Sewer Man... The epic journey

So I recently came back to CoX and slowly getting back into the swing of things. Some new stuff and changes really make the game shine. But what got me thinking was chatter about how the new super sidekicking system makes it possible for someone to level form 1 to 50 via just the sewer. At first I just sort of laughed it off as grinder will always find a way to grind new ways. But it got me to thinking. What an interesting sort of challenge and RP idea.

So yeah I now got this crazy plan to make a new hero and relay only on the sewer to level them all the way to 50. Silly? Stupid? Crazy? Probably all those things.

First some self created ground rules.

1) No outside XP. I must turn off XP while doing anything not within the sewers itself. This is mostly so that I can do costume missions, events and the such. Edit: I figure I'll add if/when I get high enough the sub sewer will also be ok should there be groups forming for that

2) Must be willing to join any Sewer team that is looking for members and no matter how bad it gets or how many wipes that happen stick with that team until they leave the sewers. Edit: Unless of course I'm not in the zone like taking a brake in Pocket D

3) Never start a team on my own. After all we are trying to see if we can do this naturally and it would skew things if I went off making my own teams.

4) Enhancements only what drops or what I can buy form Inf I get from the sewers no hand offs form other characters or friends. And really since a lot of my time is going to be stuck leveled down this should not be a huge issue. (as a sub note I love CCs so if I should win one while running this I will have to turn around and give that reward away possibly by running an CC of my own)

That is all I can really think of. It will be an off project not a full time one. I'll try and get screen shots and update this thread as I go should anyone be interested in this little thing.

Ok added a Virtueverse page for Substrate was surprised to find out he name was not taken on Virtue. She is a WP/Mace tanker of Natural origin. WP is using the minimal FX option and Mace is using a Shovel. Gives a good natural looking set for my sanitation engineer.

It's like an even more restricted version of my plan to play a character only outside of instanced missions from 1 to 50.

I'll most likely catalog my tails over on Virtueverse that where most of my RP characters have pages for.

I don't have all those restrictions necessarily, but Sewer Ratty is a toon I created who only plays on Sewer Teams.

FYI: Using the power {Foot Stomp} in a sewer map doesn't make a splash.

Are you palnning to do the Abandoned Sewer Trial as part of your leveling?

Added a VV page and updated that info in the main entry. Off to the sewers.

You should have done Shield/Mace. Since you are sewer man, you need both the wrench version of the mace as well as the manhole cover.

I've been wanting to level a character strictly in AE for some time now. (Legit levelling, not PL-ing.) This sounds like much more fun though.
