyone know?

Aurora Borealis - Just thought the bracers and mask toughened her up a bit and the new sci-fi pieces went with her esthetic. Also like the earlier idea of incorporating a piece of Psy in the new uniform.


Infernal - Never a big fan of the medieval look. Newer armor and a bit more wickedness.

Ms. Liberty - A more mature look incorporating parts of her whole lineage.

Swan - Bit more mature look, but still sexy. Feather cape for her namesake and a bit of black (love the earlier posts addition of black).


Valkyrie - Good chance to spotlight the valkyrie pieces and renovate the armor.

Woodsman - If he's going to take a physical form, I think he would go for plants and not flesh. Hard wooden pieces for 'armor' and softer vegetable matter for the fleshy parts (kinda like swamp thing/man-thing).

Just thought I'd throw something in. Great contest!

I wanna know who Pristine is. Every since I was a noob and ended up in the hospital (again, can't remember which city...) she's been half dead laying there. And I thought, "Man! Did I look like that when I popped out of the mediporter?" Click her and there is no info... Maybe you remember her; she has a pretty cool purple costume and the Dr.s all think she's gonna die...Poor girl...

I am on the fence as far as the original intent of this thread. On one hand I think a marker for freebs could come in handy for people running groups or who feel the need to be in a non-free chat situation. On the other hand I can see this as a 'scarlet letter' of potential (albeit silly) segregation with VIP's who would rather not team with a freeb for various reasons. I wouldn't exactly blame them, they paid for the game and the freeb didn't, but it can potentially cause them to miss out on a good teammate. As it is, I have teamed with freebs who were better than the VIP's on the team and had superb bios to boot. I would hate to have someone miss the chance to team with those people because of their short-sightedness.

Ok. Here's a question: If a freeb is invited to an SG and permitted to use storage, could they not use this storage to get around their lack of in-game trading with VIP's and Preems? I assume they can't use inventions since they can't make them...right? What about IO's? Special Salvage (event salvage, heck reward merits for that matter)?

Another thing that has appeared is the very top portion of my window is flickering. IDK....

Hey all. My taskbar has recently (this week) started changing colors (blue/black/orangish?) when playing in windowed mode. It didn't do this before and there hasn't been an update this week (that I remember). Anyone have this problem come up?

I'd settle for just using the throw animation we have for taser/mutagen/throwing knife/etc. with the effect afterwards. Same range as those even. Be great for Batman/gadgets type toons.

Is there a power that will give you a fire trail when you fly? Someone hit me with, I believe, Ember Shield and when I flew I had a decent flame trail behind me. Would be cool if we could have that all the time.

Hi all. I am experiencing occasional whiteout of certain blocks (buildings mostly) after playing for awhile and being around a lot of AoE users or flying around the city. I start to feel some lag and then spy a whited out chunk of background as I turn or something. Things get progressively worse and then crash with an assertion failure.
My system: Macbook Pro, OS 10.7.3, 4GB Ram, Intel HD graphics
My Settings: Shadows-lowest, Water-low, reflections-off, physics & texture- medium, character texture-high, world detail-89%, shader-high, suppress fx-on

What is the culprit of assertion failure usually? I've heard it is graphics and have lowered settings, but it does still happen occasionally.

Is it just me or does anyone else that RP's in Pocket D walk up to the railing upstairs and want to lean forward on them? It seems like a natural pose to me. Of course, thinking about it...some of those guys in there would take advantage of such a thing...
