  1. Trailer was a bit misleading. This issue really doesn't do much of anything at all involving Statesman's death, or will it involve Staff Fighting until way later. Would've liked to have seen more of the awesome content you guys churned out, and some more action shots of Dark Control that didn't involve that stupid dog power.

Still a good trailer, though. Just a little misleading.

I believe this over any other reason out there.
  3. Seems like a lot of work for something that really doesn't contribute much at all.

Please devs, can I have this gun back? ... and available for all rifle sets? ... and if not all rifle sets, specifically for my crab spider?

    Thank you.

    It's back.
  6. The cut scene was nice, but Darrin Wade is just some jobber and we had little to no involvement with the actual death. The storyline to it all was just eh, but I definitely dug the cut scene. It actually made me feel for States, and was very well done. I just wish we could've had some sort of story arc that introduced us to the actual character and showed us what he was like, so we could've had some emotional attachment to the guy.
  7. Street Justice didn't come out until a week after I21, so we might see that with Staff Fighting for I22.
  8. I still love how DR's trying to actually keep Statesman's death relevant with her epilogue to Part 5 and now this, when the devs aren't even going to try to do anything in game with it until I23. They should've planned out his death a little better on the schedule, or at least held a memorial service in game.
  9. It was a really fun event. Lookin' forward to next year's.
  10. Didn't War Witch let slip a long while back that there was another Easter Egg in the RWZ that no one has found yet? Something involving a mail box?
  11. Honestly, we just need some form of advertisement in my opinion. A way to get our name out there better. I'm not suggesting a commercial, but it feels like doing random articles on MMO sites so the same readers who frequent those sites can see what's going on in our game isn't cutting it. Maybe get another article in Game Informer, or other big name magazines?

  13. Gotta agree with Techbot. Just because you're a normal human doesn't mean you should be left out of level 50 content. Otherwise, anyone who chose Natural as an origin wouldn't be allowed past 40. It just all depends on how you use your abilities, and how trained you are.

Honestly, I could see Crey's level 50 enemies being like FF7's Turks. Guys in suits, trained to take on the tough jobs no one else can do, armed with incredible mental and physical training and given advanced weaponry. Works for a corporation, is discreet and not "In your face evil", and can even inject a little more character into the group if done right.

But I just love Crey and would be happy if anything good happened to them.
  14. Caleb has got to be one of, if not the, worst designed zone events.

    Good luck finding the guy.

I'm still failing to see how he took a jab at you at all, but whatever. You obviously just want to get mad over something.

    The Sash

In fact, nuts to the Carnival of Light belt; we need the actual Kheldian sash, which should have been available since Kheldians were introduced. It already works on Male and Female models, though I'm sure "time and resources" are an issue, even though they're "aware of the request."
The Carnival of Shadows use the same exact sash as the Kheldians and PPD Khelds. The new Carnival of Light sash looks the exact same, only is higher definition, since it was actually designed for players and not a few NPCs.

The Kheldian Sash is not unique from the Carnie sash. It is not special. It's just a sash.

And yes, I would also like to see a proper sash available to males. Would look great for martial artists.

Since so may asked I shrunk the back pack and you will be happy to know there is a version of the second back pack without the little pistons so 3 back packs will be available.

Thanks guys for the feedback and comments!
You colored the fins and tip.

    You are my favorite dev.

To be honest, I wasn't even aware you had a thread to begin with. A moon zone is the most popular zone suggestion among these forums, so just because it involves the moon doesn't make it about you.

Specifically a Sexy Jay Costume Suggestion thread that suggested using the F-15 for inspiration and having Folder wings. (Fold out when in flight fold in when on the ground...).

It seems with the bubble helmet you are taking the easy route using the base of the existing "Brain in a Jar."

The armor is ok, but the female outfit is fairly androgynous. It's like you took the argument a few months ago and went in the COMPLETE opposite direction instead of finding a happy medium, but again perhaps this is due to the WIP nature of the reveal. (I do like the female belt with the rocket... )

    Glad to see:
    Bubble Helmet
    new large boots and gloves
The rocket belt on the women (hope that gets ported to the men)
Glowy pieces, albeit the shoulders on the male outfit MIGHT be a bit much.

    Needs Improvement
Bubble Helmets need differing bases I think for variety among other things.
Addition of different textures to the helmet (Metallic as suggested earlier)
I see a LOT of rivets on the space suit for men... that makes me fear that this will be preshaded when done. There have been a LOT of complaints about preshading.
    No brainslug?

In all it isn't Horrible, but it isn't what we the fans asked for... We wanted Judy Jetson, not Plain Jane... and we wanted Flash Gordon, not George Jetson. Maybe a bit of Futurama...

The backpacks look pretty retro sci-fi to me. What you're suggesting kind of doesn't. It seems more high-tech and wouldn't fit well with retro. Not only that, these work well for golden age concepts, and are simpler in design, which is always good. As to preshading, Dink already said there is none. The helmet really doesn't need a new base, and that actually is a new base they're creating. There are only so many ways one can make a ventilator-type costume piece without them looking similar. The female outfit is just fine. It doesn't need to be space-prostitute and have a space corset and thigh highs. No brainslug is a pretty tiny thing to pick a nit over.

It isn't what you wanted. A number of people in these forums have expressed incredible delight in the way these costume pieces of shaped up. And considering the concept behind these costume pieces was actually created by the fans themselves, and then voted on by those same fans, I'd say the fans are getting what they want.

Why don't you try and suggest new ideas (as you did later in this thread). You don’t need to disparage one thing to get another. From what I see you didn't even read the “Moon Hazard Zone”. It might be titled a hazard zone, but it isn't. You would have known that had you read the first paragraph. It was explained.

    have a nice day.
Your name wasn't mentioned anywhere in this paragraph. He's talking about the general idea of a moon zone and offering his opinion on that.

    Don't take it so personally.

    Animal pack II

If we do get a second animal pack, it will more than likely cover more reptilian and aquatic based animals, to try to fill in that niche. Around the time the first Animal Pack came out, David Nakayama made a comment about lizard heads and something else along those lines.

But I doubt we'll be getting one for some time.

Dear god, this, yes. Not only for astronaut types, but because character designs like this will finally be possible:

I don't know how complicated it would be to add a non-transparent, maybe even metallic version of the helmet. But if it's possible at this stage of development, that would be all kinds of amazing. You could even put the non-transparent version in under the Full Helmets category so you don't have to clutter up the Detail 2 list with more "Bubble Helmet" options. It'd still be fitting the Retro Sci-fi theme with astronaut usages, or making a mysterious space-traveler, but would also allow for an incredibly wide variety of other uses, as well.
