damage rebalancing + essentially 0 free resists for a scrapper + dominate/mesmerize = lolololkk.
you can have a 10 billion inf build, you're still gonna get rocked by any dom or well played fort.
and 3 out of every 10 toons in RV is generally a mind dom of an assorted flavor. -
a claws/regen will work too.
you just can't put focus on your tray, and concentrate on AS's and shark-trowing. -
the tanker, with accos, won't be squishier than a regen.
it requires that you spend money, but once you do that, it can't be bet (except maybe by therms and heavy debuffing corrs with sharks). -
late to the party but here it is.
this is what i'm using for RSFing (tested it out yesterday with a team that included one of those special ed brutes that takes 3 days to respond in chat and has no clue what's happening 95% of the time), and it worked pretty well.
make note of the 49% acc bonus on top of the recharge (95% rolls on the AVs are key) and the decent hp (for pve) just in case you get hit by an AV (you can take one shot from numi without dying.).

if your concern is the issue of ties and not sharks, there is no way that a line-up that includes a fort/bane and an emp will not be able to to counter a full stalker lineup that isn't sharking you every 10 seconds.
ask gmw (vert was there). they tried it against ujl when they didn't have enough people.
we brought 2 storms, a trapper and 2 forts. we got at least 2 kills that match (not bad for a v vs. v). if ujl can do it, anyone can. -

instead of looking for a melee duel in siren's NE corner, you're asking for a team duel with conditions that tilt it towards the side of anyone who cannot time an 8 stalker shark attack (hey, welcome to i13+, low skill requirements are low skill requirements) because you don't wanna fight something that is obviously above your standard toon roll-up. (standard blaster jump team vs. eight stalkers).
can we ban power boost too? i mean, if there's anything that comes to close to ranged crit spikes from stalkers is pb stuns from dominators, sonic|rad/pain corrs and sonic/em blasters, right?

guess you missed the part where i cursed at the toon (peril basically wiped the floor with me on his mind/thorns), and spent a week pl-ing, io-ing and accolading a sonic/cold.
fire doesn't stun.
fire is resisted by everyone and their mother.
a duel build for a fire/cold corr is extremely different from a team build (phrozen sky is a team build). that is not the case with a sonic/cold.
sonic blast on a corr with two blasters spiking with you = extremely huge damage. that basically means that you can shut down an emp, and lock into the spike for something better than fire's little lone trick: a scourging blaze (which is trash compared to a scourging cosmic burst or scourging shout if you want to go that route). -

i guess it's a troller so the cage is less bad, but if i had that toon, and i wasn't emotionally attached to it (as i am to my fire/sonic corr), i'd gut it and roll something else.

last time i fought a stone melee tanker, i went into rest and it couldn't take me down... on a dark/cold corr.
