Interface does 'work' like othe procs in the way that it only works in powers that do damage. (Like the aoe proc only working in an aoe, ranged in ranged, etc). Just in this case the 'slotting requirement' if you will is if the power does damage.

Thanks for the input, or lack there off. yes I know its my choice, pick the one that interests me most, etc....The problem is they all interest me and are getting about the same screen time each, and I can't seem to just go 'thats the one I want to focus on now!' hence the appeal to the community, maybe not to make up my mind for me, but to see if comments jogged me one way or another.
As to the lack of scrappers, I only have one scrapper atm in my stable a km/sd in the mid-30's who while fun, isn't as interesting to me as those I listed.
@Clave- I agree whole heartedly on the don't IO if its going to collect dust, and I know those toons wont. While the tanks are the same role as my main IO'd toon they do come at it differently, so I enjoy switching it up and using them. the Veats have become my main ranged damage fixes, because until the blaster in the list no blaster other then my 1st 50 has gotten out of the 20's -

I don't often post much but I'm currently in a quandry about which of my 'projects' I want to IO next. I've played on and off since I1 and didn't even bother with IO's till GR when I 'permadom'ed my earth/fire/ice dom. I've been a very casual player, but since I19 my playtime and my resources in game have increased. I know I've got enough merits(both alignment and reward) to make a good sized dent in what ever project I want to attempt, but because I know that I'm currently stumped as to which toon next. I'm not dealing with purple or pvp IO's in the costs/calculations for builds, I try to go as high end on a build as I can without those.
Resources currently available for the next project(will be increasing but these are the startup resources):
10 alignment merits
900 reward merits
400 mil inf
Current complete IO'd projects
Perma dom-earth/fire/ice dom
Tank-Will/dual blades/energy
Brute- Dark/FA/Soul-my ae ticket farmer for salvage as needed

Just looking for discussion or debate on which to do, my brain just isn't making up its mind, so I turn to the community; which of the candidates would you IO and why? -
I will second the carnage that earth/fire/ice brings down upon everything. Mines only 44 atm with SO's but its still silly on just those.
Quicksand/sleet/earthquake/fire breath/combust/consume is my main aoe madness.
I am set up to do the 'ghetto hold' of immob+stun that stone cages and stalagmites when qs and quake are down for almost no down time.
I'm slowly putting together the pieces for a perma build as my second build. no mids out of me but in the thread earlier people give set suggestions to get there. -
Now before people start clamoring about me putting up a mids build, I can't. I have some issues that make it a challenge to use mids.
All I'm really looking for is which sets should I be taking a look at for a cheapy-midrange perma build.

Decided to give doms another go and want to build an elementalist wielding earth/fire/ice between primary/ssecondary/ancillary and trying to decide which order ssynergizes the best

I think its going to be either the earth/fire/ice or the fire/earth/ice as the better synergies but I'm not sure. -

I'd agree I'd like to try and 'smarten' my opponents up a bit. but at the same time I enjoy the content as is, frustration and all. -
Since I've come back I haven't seen many FF or sonic defs. Lot of darks, kins and rads; the occasional cold, thermal, or emp. And no traps or TA seen at all.

Yeah I know I don't have to go all one or all the other, this is more of an expirement as I mess around and decided I want to build one more focused on trying to Frankenslot to squeeze as much as I can into each ability, if I pick up a set bonus 'shrug' but its not the focus. The later project will be more about hitting the sets for the extra bonuses hard.
Not setting a budget yet, but I will be doing a lot of market hunting for deals to try and bring in the best deals. will do alignment/vanguard/reward merit grinding and ae tickets to bring in other stuff as I start to play around. -
Well after my 5 years of ingame time I finally broke down and tried common IO's on a character. Got my Wp/DB/energy tank set up with common's and it is good.
My next attempt is going to be a 'frankenslot' project, and from there the project after that will be a full 'set based' setup. My problem is I don't really know which toons would be easier to do 'frankenslot' vs. full sets.
The toons I'm deciding between are:
Rad/Rad Def-currently 38
DM/FA Brute-currently 12
Nightwidow/fort(dual build)-currently 37
Elec/nrg/elec blaster-50
Elec/rad controller-currently 40
Mainly looking for insight from people who have done both approaches. Not looking for builds or 'go check Mids' comments. Just which ones seem more feasible for either approach and why. -
I've been using PS-QS-SB-QS-BB-QS-Burst(if in an aoe situation)/CS(solo)-SB-QS-BB-etc.

Good single target sap via Transferendce and Short Circuit.
Elec/Elec Dom: 5 stars!
Best sapper I've played yet. No reliance on poxy old Short Circuit, instead you drain your enemies justb by being there. You don't have any -Recovery, but hard-sapping is not such an issue with the other controls you have. -
new snipe animation for elec. Use just the right hand of the Thunderous Blast animation.

My KM/SD scrap is only 25 so I don't have shield charge yet, but as I've been playing with the rest of the abilities, I've started wondering how to incorporate it with the rest of character's abilities:
Opener-Trigger PS(just for the to hit at that moment) Shield charge to KD some foes, let AAO saturate as I single target chain to 5 PS stacks, then burst.
Finisher-Rush in triggering PS hit the 5 stacks, burst, shieldcharge, mop up whats left.
Yes I know it will probably wind up more of a case by case basis, but wondering what most SD sscraps wind up doing with shield charge -

Elec's got soft control and end drain. The gremlins do help you solo, but aren't damage masters like fire imps or extra control like grav/ice/earth.
I've got an Elec/Rad at 41 and she's a beast. Its not fast soloing but definately a safe and consistent grind solo. its even better on teams. drop the pet sleep on one mob to keep them from interfering and when it looks time to get to them, jump in with conductive and choking and they're pretty easy targets for anything. -
I don't think its a laughing matter. If you have the end and the power slots to do so, why not. I also know some tankermind builds that use them along with provoke to keep aggro.
I use them on my demon/therm -res is always nice. -
I've got a 50 elec/wp/mu brute and I'll second Julius's dervish comment. Even with just SO's I've got both an ST and AOE chain. and depending on whats needed they just keep going and going. And its done a decent tank job as well when needed. Throwing Taunt into the AOE or ST chain's means I can hold aggro with the best of them as needed.
