Quote:Idea how about call it Heroes for Hire and just have Luke Cage and Iron Fist.
Every time they been relaunching the series they keep making it with all these other characters that bogs down the series.
Maybe I am too old school in my thinking -
Quote:Major lack of emotes or costume pieces in Going Rogue especially compared to what came out in City of Heroes and City of Villains and this was the same cost as those.Basketball? Soccer? No costume parts or powers? More like the Piecemeal Pack. This will be the first thing you guys release that I won't be buying, and I am saddened that NCsoft/PS thinks this is any sort of value.
Now this just emote Party Pack? I played for 3 years and I rarely if ever use emotes.
And this is 7.99 which is just 2 dollars less than a Costume Pack?! Huh?!
And Going Rogue officially came out last month? How come these emotes were not in Going Rogue?
I am have no desire for emotes or need to just buy emotes. -

I just liked it when Sarge said, "Maybe you can answer this question to a long standing discussion. Does that look like a cat?"
I fell on the floor laughing bringing in the second episode of the series and one of my all time favorites of the Red vs Blue series was great! -
Well that is why we smart people already have our Zombie Apocalypse escape plan.
Watch this and remember Sarge is right.

Zombies take over Baltimore University curriculum
A woman dressed up as a zombie participates in the "Zombie walk" through central Stockholm Horror fans are expected to be drawn by the course
It is a class to die for - Zombie studies is now on the curriculum at the University of Baltimore.
The new course, which promises to "get you ready for a zombie apocalypse", invites students to devour classic zombie films and comics.
Instead of essays, they write horror scripts or draw storyboards for their ideal monster movie.
The minor class, titled English 333, has already been dubbed "Zombie 101" by the Baltimore Sun newspaper.

It was introduced to meet a demand for "interesting, off-the-wall" courses for a new minor in pop culture, according to Jonathan Shorr, chairman of the university's school of communications design.
'Truly disgusting'
"It's a back door into a lot of subjects," he told the Baltimore Sun.
"They think they're taking this wacko zombie course, and they are. But on the way, they learn how literature and mass media work, and how they come to reflect our times."
However, horror fans will be pleased to find that the class also explores two less academic themes: "blood and guts".
"We're going to be dealing with some of the truly disgusting stuff that's been done in horror over the years," said Arnold Blumberg, author of Zombiemania, who teaches the course.
"I want to reinforce the degree to which this material can be found offensive by a lot of people.
"This is not fluffy bunny cartoon stuff. Bunnies might show up, but they'd probably be torn to pieces.

Zhang Ziyi to star in Mulan English-language film
Zhang Ziyi The actress will be trained with bow and arrow for the role
Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi is to team up with Speed director Jan de Bont to make an English-language version of the Chinese legend Mulan.
The ancient folk story of a woman who replaces her father in battle, was made famous worldwide by an animated Disney film in 1998.
A Chinese-language version of the tale was released last year.
Producer Christopher Brough told The Associated Press that filming will begin this year in eastern China.
Ziyi shot to stardom after starring in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and has since gone on to appear in several high profile Hollywood movies, including Rush Hour 2 and Memoirs of a Geisha.
The actress will undergo bow and arrow and combat training for her latest role.
Her manager Ling Lucas said: "She has complete trust in Jan de Bont to turn Mulan into a memorable screen legend." -
Quote:Only way to do this right.I have no idea if this is still allowed, as it pertains to a movie/TV series, but since it's also been realized in graphic novel form, I'm giving it a shot.
There are very few stories that haunt me quite as much as the Dark Tower series, both books and graphic novels. In fact, just last night I was plagued by dreams that reenacted the heartbreaking events that led to the downfall of Gilead and the breaking of Roland's first Ka-tet, and it's been months since I've read that particular chapter in the series history.
How coincidental, then, that I should happen on news that I have been waiting to hear for years now:
This looks to be an epic undertaking; I hope it meets the expectations it's set for itself.

Quote:I was hoping this would be a TV series on Showtime or HBO. This is not a happy fun loving story. Here's a quote from Shadowrush.com
Here's the link to the article.
This sounds interesting. I haven't read the comic book series, but I have heard some good things about it. Will be looking forward to this as well. -

I love Tennant, but I'm just not understanding how a Chriss Angel type magician could be mistaken as an expert in hunting vampires. -
Quote:Fantastic Four meets the Incredibles I think.I did not see this on the search. This is coming out on ABC this Fall, and I saw the trailer last night at SPvsTW.

Looks like it is a bit of The INcredibles mixed in with Heroes so far.
I wonder if there will be a Doomish Character. -

Wow nothing on the Darkwing Duck Series by Boom.
The books sold so well it is now an ongoing series. The writing is really good and so is the art. They are going for more of an adult feel for the series, the writing is something you would expect from Marvel or DC with some humor in it.
The series takes place a year and a half after the series ended. St. Carnard no longer needs Darkwing Duck but we soon discover that is part of a neferous plot by one of his enemies and you see all the fan favorites from the series.
Need to plug this. I am having a lot of fun reading this and one of the best comics I read all year. -
Quote:I have been saying that is what they have been planning from the beginning of the storyline back when Dick became Batman.Remember that thread about Bat's "new" outfit? Well, turns out he's keeping the old one, too.
Bruce *and* Dick are both going to be Batman, thus sayeth Dan DiDio over on IGN Bruce gets the yellow oval emblem, Dick keeps the plain black bat. -
Quote:You cannot make Ghost Rider without CGI. There is no other way.Done right, Iron Fist could be such a cool movie. You've got a mystical city, some kick-*** martial arts fights, a good solid lead character, and so much backstory built into K'un L'un now that you could craft almost anything out of it. You really wouldn't even need to go too much into CGI and effects. Something for the dragon when Danny actually gets the Iron Fist, and a little for the effect when he uses it. But, beyond that, I think they'd be best served by keeping it grounded and realistic. Which of course means they'll try to make it into a bloated effects-laden CGI monstrosity that will suck *** and completely ruin the character. *cough* Ghost Rider *cough*

I believe he would be up for the part. I believe he has an iron clad contract with both Marvel and DC/WB to have first shot of any Superhero character coming out regardless of race, age and gender.
Seriously, I want to see Iron Fist and Luke Cage out the same year as two separate movies and the sequel is the two of them forming Heroes for Hire.
Terry Crewes as Luke Cage now more than ever after seeing the Expendables.
Iron Fist no clue, Jason Statham as Iron Fist maybe? -
Betty Ross, wow I know Leob wrote this but you know that Editor in Chief and now President of all Marvel Media, Joe Q who probably helped come up with the idea.
I mean Betty Ross Banner was killed by the Abomination to get at Bruce. Why would she be acting like a total evil being when she comes back? Would she not want her revenge on Igor?
It was her death that triggered Banner's fall from grace that helped get him booted and tricked off this planet.
Wait... sorry Logic. This is Joe Q's Marvel, an artist who is not a writer. My bad. It has to look cool and make no sense. -
I figured. I just thought of the stupidist idea that Joe Q thought would be cool as a kid and the Rulk came to mind and it had to be 'Thunderbolt' Ross because the character is too complex for Joe Q to understand.
-
I never said that it was not cool. It looks more like a weapon a Time Lord would have if he was a Jedi.
