Hey look, someone that calls themselves "Healer" is saying that WoW does something better than CoX!
I'm shocked! -
I've never seen a "good" costume contest. The award always seems to go to either they darkity dark guy with all the horns/spikes/crap all over, or the female that shows the most skin.
Needless to say, me playing a Silver Age hero.... never won one. -

I personally think that they don't need to "revamp" old zones to make them more interesting, they can just ADD MORE STUFF TO DO on top of what's already there. Because that's what people really want in the end, more variety. So just put more stuff in there on top of what's already there. No need to remake the wheel, just give it shiny new rims and people will go "oooOOOooooo".
Except Boomtown. That whole zone is a waste... DO something with it... PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE???? -

Anything you could tell us about the staff/polearm set Castle?
-
Wait, what? Where did you hear this? Is there some thread I'm missing somewhere? Because this is a set I've been dying for for ages.
-
I suspect an inherent damage increase when solo to boost us to pre-Defiant Blaster damage... and when we're teamed will enhance all of our buff/debuff numbers somehow.
-
Aww, it's okay, I have a song for you!

-
Kinetic Melee? So, like... Street Fighter? I approve and am anxious to try it out.
-
Wait... wait... wait...
They are increasing the level cap and introducing an "end game system"?
....
...
Are be starting to become WoW?
I'm concerned. -
Quote:This. USE the WYSIWYG. Turn it on and LOVE it. I sure do. As a result of the new editor...And there's two versions of the advanced editor, too. There's the advanced editor which shows you all the code, and there's the evil advanced editor which is WYSIWYG (or perhaps more accurately, WYSIWYHTG - What You See Is What You Hope To Get). Both versions include buttons much like Microsoft Word which you can use for formatting your post (the non-WYSIWYG advanced editor just inserts the code when you press the button)
Quote:IIRC, he updated it for the new forums. But the advanced editor would probably be simpler, and not require a 3rd party program.
It's also a small executable that you don't even have to install, as long as you have the latest version of Microsoft's .NET framework, which most people with Windows has. -
You didn't know srmalloy? The Hydras all trim the bushes with their teeth... because they only like the more delicate tasty edges that start to grow out.
-
You're right on Umbral. It also reminds me a lot of the Jack Kirby New Gods world for some reason...

Commander, I am a cold-hearted libertarian with no soul. As a result, I believe that everyone's virtual safety is their own responsibility. If they don't know how to protect themselves when they go down a dark alley, then they shouldn't go down a dark alley.
And believe me when I say this, PU is a dark alley. -
The geysers take you exactly where they are supposed to... as long as you enter them the correct way.
There are only TWO geysers in all three (four?) Shadow Shard zones that don't go anywhere. The rest all go exactly where they are supposed to. -

I tend to stay clear from any websites that offer people free software that you have no control over the backend.
Or if you're REALLY Paranoid... there's always hidemy(insert 3 letter word for donkey here).com -
That's nuts! I LOVE it!
It's like an even more restricted version of my plan to play a character only outside of instanced missions from 1 to 50.
Good luck, I hope you succeed! And make sure to bring the Febreezeā¢! -
According to Wikipedia, Clique is "an exclusive group of people who share interests, views, purposes, patterns of behavior, or ethnicity."
Well, we do share ONE interest, City of Heroes.... but everything else? Nope. Certainly don't share views, purposes, patterns of behavior, or ethnicity. And exclusive? What is that?
Let's look it up. From Webster's Online: "excluding or having power to exclude."
Well, since anyone can join and we exclude no one. That's not true either.
So yes, we're a clique... if your definition of clique is "an open group of people that share one interest and have virtually nothing else in common".
Then, yes, we're a clique. -
Quote:I don't think that will work, since, you know.... all commands in a macro/bind execute at EXACTLY the same time. It would have to be combination of several macros and several keypresses, using each macro to load the next. Kind of like how my Force Field macros work in my guide. Not by direct position number, no.. unless you get tricky. (see below)
You can still bind any of the powers in those slots by their powername instead though.
Being tricky to get it to work..
Assuming you have tray1 in the bottom slot, you can program a key to set off any power by it's position in any tray with the following bind:
/bind KEY "gototray #$$powexecslot #$$gototray 1"
That will switch the bottom tray to the one the designate by the first #, then activate the power you designate by slot #, and return the tray back to tray 1 (it goes so fast you wont even see the tray switch, but the correct power still activates).
So if you want something from tray number 7, in position 8, the bind would be:
/bind KEY "gototray 7$$powexecslot 8$$gototray 1"
(If your bottom tray is not tray1, simply change that part of the bind to the number of the tray you usually keep there.)
