Just got my beam rifle/time manipulation corruptor to 50. Gotta say it was one of the most fun toons to level up. As a corruptor you have the disinergrate aspect along with scourge. So you are culling the enemies in 2 beneficial ways.

The reason why I chose time manipulation was for the heals, immobility factor with distortion field, and hold factor with time stop. Time stop, plus disinergrate makes for easy killing(Especially with elite bosses,AV's)..

Also you get the toggle defense with Farsight, so I can take some damage.


The one draw back to BR is the draw time. Horrible. It's a rifle, why do you need to drop it before firing again?

The damage output is good, especially with IO's. Also ATO's with overload is awesome.

I will say that if you team alot, you may not get much of a chance to add to the death ratio, as for the time you get 2 shots off after disinergrate, the mob is all but dust from the team.

I found myself healing my team and buffing them more than adding to the death toll.

I've always wanted a Man O War. They look like an awesome alien.

Just got my BR/Time manipulation to 50 and hitting up the incarnate trials. My toon is a Corruptor, so you pair Scourge with disintegrate and it's a lovely combo.

Well, if you've done the Dream Master, Dark Astoria missions, Dream master uses Staff melee/Illusion pets.

Major: Full pet customization.

Minor: Add "chain" as a stand in for whip on Demons set.

I've also noticed the same animation when you accept a "mystic fortune buff" from another player.

What I'm really waiting for??? The day the dev's make Masterminds fully customizable, as in creating your own pets, within a standard design. I wouldn't mind a hybrid type of powerset either, like pistols/swords.

And of course, I'd drool over a shape shifting powerset. If they can do it with the Kheldians, they can expand on it in a powerset.

I have no idea on costumes, but I wouldn't mind seeing that added to it. I'm thinking more of badges, temp powers, buffs, faction only aura's, emotes, etc...

I just see so many people create faction themed toons, and thought it would be a good idea to give them a solid ground for creating and becoming part of that faction.

Hi all. I had an idea the other day while creating a new toon, named Mender Gideon. His back story is he is a mender in training, for a place in Ouroboros. He is a controller, and I paired him with Time manipulation(appropiate) and Gravity.

I tried dressing him as close to a mender as possible(would love the emblem dev's),and it occured to me, I'd love COX to have a faction alignment within the game.

I also have a toon who is a midnighter. I would love the idea that if the player wanted to, they could align themselves with a faction, and maybe get a cool title, and some badges and of course special mission from that faction. Maybe special day job perks for being with that alignment.

It would work for almost every faction within COX. I also have a villian toon based on being a soldier of Raluruu.

I think if you set it up for every 10 levels or so, you would get special missions from those factions.

Anyone like the idea?

I could spend 800pp on a super pack, sell 3-4 ato's in 2 minutes, create a new toon, and be rich 10 minutes later. someone wanna do the math on that verses the 10% inf boost?

Way to overpriced. I'm thinking the marketing peeps got hit with the new "possess power" or this might be an early Aprils fools day prank they are testing

I'd love an april fools day event.

Be fun to be able to give players a gift(prank).

Here are some pranks I'd like to see..

1)If you open a gift(prank) from another player, you turn into a Rikti Monkey(think secondary mutation de-evolution), for 30 seconds, or get hit with another funny costume change.

2)You get a rock.

3)Maybe get a special mission that is very comical.

Even the Rikti have been affected by Stateman's death.

Too many to name..Let me just sum it up by saying this game is awesome.

Really good writing in here..I'd love to see a panoramic picture of Omega Team(with our added toons), gathering before the war.

I was wondering when someone would make a thread like this.


Dear T'Shalla, it I, your beloved Gwon D'ar. The last time I saw you, we were both being herded into separate Rikti Motherships after they invaded our world, the majestic Theolin.

As a peaceful race we had no weapons to combat them. There were only 8 of our people to be enslaved, for we had possessed enhanced abilities, thanks to the symbiotic alien race called the N'gardir. The rest were annihilated.

I know they wanted you for your ability to translate the human language. And mine for the ability to enhance their shields.

I vowed to escape enslavement and rescue you, but another opportunity presented itself. A way to stop the Rikti invasion of this other dimension. A place called Earth.

Oh, you should of seen their race. so much variety and uniqueness. The human race has such compassion and resilience. The Rikti Have no idea what they are up against.

It was a confusing time, when the heroes of this dimension carried my body away the wreckage of the downed Rikti mothership. It was a plan amongst myself and J'ahago.

I knew it may cost me my life, but to sacrifice myself for the greater good is worth it.

I dropped the Rikti shields in just enough time for the human's to provide a counter attack.

2 days later, a particular hero named Hero1 approached me and although I couldn't understand his language, I could sense his despair.
No one on this world was prepared for an invasion of this magnitude. Nothing could prepare them for the Rikti technology, backed by their hated of anything non-Rikti.

Hero 1 knew that I had valuable information on the Rikti, but our lack of communicative interaction was greatly aggravating to us both.

It would of been nice to of had my beautiful translator wife beside me then.

although we could not breach each others language, we did manage to converse the universal way, through pictures, and drawings.

I knew of his plan to defeat the Rikti, even at the cost of his own life. Back in theolin, suicide is shunned upon, but we Theolins do know about self-sacrifice.

I knew he wanted to recruit me into this self sacrificing group. I considered the insanity of losing you. Of never seeing you're shining ebony eyes, or the soft glow of your golden skin again.

But I had him promise, at least the best way I could under the circumstances, to have someone find you when the war was over.

I have no doubt you'd live through this. You're T'Shalla the nagger...haha.

So my beloved, please understand I do this not to be a hero. But to stop the madness of the Rikti from conquering other beautiful races. I do this to perserve life and enable freedom.
I do this to honor our home world, Theolin and pay tribute to all those who have fallen.

I do this to honor my love and devotion to our bonding.

Oh and one last thing. I know you tried to keep the pregnancy a secret, but you told H'karn...Haha, you must never tell him anything.

Let my child know of this desperate act so he can mourn only my lifeless body, but cherish my life,I once lived.

All my love and blessing to you and our child. May the golden light of Theolin shine eternally.
