I'm thinking it'll be something that causes Praetoria and Primal to put aside their differences (as is the classic comic book hero/villain/even worse than villain plot), and fight a bigger threat to both their worlds. They find that when it comes down to it, all they both want is peace, Cole wedgies statesman, the end.

One of the Oro arc missions, the one where you save Lazarus from the shivans, involves you destroying a meteor that apparently plays a factor in TCS.
Also, this tidbit of info from P-wiki:
- Theory: Since the Ouroboros zone has features of both the Shadow Shard and Primal Earth, it is possible the "Coming Storm" is a successful Rularuu invasion. Perhaps part of Rularuu's escape from the Shadow Shard involves "bleeding" the two worlds together. Though this doesn't necessarily explain the Shivans, which are supposedly heralds of the invasion. This could mean that the Shivan meteors are from the Shadow Shard, but a point that Portal Corp hasn't gotten to yet (thus is not yet known).
- Theory: If the above theory is true, it is possible that Earth's oceans rose to a point where the entire planet's surface was covered with water, with the Rularuu invasion having the effect of creating the asteroids around Ouroboros. Thus, the moon would still be affected by the Earth's gravitational pull, and the elements that appear to belong to the Shadow Shard would still be explained.
(sorry bout the blue on blue, straight copypasta....) -
Anyone else a Kant fan?
"Â…democracy is, properly speaking, necessarily a despotism, because it establishes an executive power in which 'all' decide for or even against one who does not agree; that is, 'all,' who are not quite all, decide, and this is a contradiction of the general will with itself and with freedom." -Immanuel Kant
I suppose that could speak for either side either way, couldn't it? -
Quote:It's awesome when you get a crabstermind goingHas any of you fell in love with patron pets?
My Dual Blade Stalker took Mace Three Spiderlings pet. Do you know each of them has more health than my Stalker's base health?!!!! That's kinda sad. Anyway, I used them quite a bit when I tried to lvl my db stalker to 50. They actually deal pretty impressive damage. -
Quote:I (actually my daughter) named mine Bulbasaur xDAs for the pet I love the most... I have to say Fly Trap. It just looks so freaking cool. It's like a Plant/Spider looking thing. I love it when it bites.
But my fave is my ninjas!!! I love those crazy bastar**!!! I only wish they had screaming kung-fu yells to go with their a**-kicking power. Nothing beats them whpping an entire crowd then following up with supa-ninja-air-guitar-macros!!! -
Quote:just pictured it running around on cartoon legs xDmy favorite manifestation of this is my ar/dev's gun turret bum-rushing spawns, where it rapidly and predictably gets slaughtered.
I've stopped bothering with it until they get this melee craze sorted out.
To OP: Yah my Oni's been getting himself killed trying to spam his fire sword (which looks much cooler with the flaming ninja blade now I must say) but still a pain.
I'd gladly trade this bug in for the elevator one. -
From my own experience with masterminds, they are well-known for their solo ability, so on teams it's even easier. Yes the other MM could have been doing a better job keeping themselves off of the floor. He was even a demon summoner, geez....
Mostly what I do is the opposite of what you do lol. I buff the team and not my pets when teaming, regarding the teammates as my uncontrollable pets and the henchmen as extra disposable damage dealers, but that doesn't mean you were doing it wrong, no one made you sign any "only buff the team" contract after all. how you play is how you play, and some have trouble accepting that.
you're right, screw them -

BC Skunk, my plant/fire dom.
colored the fire breath to all white to make it look like thick white smoke, much more thematic now.
Then colored the plants all different psychadelic colors to match his theme lol. -
Quote:I was beginning to work toward a build that could solo one, cause it's on the list of stuff I haven't done yet, just wondering if it was still doable. I did duo Scrappy on my Nin/Nin stalker wth the help of a DS/DM MM before. Well that's good to knowMost certainly. It's even easier these days with IO sets. Myself, I used a shivan and warburg nukes with my Rad/Sonic defender to defeat a few. I know a duo who defeated Lusca without inspirations or temp powers.
sounds like /RAD is needed for the -regen factor though.

Quote:http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Energy_M...Chance_to_StunHate to be a pain - what is the Stun Proc called so I can add it to Conductive Aura? People talk about it, but I have no idea where to look or what name it's called by.
Thanks.
Here you go
It's only a 10% chance, I've not found it to be too useful.
however, slotting a call of the sandman: chance for self-heal in your static field is pretty useful. It's also 10%, and maybe it's just my luck, but it seems to go off more. -
Can people still solo GMs these days? I once caught a youtube video of someone soloing Krakken on their Ill/Rad Troller, didn't see how old it was though. It only took about 10min, but they had /Rad after all.
-
can't read it due to work-PC limitations, but I'd say 200 mill, cause that's about what a nice cheap build for my plant/fire dom costed

Quote:A good quoteThis describes a tyrant, though it does not describe Emperor Cole. Allow me to present an analogy:
Even in your primitive, barbaric Primal Earth, do you not elect your leaders to govern those who elected them? To select from their ranks a champion to place into a position of greatness? This behavior is, by your own admission, fostering tyranny, though I presume you will decide in disagreement.
Though as I observe your world from my objective vantage point, I see your presidents and prime ministers acting on behalf of only a fraction of the people they pretend to serve. Theirs is an agendum of political merit; to use their influence as provided by their election to impose petty laws on the population in total, all too often to be met with bitter opposition and to nonetheless proceed in their endeavors.
Is this not tyrannical, quarrelsome and otherwise disruptive to the well-being of the people as a whole? It seems to me that your own world cannot even come to agreement on such simple issues, yet you feel the entitlement to point to ours and claim our Emperor to be a tyrant.
This prejudice is inherent in your kind, and you have actively struck out against us in a form of misplaced vengeance for the perceived wrongs of the people of our world. You are beasts, the lot of you, and fitting of the Primal name.
Emperor Cole's victory over your world will be most majestic indeed.
For Praetoria! -

Quote:really? I honestly didn't think that some would actually have the heebeejeebees that bad.Bingo! Insects really freak out some folks so a set like this will never see the light of day I'm afraid. It's an interesting concept but some folks wouldn't even play the game if this set existed.
Just to be a brat, I'm scared of guns firing at me, being set on fire, aliens with swords, and scary demons. Can't see bugs being an issue. -
Maybe Thunderstrike then. Better damage and some Aoe, but not too much to be OP.

*scratches head* so what happens in the case of say, freezing rain or acid arrow? they already lower resistance but take that proc as well. would one cancel out the other if they can't stack?
-
very thematic too. their ST-damage on top of the -resistance from freezing rain would make them cut through mobs like butter. actually, since you're going with bots, the burn patch on top of the freezing rain would be brutal, or Tar Patch if you go with /Dm for that matter.

I've tried, it looks.......ok, but it doesn't look right without the right arm rope part and the collar doesn't match up quite right. The military formal jacket is close but it looks more like an Amestrian with the short trenchcoat instead.
