con, joey and i were getting camped a few days ago by like 4 fire mastery scrappers.
i brought out my crappy storm with no kb protection.
within 3 mins i was setting up stuff in front of the hero base.
it's really funny when you see those blazes just go away from you as a tardo scrapper sits in your hurricane at melee range. -

Fossilize hits like a truck. KO blow has 15 foot range. You even have that one really bad attack where you throw a rock.
It's why SS has always been the ultimate downie melee set (KO blow has a 15 foot range and half of them complain about not being able to land melee attacks). But don't let that turn you away from it's newfound functionality.
IF you do roll an SS tank. Please, for the love of god, don't make your toon have capped height. If you make really tall SS tanks there is a 95% chance that you are really dumb. -

As far as what AT is better as of now, that's Brutes no questions about it. Before the Dom changes and difficulty options, I much preferred my Fire/Psi over my SS/Fire though.
Back then, my best money making farm was the nemesis platform which my Dom cleared significantly faster than the Brute (4-5 minutes opposed to 7-8 minutes). A part of the reason was that I had to herd with the Brute, but with the Dom I just popped inspirations like a mad man along with Fire Cages and the outrageous range of PSW.
that 30 mill number counted drops.

I admit i never really died on it...i just got so use to having swift and hurdle on my wp that it felt like my regen movement speed was SOOOOO slow, that mixed with the heals still trigger movement supression....it was really fustrating. Movement to me is a big deal.....i can't stand having a slow toon.

there's no way your WP is more survivable than an instant healing regen that can ignore psy/ems pelting on him while IH runs, with two heals just in case aim and build up come up. -

also, i wonder, when you AS, do bad archery blazing arrows come out? -
if you're only 2v2ing a case can be made for going sharks and hiber on the rad/pain.

if that's not plainly obvious to you, you really must have some bad brain damage going on right there.
finally, if you're running out of end doing drive by AS's, you should really look into your slotting. something definitely wrong there.
