  2. Id go claws/regen personally. No redraw and unless I am mistaken lower end costs, which help to counter act the lack of end regen.
  3. 48.1% to smash/Lethal with Positionals M 24.8 / R 23.2 /AoE 22.6 and a non Siphon Speed +recharge of 138.8

    It's not much, but I'll love it anyway...

  4. And thats why it's called a work in progress; filling in the rest of the sets (which I have stated was needed), will easily hit the soft cap, *shrug* but whatever.

    Expensive and cheap are relative to the player.

    Experience with Kin makes me confident about what it's capable of in high pressure situations, going without fitness is not an uncommon thing to see in kins. 3 siphon speeds running, recharge is 6.55 seconds, 6.84 on 2 which is pretty easy to do; heck, we arnt talking about just endurance here, 1.83 on transfusion.

    Yep, right about pistols. It guess it comes down to if you want to lose the bonus when the ammo is changed or set preferences.

    The cryo ammo recharge comment I have no clue what youre speaking of.

    yep, only perma currently if I hit with 3 constantly, the downtime will be minimal, but more sets need to be edited into a scetch build... add purples and perma hasten isnt an issue.

    Anyway, we can agree to disagree I suppose. You're more than welcome to contribute a build and show us how it should look.
  5. Thugs/Pain is the easiest MM I have ever played (that didn't get boring, i.e. FF).

    I highly recommend it, and often recommend it for people who want to try MM for the first time.

    Dual is more adaptable to your situation using the swap ammo types and effects whereas pistol doesnt, and the -def provided by pistol is half the duration of the rest of the set.

    Mind as well just talk about animation times though... since your talking a secondary that vomits recharge on itself.
  7. Yes, it does, nor do I think you can attack with the power pool power invis at all, or I may have missed a patch note that changed that aspect...

    but the suppression still exists.
  8. I am a HUGE +recharge fan on a kin...

    With it, I can stand around and spam a heal and endurance every rediculous amount of short time... in essence, making me a heavy regen based AT with at current slotting of build, 43 def S/L... and I still have some sets to sit down and add to the build; damage sets, which will cover the rest of the gap.... all while sitting at +175 recharge with SB and hasten running... I'll cover the gap for S/L and recharge for perm hasten when I decide on the rest of the sets.... no purps added yet...

    If its not I like to put "chance to stun" in SB. Cuts down on people asking for it.
  10. Never had fitness on a kin and I never will. It's an over kill for something you can provide yourself in combat on que. Numinas and Miracle are just overkill for what you do on your own. Unless you desperately need to regen while your standing around....
  11. If youre fast enough and with luck, sure you could stack all three types...

    is it advised and worth it, probably not... you could stack -recharge, you could stack -damage, you could stack - def, you could stack +damage..... Any of those stacking on themselves will give you higher benefits than trying to weave them all together; the ammo toggles don't recharge fast enough to "ammo weave" the different effects together.
  12. Hmm, Pistols and Dual Wield are to your flavor for what you want to fillin the gaps with.... a strong DPA or a weak one: -10% def or -15% recharge... plus effects from ammunition.

    Your choice. You could also slot pistols with achielles heel proc for added punch you cant slot Dual wield with.

    Note: other than a few tweeks and damage sets, this is what Im going with.

I don't get people that skip suppressive, there is way to much usefulness to skip this power, if nothing else for a gaze of baslisk set of 4 and 2 chance for hold IOs; and on a good roll, that's a mag 7 hold.... gee, what could I do with a mag 7 hold?... and a good 30% of the time (ish), mag 5 hold....

    nope nope, that would be useless in the hands of a corr...

    skip it. skip it completely and don't look back!
  16. They don't. Just the specific IOs for resist and def will affect. Resists do apply before bodyguard though.
  17. but controllers do get Kinetics... I dont notice a reduction in area over a defender... that would be affected by your logic.

    The trade off for being twice the heal than pains and thermals is it has a to hit check. Don't overlook that. You know its a pain when it misses.

    There are a few who have played this and know what Im speaking of. I don't advocate group TP for anything, but in this one instance, it becomes an awesome tool not for travel but for superior minion management.

I have a ninja/storm and it's one of my favorite MMs. Most people hate the combo because the ninja AI is so difficult to micromanage, so, I took group TP so I can literally place them exactly where I want them. I have not had an issue yet, and from that moment on I was ripping things to shreds left and right with minimal effort. I spend most of my time targeting the next mob than worrying about the current. Usually before my feet drop to the ground, two mobs have died off.

    The sets are balanced as sets. They are then affected with AT modifiers.

    Saying TG should have a lower radius because it was ported really doesnt make much sense. Then so should thermal and pain by that logic. The disparity in heals between thermal and pain and TG are similar disparities if I was a Corr as well. TG would heal more because I require a target.... thats its drawback... to port it over and give it a tiny radius... As for the -hit component... transfusion has -4 endurance and -400 regen... its a side effect of the power pool, the -hit is darks bonus.

    It was a decision that was made when CoV came out... it needs to be re-evaluated now that we have two other area heals that DONT require a target.

    Honestly I could care less, as someone pointed out, it would benefit my teammates more than my pets... as my pets LISTEN to me. I still don't have the macro codes to make the teammates do what they should be.

    It affects me Nil, but I can see the argument to increase it, I don't see the argument to not.
  24. You dont nessesarily need it at lvl 6 either.... I put it off till 20 personally. I wouldnt make a DP build without it thou, its much too useful and being able to stack slow or -damage on a target with primary and secondary make it all too useful.
  25. You have to account for recharge...

    But argue that all you want, atleast they will have the choice... I honestly get to spend more time targeting the next mob than having to assist them as by the time I drop to the ground from the TP atleast 2 mobs have hit the floor.

    I did it as an experiment to see if the competency of ninjas, damage output etc would go up... made a build that had it by 20 and went to town on a ninja/storm. I pop the occasional support power, but other than that, let the kiddies run free! A Patron cone immobilize and they couldnt have been happier.
