This. Except I got a villain to 50 by essentially PLing and forming my own full teams of villains to run random newspaper missions with. Was pretty damn effective actually. Nobody over there likes to lead, so I was able to form and control my teams quite easily and always had a ready supply of teammates. -
Best power I ever used when I was running a darkity. I used it every time it was up.

During HeroCon I'm pretty sure that they said that Rogues and Vigilantes will be able to "ferry" influence and infamy to the other side, or something like that. But only inf, not any products.

I have one netbook which I HAVE run CoH on. I had to turn all the graphics down and it was STILL as slow and laggy as hell, but it WORKED. This is the netbook.

Tonight I logged on to our 3rd account which was offline for like 4 months, and I played the lvl 50 Fire Kin Corruptor who is maxed out on all SO's and OMG SHE SUCKED.
Flipped over to a lvl 50 ALL IOed character and was FREAKIN AMAZING.
To the OP, I use sets once in a while but for the most part I just use standard IOs.
With influence flowing like water these days, I actually just by the crafted IOs off the rack. Saves me time and I don't lose THAT much money. -

- Everything you've ever learned in other MMOs, throw out the window. This game is unlike any of those other ones.
- Enjoy the JOURNEY, not the destination. There is very little "special" at level 50 that you can't enjoy at level 1.
- You're not a "noob", you're a newbie. A noob is someone that's been with the game for over a year and still doesn't want to learn anything new and thinks they are always right.
- I'd suggest either Tankers or Scrappers for your starting archetype. They are the easiest to play and also the toughest, so you'll die less often while you are learning the ropes.
- They are archetypes, not classes, and they are supergroups or villaingroups, not guilds.

Also, you really have to give the artist credit for attention to detail. Take a look at the strap on her thigh. Rather than just drawing a strap there, the artist actually showed the indentation that the strap would make on her skin.
