Folks love these dancing games. Folks love Star Wars. Combine the two, and you get a fun little game families can enjoy.
Take the stick outta your *** and just have fun, man. This isn't ruining the original movies or whatever other silly notions you have about it. -
Honestly, EA doesn't even hide your costume that much with the stealth anyway. Once you enter combat you become visible.
-
Thanks for the sarcasm. Point I was making is it kind of just ruins the taste of victory and progress heroes get of actually managing to stop a credible threat and save the day if he's just gonna come back later on with a "bigger and better plan".

Not only gets Paragon Studios' name out there, but helps out a legitimate charity organization and gives us a new, hopefully interesting power set to look forward to.
Sounds like a good plan. -

The new CoT don't look bad, though. It's just a not very subtle look that didn't really fit their original group image. But I think after that massive **** storm the devs learned a thing or two from it, considering we got updated Tsoo and Banished Pantheon in the new DA arcs, and they still looked the same but only got slight changes. Even had women introduced to both groups, and they looked like they fit right in.
As to OP, I kind of like seeing certain enemy groups stay in their level ranges. It doesn't make too much sense to have someone like Dr. Vhazilok or the Outcasts in the big leagues with Arachnos and the 5th Column. Plus it takes away from that awesome story arc where you actually defeat Dr. Vhazilok in his lair and put a stop to his creations. His group also does a pretty good job of looking really good despite their age, what with the exposed muscle on zombies, grotesque and unhygienic doctors, and the doctor himself being a true walking horror show. -

Caught some Outlaw Star.
Awesome. -
Quote:Calm downBefore you accuse someone of starting a fight you need to go look in the mirror. The other thread didn't have a damm thing to do with this thread and if you look at the post times you would see that. The only person jumping into a thread trying to start something is you.
Unbunch your panties. -
Quote:Probably next month, considering we got Beast Mastery this month, the devs are aware folks want it, and it's been in beta for so long.Staff fighting has been in BETA for four months now. I mean you have all the inside info GG, when the heck is that going live? Give us some info we want.
Or, ya know, we'll get it when we get it and stop asking because that won't make it any sooner. -
Honestly, I don't mind seeing the signature characters actually doing things, considering this entire game they've been nothing but contacts for missions.
The real problem is, like you mentioned, they need to be done well. So far the only fun thing about these has been seeing awesome, fresh maps. The writing just sucks, and sometimes even the gameplay sucks. Like that "Escort Penny Yin through Oranbega" mission.
But eh, I don't care. Like I've said before, SSA 1 made me not want to play SSA 2. -
Quote:Wasn't the reason for people being angry because they were in GR beta for a good couple of weeks, and Posi even said something at a con saying how we'd get new dances with GR, then they got pulled and put into an overpriced pack that only had eight emotes in it? I remember a lot of people saying they'd pay for them, just not as much as Paragon was charging. This thread reminds me of when people said they'd be willing to buy dance animations, then when the dance animations came out everyone flipped out that Paragon was charging money for dance animations.
Then BaBs got fired.
Anyway, on topic, I agree we do need alternate animations for older sets. Variety is good, and we have tons of animations built up already. Just rework some of them to fit with animation times of powers and I'd be set. I, at least, am not asking for entirely brand spanking new animations for each power. I just want to be able to play Fiery Melee or Broadsword without seeing my character move horribly slow and clunky. -
At least in the form of new issues. We'll still be having regular costume packs, Staff Melee soon, monthly SSAs, and whatever odds and ends they decide to toss in to their weekly update to the markets. So the wait won't be too bad.

Is this a computer virus? Are you trying to give me a virus?

Giving PS better map tools, and letting us build better bases and actual maps?
Sounds like a good idea all around. -

This. The heroes in the Freedom Phalanx were handled horribly from start to finish. At least the writers are consistent.

I haven't been force logged out in forever.

Quote:If you genuinely feel everyone else is wrong and you're the only one who's right, then you might need to step back for a moment, take a breather, and reevaluate this. That, and the usage of massive text comes off as you being angry, which is never good either. That would imply I'm on a crusade. The only crusade I'd be on is waiting for you all to admit you're wrong or hypocrites and then showing everyone how much more effective a scrapping Stalker is vs any other type of Stalker.
Chill pill. -
Quote:I hear a lot of people complain about Glacia and Infernia talking in that TF and it being annoying. Does anyone realize, though, that they've been stranded on an alien planet, in the middle of very people that massacred our Earth, among a very small group of humans who were more than likely being quickly killed or captured, and were forced to live on the run for about five years? In the leadup to the attack on Wade's Secret Space Island Hideout*, when Infernia (whom I must say, her chatter in the LG TF had me dreading her as a contact... VERY glad she's settled down... kinda surprised she hangs out near the Watcher though, never figured him as the patient listener type)
I'd be a bit chatty, too, if I were suddenly rescued and brought back to a safe place called home. -
Quote:I honestly didn't even know there was a barrier, so it hit me every time. There's a screen graphic that kind of looks like a big red explosion. It does? I left the field early on just to see what it looked like and how much damage it did. I saw no graphic effect at all and I have Ultra Mode on. As for the damage... <shrug> 900 points every 30 seconds and my Reconstruction recharges in less than 25 seconds.

So, I just noticed that the Coyote travel power costs as much as a vanity pet that serves zero actual purpose.
Hrm. -
Remember when we got a full blown trailer and desktop for the last loyalty program?
I wouldn't mind if we at least got some in game images of the stuff we're getting before it comes out.
