Forum Logout Issues Still?

It hasn't been fixed, no. There is no workaround because the bugs are in the software and on NCsoft's end.
And the 8hr maximum "Remember Me" (which half the time doesn't actually remember me) is not a bug, but WAD/WAI by NCsoft.

Except that Cryptic, which uses the same software for their games' forums, solved this problem for their users (apparently by embedding it in some kind of a wrapper?) almost a year ago.
I haven't been force logged out in forever.

Yea, that's what I figured. What is odd though is that on one computer, I get bumped off every so often, while on the other one, I get bumped off constantly. I use Google Chrome on both as well.

Since I made cookies persist only as long as the browser is open, I haven't had any problems getting logged out in the middle of making a post (which was the worst problem). It does mean that I have to log in each time I restart the browser, but that's a trivial thing to do if you let your browser remember your password.
Do I think it's a fabulous solution for everyone? Nope. But it's a decent workaround that I came upon by accident after deciding for other reasons that I don't want websites to track my every move with cookies.
Just curious if anyone else is still getting logged off the forums around here? This is still happening to me, and I looked around and didn't see anything talking about a fix or a work around. Any helpful input would be most appreciated.
