Next is Coyote-in-batsuit flight power.

I think the Council could use a makeover in general. Right now they're just a less interesting 5th Column.
But yeah, I agree some Bosses should stand out more. -
Quote:You need more Tanks! But when a tanker thinks they are herding by aggroing group after group, then because of the aggro cap leaving them behind to attack everyone else while they go aggro the next group - it isnt much fun
I think he aggro'd 4 groups and was at the end of the hallway facing maybe 2 of them. The rest of us were stuck with a hallway of aggro'd enemies attacking us as we tried to reach him. -
Have collars been mentioned yet? Small ones that just cover the lower neck (like the Fantastic Four uniforms), or open collars like the Justice League are suddenly wearing.

Quote:I know it makes no sense, but it seems to be what people want.Second, you spoil the answer to the question gratuitously asked in the title ON PURPOSE and dispense with any sense of mystery or discovery and certainly any potential shock from learning that the victim is, in fact, the head of the Hero Pantheon. You justify this by saying "It's the way he dies that matters, not the fact of his death." and then you have him walk into a trap and die like a newb, with no exposition before or after to explain WHY he did that.
What kind of marketing is that? -
Quote:Idiots. What they think is "Revenge of the Nerds" is really shooting themselves in the foot.Speaking of which, Anonymous is now tricking people into performing illegal DDoS attacks.

Quote:As far as the villain-side world goes, the killer would be $name. That wouldn't work for any future content mentioning Statesman - the killer of Statesman has to be "official", so that there's one name that can always be used for the murderer - events in the neta-story need a basic truth that applies to everyone all across the game world.

If an account hasn't been logged into for five-plus years, it should be open season on their names.
Send out an email inviting past players back. Let them know all they have to do to protect their old names is log in once every five years. If you can't be bothered in that window of time, you're not coming back.
I don't care if it only helps a few players actually get the names they want. A few happy players now are more important than non-existent players from 2007. -
They should have at least pulled him out of Fort Trident. When he's standing the room you specifically have to go to to redeem your mission reward, it might as well be an intentional surprise ending (even when you know it isn't.)

I haven't play the villain version, but I definitely agree. Why is Darrin Wade even in the arc? Let the players be the villain.
-
I haven't played the TPN trial, so I haven't really followed the threads about it, so someone may have already suggested this:
The rock-throwing citizens that players are complaining about? Make the damage illusionary. Basically make them a side-effect of the telepaths sapping your will, allowing the angry citizens to "hurt your feelings". -
Pretty embarrassing to get killed by a guy named Darrin.
Another forced-failed mission, my least favourite part of the game. I know players are supposed to think "the big hero is dead, now I'm number one!" but I already thought that. Our heroes are the focus of the game, I consider Statesman a minor supporting character. So his death isn't really a big deal to me, other than my inability to save him makes my hero look bad.
So anyway- I get a Hero Merit and decide to go cash it in in Fort Trident... and of course, there's Statesman. I guess the medi-port kicked in. -
I think this is a good idea. The continued xp should be unlocked by visiting a contact, since not every player will like the change, but not a "trainer". You're level 50, you don't need training.
A possible reward could be a choice of Temp Powers. Each time you level, you can choose another power. If it's one you already have, you increase the charges.
Then again, I'm not sure we need any more Temp Powers at level 50... -
I only watched the first episode, it seemed too zany. What made the movie work was it was so subdued and deadpan. The cartoon seemed more like Beavis & Butthead.

All their dialogue ends with a wink emoticon.

Does the letter have any winking emoticons?

If your character concept is "god" then you're a god. Thor's a god, and he still teams up with a guy with a bow and arrow.

Quote:It has a proc that boosts Resistance, when fully stacked it's supposedly close to +20%. Seems like a lot, we'll see if it makes it live. The bonuses are ok I guess. I fail to see how they make the Fighting Pool optional.
But the Fighting Pool has always been optional to me, anyway. -
I'm sure that's part of it, but I'm still not sure why the tech lab map runs smoothly but the Longbow base (which is just a re-skin of the same map) is so bad.
-
I'll blame the iTrial lag on my computer, but what I don't understand is the lag in certain maps like the Longbow Base and the new Warehouse rooms. How can most of the game run fine, then slow down into slideshow mode in those areas?

I'd add an alternate, simplified version of PvP that uses only a handful of powers, based on your Archetype and Primary/Secondary sets. You'd still get the set bonuses from your normal build, though.
