Trying to decide on my next IO project

I don't often post much but I'm currently in a quandry about which of my 'projects' I want to IO next. I've played on and off since I1 and didn't even bother with IO's till GR when I 'permadom'ed my earth/fire/ice dom. I've been a very casual player, but since I19 my playtime and my resources in game have increased. I know I've got enough merits(both alignment and reward) to make a good sized dent in what ever project I want to attempt, but because I know that I'm currently stumped as to which toon next. I'm not dealing with purple or pvp IO's in the costs/calculations for builds, I try to go as high end on a build as I can without those.

Resources currently available for the next project(will be increasing but these are the startup resources):
10 alignment merits
900 reward merits
400 mil inf

Current complete IO'd projects
Perma dom-earth/fire/ice dom
Tank-Will/dual blades/energy
Brute- Dark/FA/Soul-my ae ticket farmer for salvage as needed

Projects I'm considering for IO treatment
Tank-Shield/SS/Mu
Tank-Ice/KM/Soul
Crab spider-Crabmind recharge build
Bane-Huntsman Build
Blaster- DP/Elec/Mace
Warshade-Insert comment about MFing shade here
Controller- Elec/Rad/Mu

Just looking for discussion or debate on which to do, my brain just isn't making up its mind, so I turn to the community; which of the candidates would you IO and why?

I would say the list of AT's and powersets isn't relevant. Answer these questions:
1) Which of the candidates do you play the most?
2) Do any of the candidates currently have any problems? (i.e. Constantly running out of END, not enough recharge, not hitting enough, getting hit too much, etc).

'Fixing' a character using IO's is generally easy and cheap and can dramatically increase your enjoyment playing that character.

A scrapper!

Since you don't list that as an option, I'd pick the shield/ss tank or one of the VEATS... VEATS can be a lot of fun when fully IO'd out, as can a shield anything.

Dechs will tell you the warshade of course... that's his answer to everything. ^_^ He's like the Tim the Toolman of HEATs... "More Power! MF Warshade!"

Which would IO and why? I would decide based on which one I liked to play and was therefore worth the investment, taking into consideration that some of the reasons I may not love to play a particular toon is that it's got some glaring flaw that sucks the fun out of it for me (like constantly watching the blue bar or always having to remember to stock up on break frees/lucks/whatever before venturing out). Such things can be fixed relatively easily with some IOs and can make a so-so toon really fun to play.

If you do decide to invest in IOing a new toon out, you're probably going to want to get it some incarnate abilities (at least Alpha), so you might take that into consideration as you slot it (will you play it mostly at 50 or be exemping a lot? if at 50, will you get cardiac to help with end issues, thus not needing to focus on that in the build so much? etc.). I guess the main reason that I bother with sets, etc. is that I really like a particular toon, enjoy playing her, and simply want her to be better in some way/s.

The 'which toon do you like playing best' factor is really key here, you ask me.

My only two fifties are both 'sort of ok' IOed and yet I never play them because I'm bored with 'em, so I won't bother updating their builds, like maybe never. On the other hand, I'm loving the stuffing out of a current MA/SR scrapper at about 38th level so I'm hard at work IOing her to the gills on her way up.

No point in IOing a toon that collects dust.

Thanks for the input, or lack there off. yes I know its my choice, pick the one that interests me most, etc....The problem is they all interest me and are getting about the same screen time each, and I can't seem to just go 'thats the one I want to focus on now!' hence the appeal to the community, maybe not to make up my mind for me, but to see if comments jogged me one way or another.

As to the lack of scrappers, I only have one scrapper atm in my stable a km/sd in the mid-30's who while fun, isn't as interesting to me as those I listed.

@Clave- I agree whole heartedly on the don't IO if its going to collect dust, and I know those toons wont. While the tanks are the same role as my main IO'd toon they do come at it differently, so I enjoy switching it up and using them. the Veats have become my main ranged damage fixes, because until the blaster in the list no blaster other then my 1st 50 has gotten out of the 20's

Well, I'd IO out the blaster or troller, but that's because I personally would be more likely to play those than the melee. If it really doesn't matter to you and you enjoy them all equally, just put the names in a hat and draw one. Make that your next project.

I would lvl out the one that you are most likely to run Tips or Reward Merit mishes with. You mentioned that you already had an AE farmer. I personally enjoy Tips and like that I can run them solo most times if I am just jumping on for a bit. You also get those amazing A-Merits that you can use to IO out the rest of your stable.

I would suggest the Shield Tank...

I'll vote for the WS. It is the one that, IMO, IO's will make the biggest difference. Perma Eclipse is a beautiful thing.

Also it plays totally differently from all your other characters.
