TBH i dont really like any of the ones you mentioned, but if you really want a new toon I would ask you:
Do you have a pain corr, therm corr, and cold corr? I would try one of those cause they are pretty fun. If you're going cold i would go dark, and if you really dont like dark then go sonic.
i hate playin the role of a buff bot or healer..dark/cold sounds fun but i dont like pain or therm cuhz peeps get mad when i dont heal or buff em....i have an elec/therm but he is purely for 1v1 duels...aight so i decided on a x/cold corr..what are the advantages of dark/x over fire/x and sonic/x ?
I'd go sonic but that is just me.

big fan of /colds but I13's slow nerf hit them pretty hard. I still like playing my cold but they did get hit with the I13 stick.

not sure why you would not like mind on a troller if you like mind on a dom >.> - mind therm is a great pvp toon and can be built different ways as a sole survivor 1v1, blend or team build.
Also I like mind/cold and cold/cold trollers (look up messiah mage to see how bad *** a troller can be).
mind/ea doms are good too with powerboosted stuns, and their tf is insane.
i am not sure why i dont like mind/x trollers..they feel way to underpowered for me...maybe im just stoopid but i can never bring myself to level one up

fire doesn't stun.
fire is resisted by everyone and their mother.
a duel build for a fire/cold corr is extremely different from a team build (phrozen sky is a team build). that is not the case with a sonic/cold.
sonic blast on a corr with two blasters spiking with you = extremely huge damage. that basically means that you can shut down an emp, and lock into the spike for something better than fire's little lone trick: a scourging blaze (which is trash compared to a scourging cosmic burst or scourging shout if you want to go that route).

my second acct has most of my pvp toons.. so that means i dont have to RV wit my farmers wit pvp builds.. and now it is time for a new toon!!! but i cant decide on what to make..
I want a zone-friendly toon, with a nice amount of dmg/survivability...this toon will be mostly for zone and the occasional nightime KB's..
so far i was thinking along the lines of:
mind/em dom (already have a mind/fire)
fire/cold corr (barriers Phrozen Sky inspired me
fire/therm troller (i dont like mind/x trollers...they dont appeal to me)
and i was also thinkin of a ill/storm purely for the coolness factor...but havent seen one of these outside of PvE and not sure how they would pvp..ill looks like it would lack in dmg..
aight so any advice and comments would be helpful...money isnt an issue since i enjoy farming and tend to do fairly well in market PvP..
