Stacking secondary effects from Swap Ammunition?

Do the secondary effects from Fire, Cold, and Toxic ammo stack?

If I throw Toxic ammo on, fire bullet rain and then empty clips, is every hit enemy debuffed twice? etc.

Also, anyone have the numbers? I seem to recall the long help had 'em, and thought toxic ammo was a -10% dmg debuff for corruptors.

The general rule seems to be: De/Buffs from different powers or from different casters stack. The same De/Buff from the same power and caster do not stack.

There's a few exceptions to that rule, but I'd doubt if DP broke it.

If youre fast enough and with luck, sure you could stack all three types...

is it advised and worth it, probably not... you could stack -recharge, you could stack -damage, you could stack - def, you could stack +damage..... Any of those stacking on themselves will give you higher benefits than trying to weave them all together; the ammo toggles don't recharge fast enough to "ammo weave" the different effects together.

I don't find that to be true. Usually the debuffs from the same power from the same caster do stack.

Indeed, especially in regard to Blasts with secondary debuff effects. They do tend to be short duration though, so they won't stack for long.

Blargh, quoted before I could fix my typo.

The same power from the same caster generally won't stack the effects if it's primarily a buffing power (like Fortitude, or Forcefields, or Sonic Siphon) but will if the debuffing is a secondary attribute of the power, as is the case with most any attack. So, if you had enough recharge to reapply the -damage from something like Dual Wield (w/chem rounds) before the first debuff faded, they would stack briefly, and if you fire off Empty Clips and Bullet Rain in quick succession, you will have stacked AoE debuffs.

Rule number six of an empathy defender is NEVER underestimate a blaster's ability to die. I don't care if he has CM, Fort, both RAs, bubbles (both FF and Sonic), and is fighting next to a Storm defender with hurricane on. If there is a way to die in that situation, the blaster will find it.
