There's the new Blazing (i think is the name) path aura that is available from the vet reward program, but its a little high up on it. Some of the regular auras might do something similar, but not sure if any of the fire-based ones do.
Same for some powers. You may want to look at Thermal Shields, or Fiery Aura for fire-based shield powers.
I've tried the Blazing Path Aura, but the effect remains below you when you move into the flight pose, so it no longer comes from your feet.
One of the Prestige Sprints looks kind of like a firework, maybe that will work. Or you can craft Rocket Boots if that fits the concept. The first option is a Paragon Reward; the second requires the Invention System.
Thermal Shield/Plasma Shield from Thermal Radiation are buffs you could have been hit with. Ember Shield comes from an Ember Demon from the Demon Summoning MM Powerset, and is basically a Thermal Shield cast by a pet. Only the one from the pet can be cast on yourself though, the thermals are ally-only. Your other option for being wrapped in fire would have to be a melee toon, using Fiery Aura.

Is there a power that will give you a fire trail when you fly? Someone hit me with, I believe, Ember Shield and when I flew I had a decent flame trail behind me. Would be cool if we could have that all the time.
