  1. Let me know where to send funds, and what else is needed to save COH.

I can't program, but I can help in other ways.
  2. Everyone currently has the option to build an sg the way they want; when they want. This is fantastic. Who else wants the ability to select a standardized, functional supergroup base from smallest to largest right away, up-front that automatically auto-builds features as the right amount of items and prestige are earned without having to do this manually each and every step of the way?

    No Mouse Cursor

Want to have a mouse cursor while playing on the test server?

Quick fix: Play the game in Windowed Format

Here is how to play in Windowed Format:

    Log onto Test Server

(Either copy one of your characters onto test server, or create a new one)

    Once logged in;

    Open Menu

    Scroll down and select Options

    Select Graphics and Audio

    Under Graphics

    Select Windowed under Screen/UI Resolution

    Select Apply now

    Close Options Screen/Menu

    Log off

Re-log on for effect to work

Enjoy playing with a mouse cursor on the test server!
  4. Trips mines are not for everyone, but can be extremely effective when used in certain circumstances. Where can you place trip mines for effect:

In the middle of a mob
(stealth into mob and place a mine)

In the middle of a mob, while on a team
(mob is busy fighting whoever is causing them most damage or has agro, nothing wrong with you bringing them a little boom-boom in their pants when they're not paying attention to you)

Every couple of feet from one another down a long passageway
(fun to watch mobs being thrown and blown up as they attempt to chase you)

    In, or near a doorway
(they're all coming anyway; no need to make it easy for them)

    Around a corner
    (oops - for them)

Ontop of structures mob/s must jump onto to get to you
(this is just fun to do)

When mob is already in a corner or at the end of a passageway
(where are they going to be tossed to but further into the corner or end of passageway)

    Experiment
    (place between different objects)
(create different shaped patterns with your trip mines for varying effects; circle, square, target ring, etc...).

Let your imagination guide you. Trip mines are not for everyone, but really fun for those who can figure out how to abuse them. I know I do ;P

Over 90% of money is tainted with cocaine. So under your argument; no one should use money anymore. Read the article below:

The world isn't perfect, and neither are heroes. If you had to choose your morals and ideals over saving someone's life you love; which do you choose? Sometimes, it all comes down to a hero doing whatever it takes to save the world; even when it means buying something off the black market.
  7. Going Rogue has a release date - sweet!

If it's a bad idea, people have the right to say so. If it's a good idea, it'll likely get a good reception.

Since we all play this game, we all have the right to say what would make us enjoy it more, but also if an idea would make us enjoy it less, or we think would be bad for the game. If you don't like that, then you don't need to come in here, either.

Yes, we don't have to use every feature that comes out, especially if we don't like it, we do get to say that we wouldn't like it here, especially since the Devs can't create all ideas at the same time. They have limited amounts of time on their hands, and if we'd rather have them working on something that we'd like more, then we should say so, to let them know that the players aren't looking for this particular idea as much as another.
Henry Ford and I completely agree with you when he said "Whether you believe you can do a thing or not, you are right."

You know, because, as the OP said, to post things here that we *want* to see in game, but would almost never see happening.

The OP never mentioned any rule about not being able to post anything that had already been suggested before.

If you have a problem with that, instead of jumping in and posting your own new rules for this thread, maybe you should go and start your own.
So angry. I'm no medical expert, but if you have a problem with your angry issues, there are many professionals that can assist. Please seek help.

You are so nice and wonderful; I just know you'd become the mayor of Niceville if you threw your hat in the race!

This tread is about Things We'll Never See. Your comment is a better fit for the "Things That Have Already Been Discussed to Death for Years; yet never implemented Thread."

I bet there are really good therapists in your area that can help you work through all of your angry issues. No emoticons have been added or used; out of concern on your behalf. Please get some help.

(Well, I also think Trick Arrow and Force Fields need small buffs.)
Teeth, I do not know you. I welcome and appreciate everything that helps players enjoy this game more. You pay a monthly fee; if small buffs added to trick arrow and force fields creates a better playing experience for you. Then I say "cool!"

Exclusive Intelligent Suggestions and Ideas Forum [everyone can read, but the only people allowed to post are those that have actually proven elsewhere on the forums that they're actually intelligent to not fill it with utter rubbish]
This thread is about things we'll never see. Your comments should be moved to the thread "Things We'd Like to See."
  17. AE already allows you to create heroes and villains to assist or fight you on a mission.
  18. Here's what I want with Badges:

A printable, viewable list I can:

Easily view what badges my toons already have

    and

Identify which ones are still needed
  19. Fantastic suggestion!

Inspirations can already be combined to form new ones. Salvage and recipes can be worked the same way.
  20. Great suggestion!

In-game counterpart of yourself to battle!

I will pay extra to see extreme posters/players full of themselves be put in their place - by themselves!
  21. Great suggestion!

    Maybe mission is bugged.

Perhaps individual or team cannot locate remaining glowie or remaining mob, and have waited over an hour for an administrator to assist them.

    Or

You simply want to stop current task.

It comes down to having a choice. Do not fear options - having them should be welcomed and appreciated.

  23. I have 2 NOOB moments of my own.

When I first started out, I was so excited to get my very first jet pack. I wanted to see everything on the map screen, so I went up as high as I could get to fly around and get rid of everything darkened out. I thought this is fantastic; as I went from zone to zone doing this right up until the day I discovered two things: falling from great heights really, really hurts. And finding out the jet pack was only just a temporary power! (had I clicked on info, I would have read this; but wheres the fun in this I thought at the time!).

I was also learning the train system when I started out, found the green line and ended up at Founders' Fall. I was walking around thinking wow, what a beautiful city, when something hit me and I died. I thought; what the heck!?! So I went to the hospital, got a couple of feet and died again. I did this 4 times in a row, even attempted to run back to the train station with the same effect. Thank goodness another more experienced player saw me laying face down on the pavement and asked if I needed help. I told them this zone is tough, I can't even get from the hospital to the train station without dying. They laughed and told me this area may be a bit too high level for me at the moment, and was kind enough to get me back to the train station.

Honorable NOOB moment to mention; getting stuck on run, plowing directly into a really angry mob while frantically clicking the keyboard and moving the mouse rapidly with eyes and mouth wide open watching in vain as I died!
  24. At one point everyone was new to COH/COV. Mistakes are made as you learned the system, and adjusted how you played accordingly. However, we sometimes encounter players with a unique gaming style or line of questions that makes your head hurt. So what have been some of your favorite newb/NOOB moments. I remember one time on a team, another player ran and stood on the head of a fallen freak, and stopped playing. I asked what are you doing? They replied "they don't rez when you stand on their heads!"

Another time it was Halloween, and a zombie raid was going on. My team was headed to an area in PI where many zombies respawn. The team allowed a person brand new to the game on the team, and when zombies were falling all around us, this new player kept shouting in caps "STOP KILL STEALING FROM ME, YOU'RE TAKING ALL MY XP!"

So what are some of your favorite newb/NOOB moments?
  25. I welcome having a larger file size, and the capability to have more than 17 created characters in one story arc.
