Claw/WP

I'm thinking that RttC is probably pretty worthless for PvP so I was going to drop it unless there is a good reason to put it in my PvP build?

And Follow up seems like a skippable power unless you are maybe doing fight club? Being that most of the time in zone PvP the only attacks that are getting used are the ranged ones (Focus & Laser Eyes). Any input would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. This is a scrapper btw.

Well, I don't feel like making another scrapper. I don't have the time. I know this isnt one of the builds you see everyone using, but its what I have. So since i am going to use it advice on the question asked would be appreciated.

Clawlz is just bad.

Evisercate is the hardest hitter at like base 151.4 Damage and a 2.33 cast time.

Broad sword, fire melee, and Martial arts all have better attacks that do more damage and in some cases even activate quicker (Fire Melee for sure) Beyond that Claws has no build up which makes the damage even worse. I'm pretty sure that spamming focus and LBE won't even over come the base regen of a pain corr.

The only thing WP really is, is a pile of HP. The tanker version at least gets 3200 versus the 2400 of the scraps (Both are still bad) Regen is the way to go ATM and in a distant distant second place Fiery Aura.

Really it'd be like going into a fight with both hands tied behind your back and your shoelaces tied together. If you are sold on a scrapper, MA/Regen Fire/Regen and BS/Regen are the way to go, get phase shift and webnades, use both to make other zone meleer's rage.

Bonker is pretty good at his claws stalker >.>.

Stalkers get AS and BU.

I have a claws/regen scrapper, and it's a joke now.

What part of no time to level another toon do you people not understand?

To the OP, yes follow up is completely skippable unless you do fiteklub. If you do fiteklub or melee vs melee duels, that toon is actually pretty good at it. But in any zone or team arena, you will probably just be getting Focus and LBE off, if you feel like getting a melee attack I'd at least get the starting power and the hardest hitter (i guess thats evisc?). If you plan on Fiteclubbing then pick up followup and your choice of melee attacks, once again I think claws/WP will do pretty good in FC, but then again its hard to beat regen without debuffs.

I'd build mostly for HP and get accolades, since WP has a +hp power inset you can probably softcap yourself without too much effort.

Go ahead and grab phase, and make sure you have some perception before going into the zone. You can probably do some OK damage with Focus and Lazer Eyes, but like everyone has said it wont be much compared to other sets. At the very best you could make good stalker bait as you will have alot of HP (if you build right), and I guess you could pick up taunt from scrapper pool to keep annoying doms/corruptors off your teammates.

I will recommend SS and SJ, SS to protect from webs destroying you and SJ to web (if you wanna switch from Body mastery to Weapons, web is pretty useful as is caltrops sometimes).

Good luck on your build and have fun

wait why would you not take RTTC? Isn't that the one that destealth's stalkers that get in range? you can slot for health or put in dark watchers for additonal - to hit. I think some claws attks do - def so you can slot cheap procs and if you crit so much the better.

Because it de-toggles everytime you get mezzed. (Because its such an evil attack aura for its -ACC I was told)
And then has quite a timer, and has a high activation time during which you are even rooted.

And since you ALWAYS get mezzed in PvP ALL the time, even if its just for a fraction of a second and you dont even notice, and reactivating it IF you notice takes forever, RttC is perma-off in PvP.

i will have to agree with barrier on this one (as much as it pains me). If your really determined to roll a scrapper. Fire/Regen/Body, it can't be beat...unless you fight a really good sonic/thermal/mako corrupter...just ask silit.....GG dex GG.

Although for RP purposes...i have to say Targeting drone > FA. We all know barrier like's some good ole fashion RP from time to time....that's why he goes to Virtue

Actually the issue is webs+shuriken vs LBE. With webs, you do still get a ranged attack. It's not as good as LBE, but together with webs I think they're better.
